Thread Starters?
 

Well, I have come to notice that only a select few of Trisphees ever start new forums. At least in this thread. Look around. Can you see who are the main thread creators? :3

I'm not really one to start threads a lot of times (mainly cause they die, or barely get off the ground) but I was wondering if anyone else noticed this?

Are you one to join a conversation, start one, or just lurk? I'm curious. :D

If I've something to say that's not already being discussed I've noooooo issues starting a new thread. But I always worry about the dreaded 'spam', so I try to pick and choose my timing.

I haven't seen a lot of spam lately. Or... like, at all. xD
Then again, I've been absent recently, but I hear that it has been a problem.
Is that true?

I like to start new thread and most of my threads have been very successful in the past, especially on other avatar sites I used to be on. I don't really post a lot or post much anymore so my thread usually die off after a while, sadly. D:

I just thought if I posted this, maybe it would prompt people to start threads of their own. But that could just be wishful thinking. lol

I create a thread when I have a good idea of one to start :3

I rarely start any. I like making other people do the work. *leans back* *cool smiley*

Usually when I want to start a thread and I think I have a totally awesome idea I will actually write out what I want it to say, reread it, then delete it because it usually ends up being really stupid sounding. >_>

Yes I've noticed this as well. I'm not much of a thread starter. I'm more of a lurker or one to join a conversation. I would start thread topics more if I had something I thought was interesting to say. Rarely do I ever start threads on avi forum sites XD. Maybe this will change in the future. P:

I have no problem joining a conversation if I feel I have something to say, and I'll usually stick around to see where things went. I don't start threads often though. I tend to feel like I need to keep tabs on them when I do, so I usually only make a new thread when I think it's needed or it's something I think might be interesting that no one else has yet mentioned. I plan on starting a role playing thread but not until I have a good grasp on a story opening and idea base to work from. I've played enough RPGs on forums to know that lack of ideas or inspiration slows things down REALLY fast. I like to be in a position where I can kick-start things again if momentum starts to slow too much.

I usually only start a thread if it's actually something interesting to talk about that hasn't already gotten a thread for it lol.

I guess I prefer to join in a conversation if I fell like I actually have something to say at least

I don't start threads. D8 and I don't post much~ I really should, and lurk less.

Mostly lurk or reply on threads, but I've started a few on my own c: ...thou it seems that they doesn't go so well XD

lol tell me about it. But it's the effort that counts. I know some people are intimidated by large threads so I think if more people started them, it would lead to more activity.

I'm starting more threads lately, in part because I'm running out of threads that I'm inclined to reply to. This is a tiny forum compared to the areas I usually frequent, but I don't mind that. It's a bit of a downer when no one seems interested in a topic but one just needs to shrug and move on.

I try but i feel like my threads tend to die, which is fine with me it means people are actually posting if my threads get bumped down. I think a lot of people start threads its just some parts of the forums arent as popular there for dont get posted in as frequent.

I.. rarely ever make threads. xD; I don't initiate very well. At least, forum wise. I never know what kind of topic to make, what type of discussion to implement, etc etc. That and I'm scared I'll get yelled at, for some odd reason. xDD;

So I just stick to posting. Frequently.

that's how I am, Batty. I have enough threads made by other people for me to post in. I can't compete with that! so I just keep theirs alive.

I think i just randomly hop in.. lol. errrr, try to think of threads but, alot oftimes i can't really think of any..and they usually get ignored.

My hangout thread goes well but it's the stores that I try to post they die pretty fast and for some reason my lifestyle and issues are really depressing and the glass half empty

I'm not very opened on here >.< I just kinda post whereever... idk. I've never been much of a hangout person, I like to just hop in and out of threads as I please.

I make posts that gets people to answer the questions and their opinions like my thread on Addiction. I get people thinking

I'm a hard core lurker. I try hard to get out of the lurking habit but I'm terribly shy.

I don't start too many threads.

Usually I look for hangouts to post in and lurk around.

I don't make new threads much, but they don't seem to have much activity, so I just post in other people's threads instead.

The only thread I made is to buy and sell stuff. Other then that I just lurk or post in random areas when I find a topic I like.
