Hey i'm alright, waiting on my boyfriend to get here in about 30 or 40 mins, and then my sister and her husband are supposed to be coming to visit the whole weekend, including today... in about a hr i think they are leaving. I'm gunna be so pooped once the weekend is over. >3>

I'll be pooped too for an entirely different reason XD

mehh... lol i guess.. only thing is..the place we live in now, we only have 1 bathroom. My mom,stepdad and I, we all live here. so just imagine having company spend the night. xD lol.. yeah, I am thankful i get to see me boyfriend though. I always am... you never know what may happen. anyway, what's up with you??

Nothing much. I went to the Pirates premier last night, it was a lot of fun.

I work tomorrow and more than likely sunday, both eight hour shifts. By sunday night I'm going to want to kill.

I rather like fish. I just recently got a new Beta fish because my old fishie passed away. =( But! This little guy is awesome. Bright Ruby Red with a black tipped tail. His name is Zuko. ^^

Zuko is an awesome name. <3
I like goldfish more, Betas are kinda scary no matter how pretty cause they don't like other fishies.

I actually don't know. I've never eaten Fish before.

I like fish lots of ways. Deep fried, pan over the fire, stick form, and in aquariumsm too. ;). My mom was a big Cory fan. We had an albino cory that had been in the tank for some 20 years since I remember it growing up. We called it "Catty" (how unoriginal) given that it reminded us of a catfish. We had some panda cories too. They are really cute but really fragile. We had three and one or two of them died when we cleaned the tank because of shock -we think.

I like black skirted tetras myself, but we had those around in the tank all the time too. Although, they bug me now because so many of the ones in pet stores now have short little neat fins instead of the more flowy guys they used to have 10 years ago. Sucks!

I had a bubble-eye fish once, the one with the bubbles right under it's eye? It died, though ;-; got stuck in the filter... cause of it's cheeks.

I rather enjoy Betas. ^^ He's got a 2 and half to three gallon tank to swim around. He's got a plastic dinosaur AND glow in the dark grass that he's made a bubble nest on top of.

looked it up. I suddenly REALLY want a beta fish. XD

I love betas. There are also like goldfish in that they can produce their own oxygen and therefore can live in a cup of water. Pet stores often sell them either in tiny bowls or plastic cups. Just don't *ever* put two in the same tank if you want their fins to stay intact. Their other name is Siamese Fighting Fish, or so I've always heard. Put a mirror up to the side of the tank and they puff and spread their fins out to intimidate the 'intruder.'

yep, just read that. And the betta and fighting fish are the same fish.

Yeah. It surprised me because I didn't know that the males made them. XD

My mom had two beta and my dad, when he was younger, stuck them in one tank together to see if they really did fight. Sbout 30 seconds later the pretty blue one was near finless. He lied and said one jumped into the other tank, which apparently they can do. My cousin tried to breed them once, but the female decided she didn't like the male and almost tore him appart. My cousin didn't like the female anymore and tossed her in with his piranha. I'm pretty sure the male lived. Oh, and from personal experience, they will bite the tail fins off guppies if they are in the same tank.
