BAD MOVIES!!! D:

I don't want to be a Douche or anything but have you ever watched a movie and afterwards you screamed "that was BULLSHIT' or "Damn that was horrible"

Well here's the thread to express and discuss really bad movie you watched whether is a remake, sequels, prequels, independent films, animated, and everything in between.

I have some, the one that tops it is a Film called The Room (not a Silent Hill video game turned film).

I couldn't find the movie but I have the episode where the Nostalgia Critic talks about it.

Fey 04-12-2011 09:38 PM

OMG yes yes yessssssssssssssss!

Beautiful Bones- I get that it's based off a good book...but the movie was like dragging a corpse around(oh the pun)!

Babylon AD- So, wait, we saw the ending at the begining, but it wasn't the end, but the end wasn't an end either? My brain, oh my brain.

Sleepless in Seattle/You've Got Mail- They're together cause THEY'RE THE SAME BLASTED MOVIE! And really, if you have no chramisma between the main actors the FIRST time, why would you do it again?? (though being fair, I dislike both the main's in every movie they're in so I'm a bit biased)

Highlander 2- Really, I don't even need to say anything, spoony did it all for me.

That being said, some 'bad' movies I love:
The Punisher(1987); Oh Dolph Lungren, drive that motorcycle through the sewer, you go boy.
Most Van Damme Movies- What? We all get a guilty pleasure, doesn't mean I don't know it's bad LOL

I'm sure there's more, but I can't think of them right now.

Taiki 04-12-2011 10:31 PM

Has anyone ever seen Jesus Christ: Vampire Hunter? It's like, really bad, but I watched it a few years ago with my brothers and we couldn't stop laughing most of the time so I'd say I liked it. :'D

@ Echo, I watched that crit video and that movie does look horrible. xDDD Like, who is that kid?! Is he like their friend or something?

Echo-chan713 04-13-2011 12:03 AM

Fey- My mom loves Sleepless in seattle and You got mail. I don't like them because I'm not a chick flick girl

Taiki- Denny, I think it's his son or his nephew I don't know because they don't give him character depth nor a clear relationship between Denny and the other characters

Taiki 04-13-2011 12:14 AM

I thought he was that guy's son too but at some point during that thing, I think it was when that guy held the gun to him, someone says that the main guy is "like a father" to him, so I don't think he's technically related to them. owo; I think he's just a creeper kid that walks into their house whenever he wants to try to hit on that lady. xD

Ashy 04-13-2011 12:32 AM

i hated Tropic Thunder, mostly because i couldnt understand what robert downey juniors character was saying the whole time. Oh and the racial slurs against australians, thats a real turn off.

You mean John's Fiance

Fey 04-13-2011 12:47 AM

LOL well I guess SOMEONE had to like SiS and YGM...but I wasn't one of those people. But then again, I also dislike Titanic and Castaway(isn't that the tom-hanks-talk-to-a-volleyball movie?).

Taiki 04-13-2011 12:52 AM

@ Echo, yes, I'm really bad with names. xD

@ Fey, I've never seen Castaway. owo;

Echo-chan713 04-13-2011 02:03 AM

Fey- Yes I've seen Castaway. it's the one with Tom Hanks talking to a volleyball named Wilson

Taiania 04-13-2011 02:37 PM

Paradise lost was the worst thing I've ever seen and the Exorcist the beginning was a close second. There's a few hours of my life I will never get back.

Echo-chan713 04-13-2011 06:29 PM

Would you need therapy in order to get back in the real world

NikkoGallarado 04-13-2011 07:19 PM

OMG Echo we have that movie on DVR~! XD IT IS BAD I can't belive I saw it again after the first time I watched.

Echo-chan713 04-13-2011 07:52 PM

THAT MOVIE NO~ THAT ENDING WAS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!

Funky Monkey Vibration 04-14-2011 07:13 AM

Twilight. :D

Oh and... Cirque du Freak.
So. Horrible.

Echo-chan713 04-14-2011 10:55 AM

Vampires shall not be sparkles

Gabe Puratekuta 04-14-2011 02:51 PM

Lord of the Rings. It was--The--I couldn't get into it. For one that I like, I'd have to say The Producers (1968) and Casino Royale (1966). Both were hilarious!!

Echo-chan713 04-15-2011 12:25 AM

I couldn't get into LotR as well, my Mom did, not me

Rem 04-15-2011 05:33 AM

A few friends and I walked out of Autumn in New York
I mean just..walked right out, and I've never really done that before. Usually I'll try to find SOMEthing redeemable about a movie - even if it's bad, maybe it's so bad it's good or hilarious or we can make fun of it or someone's hot in it or SOMETHING.
But omg no
that thing was god fucking -awful- .. trite and boring and kind of creepy because whatshisface, Richard Gere, is NOT an American Gigolo anymore. He is waaaayyyyyy too old to be hitting on Winona Ryder, and she's not even that young anymore to start with. :[ It was just...it was insulting, was what it was lol

also I really hated - I mean reaaaaaally hated - American Beauty. I mean in a real visceral way. I mean hated so much it made me cry out of sheer anger at how bullshit it's bullshit was. That movie is full of terrible people whining about how terribly boring their terrible upper middle class lives are. And we're supposed to sympathize with them? Buncha goddamn pansy suburbanites.

Also Falling Down had the same effect on me. I still can't really talk about that movie without getting extremely angry and upset.

yari 04-16-2011 10:21 AM

BUTTERFLY EFFECT, AND A KNIGHTS TALE THE PREVIEWS WERE GREAT BUT THE MOVIE WAS A COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME TOTAL BULLSHIT OH YES AND THE WORST ONE OF ALL IS DISTRIC 9 WASTE OF MY TIME AND MONEY I WAS SO PISSED UGHHH!!!!

Echo-chan713 04-17-2011 06:07 PM

I actually liked District 9 to tell you the truth. I just rarely watch it. Repo men is a BULLSHIT MOVIE, it was based off of Repo! the Genetic Opera.

It had Jude Law in it, when Nikko and I watched it till the end we looked at each other yelled together "THAT WAS BULLSHIT!!!" then Nikko called Keinedon Avorellis telling him how Repo men was complete total Bullshit.

Remember we watched this movie after the Genetic Opera so I could see how much it changed and to see the original one before I make a critism.

Cronislee 04-19-2011 01:40 PM

Avatar.
Too much CGI, not enough original story. Didnt get interesting til towards the end, and frankly it was nothing more than pocahontas in space.

Nanka 04-19-2011 02:53 PM

The one really really bad movie that I watched was An American Haunting. It was supposed to be a scary movie and I freak out over every single horror movie I see. During the time it was playing, I wasn't scared once and I laughed my ass off when the girl was getting slapped repeatedly across the face in mid-air. So freaking stupid. xD

I thought it was mostly like Dancing with Wolves type of story then add colorful CGI

Fey 04-19-2011 08:36 PM

smurf pocohantas in space was admitably bad...specially after you realized that if they used that 'hair tail' thing for...uhm...whoopie...what did that mean they were doing to the animals when they were 'riding' them?

Echo-chan713 04-19-2011 09:10 PM

It was a halo, in which when conjoined their minds locked to each other

Padfoot 04-20-2011 10:54 AM

Dragon Wars.Thats all I have to say.
OH And Skyline, that movie was ridiculous. Would have been fine if the end was different....

Echo-chan713 04-20-2011 12:13 PM

Paranormal Activity 1 & 2 were "claimed" to be scary but me and my friends weremaking fun of it like "foot rapinf demon" and how stupid her boyfriend.

When I first fully saw the movie, at first you feel bad that her boyfriend died, but with all the shit he put her through and never listened to common sense on the paranormal (like DON'T INTIMIDATE IT) your'e glad that he died

Downtown Hobocycle 04-20-2011 11:08 PM

for me Dances with Wolves was probably the worst, it was 4 damn hours and nothing happened! yeah i also hate North.

Echo-chan713 04-22-2011 01:00 PM

Never heard of North

ATorridLoveAffair 04-22-2011 01:17 PM

Just about all "scary" movies are complete BS.
It's rare for me to be creeped out by a movie. Which sucks because I love being scared. :l

Duchess 04-22-2011 01:34 PM

Ever saw a movie called Baby Geniuses II ???

It sucks... A lot.....

Echo-chan713 04-22-2011 01:44 PM

The name sounds familiar, I've seen the first one but I don't remember the second one Duchess

omg i love that movie oh so much it was worth watching for me that is

Echo-chan713 04-23-2011 09:36 PM

It never caught my attention but my moms loves that movie that she named her cat Two Socks after the wolf from dancing with wolves oTL

Fizzyology 04-24-2011 12:25 AM

Who hasn't watched a movie the thought sucked eggs? lol

I mean sure it's all a matter of opinion, such as I hate the twilight movies and there's TONS of obsessive fan girls.

There was one movie where I believe is called "Adventures of a Teenage Dragon Slayer" that was so terribly done we didn't even bother to finish watching it. The acting was terrible the story was choppy and don't even get me started on the fact that it looked like the graphics were done by a simple novice teen with little knowledge of 3-D animation.

Duchess 04-24-2011 12:31 AM

With Baby Geniuses II... it's not a personal opinion....

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0270846/ ........... 1.5/10 in rating >__>

Metascore- 9/100 ... Nominated in 4 categories for the Razzies

And NUMBER TWO!!! on the bottom 100 worst movies EVER on IMDB.

This movie IS BAD.....

it sounds stupid anyway TT_TT

Seloria 04-27-2011 11:06 AM

Omg I love watching movies a lot, so yes, often I find movies that weren't worth the time spent on them.
I'd have to say that most recently the one that stuck in my head that really sucked was Catfish. It was supposed to be intense and suspenseful according to the commercials on tv, but it was boring and predictable and there was no climax to it at all.
Paranormal Activity was a horrible attempt at a movie, though the second one was a little better and explained the story better than the first one.
I don't like long drawn out dramas (dances with wolves, titanic, castaway were some that were mentioned), I find them boring and movies are supposed to be entertaining.
I'm going to generalize Steven Seagull and Van Damme movies, they are pretty bad, though some are almost like an addiction, you can't help watching them even though you KNOW its bad.
After.Life with Christina Ricci and Justin Long and Liam Neeson... I like them all as actors but that movie was just... Blah!
Pandorum was pretty bad, it seemed like it was gonna be a good movie, but it was just long and boring... I think it felt like most of the day passed while I watched it but it was only the 2 hours or so.
Hulk with Eric Bana done a few years back was just an abomination to any comic fan. It was one of the worst I've seen.

Can't really think of any others right now but I know that there are plenty more, and when I think of them I'll have to come post again lol.

I thought Paranormal Activity was going to be awesome because of the trailer of audiences being scared. But when I watched it. We made fun of it and her boyfriend is a dumbass that deserved to die for putting his girlfriend through hell (literally), he had no common sense in dealing with the other world and for that he died.

For a moment I felt sorry for him but then like I said he put her through hell so he does deserve to die.

The second one was better, more character interaction since it's the epilogue to the first one, but they just moved the problem instead of killing it. ANd the daughter did the same thing that Micah did which was to use a weegee board (DON'T EVER USE IT!!!).

That neck crack was SO FAKE DX. A neck can't crack that loud that survillance camera can capture it that high quality.
