I absolutely hate the fact that every single show I get into on TV, gets freaking cancelled. So I now resort to just reading most of the time. xD;

Most other shows I find were wrapped up nicely, and bringing them back would be stale and pointless at this point. But mah Powerpuffs *frowns* wasn't wrapped up at all TT_TT

Now I'm all confused, the last time I looked Good Eats hasn't aired a new episode in...like...years...how am I the only one that knows it's not still out there??

I don't watch it regularly I wouldn't alwayw notice if one is a rerun or not. It was on TV up until a few months ago, on mondays. I haven't checked in a while though. There are often other things I watch at the time.

A number of the cartoons I like were cancelled but with all the new channels now, things like Teletoon retro and the Nickelodeon channel, a lot of them are being replayed. Might not be new but I'll take it.

just wanted to mention that we're talking about shows that were cancelled here? not ones that were concluded after x amount of series like Rugrats and Buffy :P

The awesome TV shows that have disappeared that I sooo want back are:
1.) The Wild Thornberries
2.) As told by Ginger
3.) Dexter's Laboratory
4.) Pop eye
5.) Invader Zim
...loads more. I grew up with these shows ;A; </3

Invader Zim. It needs to come back.

And a few anime, such as Furuba, Soul Eater, and Ouran that stopped while the manga kept going.

Firefly was the first thing to come to mind for me, but now that I think about it, AMC's Rubicon was a fantastic show that deserved a lot more than one season. I don't think it was that popular, though, given that it was pretty subversive of the conspiracy-thriller genre, but I loved it and am so glad that I managed to catch it when it was on.

Not familiar with Firefly, just the movie Serentiy. I've heard a number of comments about it being cancelled though. I guess it just came out at the wrong time or maybe it didn't get to a wide enough audience fast enough to be worth enough money. I guess it's the flip side of Buffy, which was brought in originally as filler for another series that was cancelled half-way through the season. Yay, Joss Weadon!

It was more executive meddling, than anything. They aired the first few episodes out of order, and at... I want to say 7:00 Friday nights. Couple that with lack of advertising and it's no wonder the show got axed, despite how great it was. I didn't even know it existed until Serenity came out.

hmm I dont know if anyone else is a fan of cheesy Cliches but I want the cape back, I think it only lasted ten eppisodes.

Heroes, Dresden Files, Invader Zim, The Animorphs, The show with the giant robot cats that defended the universe, Zoids, The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (The Original. Not any of the new ones).Spiderman and his Amazing Friends, Teen Titans, Thundercats... The list goes on and on. Of these, I want Heroes back the most. It was cut off at the worst time. Nothing was tied up. Every single plot line, but one was left hanging. And the series finale made even more questions appear.
