Happy New Year, Panda! :D

We're officially in the next decade.

Glitch 01-01-2020 12:35 PM

Happy new year :3

littl3chocobo 01-01-2020 03:46 PM

anyone make a resolution this year?

Mekatra 01-01-2020 04:28 PM

I resolve to make it to 10k posts by 2021

Death by Mirrors 01-01-2020 04:45 PM

Happy New Year! Welcome to the 20s!
My resolution is to make no resolutions.

Biomecha 01-01-2020 05:16 PM

Mine is to increase my PPD (puns per day).

Kitalpha Hart 01-01-2020 05:45 PM

I've got three and I'm already failing lol
But I also tend to start slow and not start on the first looooooooool

Den 01-01-2020 07:21 PM

my resolution is to work on my strength and endurance, and hopefully get under 200lbs by year's end.

dragoness129 01-01-2020 08:24 PM

I didn't make any new years resolutions.
Didn't stay up to watch the new year come in either. Had to wake early for work.

Mekatra 01-01-2020 10:10 PM

I was asleep when it hit midnight but then someone started shooting off fireworks and my dog freaked out. She didn't stop barking until they stopped with the fireworks over an hour later.

Den 01-01-2020 11:21 PM

poor doggo.

Death by Mirrors 01-02-2020 12:17 PM

Yeah, poor doggo.

I personally adore fireworks, but I don't have any pets to worry about.

Wow, that was my New Year's EVe to a T.

Ginger 01-02-2020 04:53 PM

All of my neighbors went nuts with fireworks at midnight yesterday. The entire sky around the house was lit up and it was like a warzone.

Biomecha 01-02-2020 05:42 PM

The ones here are barely visible because the trees are in the way. They were at least less obnoxious about it this time, so far at least.

Death by Mirrors 01-02-2020 05:44 PM

I spent New Year's Eve at my aunt's in the countryside and had an impressive view at the fireworks.

littl3chocobo 01-02-2020 06:31 PM

i didn't have much to worry about in that department hardly anyone had them this year

i have no resolutions so i am the first one done!

Mekatra 01-02-2020 07:26 PM

Last year the idiot neighbors set off an avalanch on the other side of the river with their fireworks. Luckily no one lives over there so it wasn't like anything got damaged or anything, but still.

Biomecha 01-02-2020 09:17 PM

Even though fireworks generally don't appeal to me, there's some neat drone footage or higher altitude footage of the more dense areas firing them off at the same time.

Merskelly Metalien 01-02-2020 09:30 PM

I got flippin' tipsy as hell on New Years! <x'} I shamelessly drank some of the huckleberry vodka with the apple cider.
Played some Wii fit balance games,
watched the Twilight Zone marathon of course,
protected my brother's girlfriend from pillow attacks as she was nodding off,
wandered over to the Christmas tree and almost curled up like a cat under it,
x'D hung out and reminisced over a school house rock tape,
went outside to look for a wii remote and heard coyote howls,
came back in,
toasted the new year,
and somehow managed to medicate my mother for her cold. <x}
Didn't wake up with any sort of hangover. But I couldn't really remember who I texted happy new year to besides my dad. O-O; Turns out I texted a friend before crashing out, that I wanted to go driving out in the cool night, but that I thought it was a TERRIBLE idea. <x} Hehe, well I'm glad even while tipsy I had SOME common sense left.

Mekatra 01-02-2020 10:11 PM

I fell asleep before I could drink the mead my husband poured for me. >.<

Drone shows sound so cool. They also sound like they would be a lot friendlier to local wildlife and pets, not to mention waaay less likely to cause a fire.

Death by Mirrors 01-03-2020 04:32 AM

Drone shows are cool indeed (albeit I've only ever seen them on youtube so far)

daikokunyo 01-03-2020 05:46 AM

happy new year!
my resolutions are to read for fun more often, write more often, practice yoga more often. since right now my records with all three are bottom of the rut, it'll probably be easy to keep to my resolutions. the bar is that low. :s-fancy:

i dislike crackers. lightshows are fun tho. never seen a drone show.

littl3chocobo 01-03-2020 08:29 AM

i've not seen one either

mdom 01-03-2020 12:20 PM

Happy New Year!
My mom said my resolution is to lose 80kg
then die probably bc only bones would be left

Mekatra 01-03-2020 12:26 PM

Sounds like it is Tim to eat mom

mdom 01-03-2020 12:39 PM

I would, but then I'd be left alone with dad
no pls to that

Death by Mirrors 01-03-2020 06:20 PM

Question 1: Does your mom weigh roughly 80kgs?
Question 2: Can you lose her in the supermarket for a day?

Den 01-03-2020 08:49 PM

...give me enough time, and I can build a trebuchet for you to yeet her ass into the sun.

littl3chocobo 01-03-2020 09:31 PM

well her bones are going to be about 20kg so i'd say she's closer to 100

Den 01-04-2020 09:20 PM

My resolution for this year: once I get over this bullshit cold, I'm going to work on getting stronger and building my endurance. I have a workout plan based on a show I like, so it'll at least be fun to try and keep up with it.

Merskelly Metalien 01-05-2020 05:00 PM

>:3 I am going to watch more frickin' Twilight Zone this year!
You better believe it!
It's not a resolution,
<x'} because I watch it so much, it's not really a big goal or a significant change to my life in any way...
except for the fact that the Twilight Zone is always life-changing. TwT <3
