The "Dabbing" Bluebird is referencing is a dance move.

It's basically a "dance move"(?) which involves slightly ducking the head as though sneezing, while throwing the arms up at angles as shown in the event item and the images in the first post.

The actor that did the dabbing Squidward was told off to never dab again. You can tell in later events when people keep chanting dab Squidward, that person was just DYING to dab, but the look at his manager who gave the headshake saying no was sad.
