Wonky Memory
 

This is a classical memory game with a slight twist: when you reveal two tiles, the items can be in any order. So let's say you picked A1 and B5. There you discovered a rubber ducky and a pool floatie. Perhaps A1 was hiding the rubber ducky and B5 the pool floatie. Or it is exactly the other way around, with B5 being the duck and A1 the floatie.

Pick your tiles smart, or try to win with the brute force of many guesses. Pay attention to your previous results and that of your friends. Can you beat the game and find two matching prizes?

Use this code to pick two tiles you want to reveal.

1. Post in this thread which tiles you want to reveal.

2. If your two tiles match, you win a prize.

3. You have to wait for at least two other posts before you can guess again. Chatting however is allowed, even if there has only been one new post since your last guess.

4. Once you won a prize from the game, you can't win another one until two other players each have a different player found matching tiles. This rule ensures everyone gets a fair chance at something nice instead of the smartest (or luckiest) user grabbing it all.

5. Did someone lose a tile? While it may be unheard of regular memory games to have an uneven number of tiles, you are playing Wonky Memory. What's the extra tile about? Suppose you have to reveal it to find out...

You flip those tiles and reveal a Striped Vapor Four-Legged Cane and an Arrow Vapor Jacket - but you can't remember which one you looked at first.

You stumble against the table and all tiles land on the floor. By some strange magic only the two you picked lie front side up, all others still show their back. You discover a Block Vapor Jacket and a Geometric Vapor Jacket. While you still ponder which of them might hide under A1, all tiles fly back on the table.

Both tiles hover in the air, spin around themselves really fast and then reveal an Arrow Vapor Jacket and a Block Vapor Jacket. But which one was which?

Thank you! Beneath your selected tiles you discover a Fresh Donut Floatie that looks super delicious and 150 equally sweet Cubix Cubes. But can you find their matching treats? And which one was which again?

Can you get more stylish than with a Striped Vapor Crook Cane? Maybe with one of the fabulous dresses in Midnight Belle? You only need to find a matching tile...

You reveal a Block Vapor Jacket and a Striped Vapor Four-Legged Cane. I'm not saying the cane makes you old or forgetful, but for some reason your brain just won't tell you which card you flipped first.

What would you buy with 500 Cubix Cubes? They can be yours if you find a pair. However your other tile reveals a Spotted Vapor Four-Legged Cane. I guess you need to search elsewhere for the cubes. And under what tile were the cubes again?

This time you are more careful, but for some weird reason you still can't remember which tile was a Block Vapor Jacket and which an Arrow Vapor Jacket.

You reveal 200 Cubix Cubes underneath your first tile. Or was it underneath your second? Either way, the other tile shows a Spotted Vapor Four-Legged Cane.

A troll spins you around until you're completely dizzy and then hands you the two tiles. Both of them show a Block Vapor Jacket! Congratulations - that's a match. You win a radical new jacket.

You have a hard time walking towards the table, so it probably comes just right both of your tiles reveal a Striped Vapor Four-Legged Cane. Congratulations, it's a match. You win a fabulous walking aid.

Both of your tiles show a jacket, alas one of them is an Arrow Vapor Jacket and the other a Block Vapor Jacket. You will have to try again if you fancy new clothes.

A sudden gust of wind blows two tiles off the table and into your hands. Interestingly enough they are just the two you wanted to check anyway. You notice one of them shows Vapor Sneaks and the other a Spotted Vapor Crook Cane.

A stray dog runs away with your two tiles, but fortunately they can be recovered with just a few bite marks and otherwise intact. It turns out both picture an Arrow Vapor Jacket. Congratulations, it's a match!

At this moment you would not yet qualify to win another prize (there has only been one winner after you) but as it turns out your tiles do not match anyway. One of them reveals 1000 aurum and the other one a Metallic Pompous Crown.

You flip two tiles and reveal them. But why are they wet? You grab a nearby towel to dry them, and by the time you're finished you can't remember anymore which one was your first tile - just that one showed a Block Vapor Jacket and the other a Spotted Vapor Four-Legged Cane.

just noticed the whole 8th row is untouched XD

A rainbow cuttlefish wants to help and thus brings you your selected tiles. They show Vapor Sneaks and 80 Cubix Cubes, alas you don't know which one was which and the cuttlefish just blinks at you in confusion.

You got close to a match, yet not quite. One of your tiles has revealed a Striped Vapor Crook Cane and one shows a Spotted Vapor Crook Cane. I wonder if you used paint to make them look the same, would it still count?

A wild bear thinks the tiles are honey. It takes two fearless people and a net on a long pole to recover your tiles from the table. But then you see an Arrow Vapor Jacket and 85 Cubix Cubes.

As you flip those tiles you reveal the most wonderful dress. If you found a match, you could certainly claim the title of Midnight Belle. The other one shows a Metallic Pompous Crown, which only confirms your ascension to royalty. A good omen, perhaps?

If we already found the crown princess, this time the cards reveal who might become the elder royal. A Spotted Vapor Crook Cane and Metallic Pompous Crown sure give a hint. Gee - maybe these are fortune telling cards?

Your fortune suggests that you might become old and have some spare change in your pocket. At least that's a fair guess from revealing a Striped Vapor Crook Cane and 80 Cubix Cubes.
