Yo I went to bed after eating last night... actually, I just remembered that I stayed up until ten my time. I can't believe I'm going to iss this event.

I had to go to bed early due to waking up early.. We left for mom's DR at 7am, got home around 10:40am

I was always Mimicing Ed during those scenes.. (she's my favorite too) I wanted to do my 4 favorite parts of Ed from Toys in the Attic episode but the audition had to be 10-20 seconds long >x< Mmm More Pudding was too short.. Exploration! Experimentation! Exploration! EXPLANATION! part didn't really have different acting tones, just her being loud and goofy <3 So I went the one I did. ovo -forgot to say hi to MissK- o3o -waves shyly- |
Well I'd cast you in something. Have you considered setting up a few clips of your voice acting and popping up a fiverr? It's obviously not a LOT of money at a time, but it counts as professional work.

The thing you gotta remember about VA work: If you get stage fright, VA stuff might not be for you...
I'm a bit weird... I get super nervous if I have to do public speaking stuff (granted, I can do it easily if I'm doing a panel or talking about a hobby or interest of mine), but put me in a performance position and I'm just fine. |
I did alright when I was in drama class o3o
>w> though... when my classmates and I made our own little improv play.. my character died.. and then my classmates started screwing up so bad... i tried not to laugh.. but that only made the 'dead body' look like it was convulsing xD So happy I chose a face down dead position >w>, If I get the Funimation 1 Hour Contract, I think I'll be fine. On the other hand, this website that was given to me, I can do the voice acting from home. I use to animate my Gaia Avatar's mouth and voice act her >->, I hadn't really looked it up since... until I was shown that Voice Acting contest and then this Casting Call Club.. |

Fiverr is just a "gig" site where you can put up something you're willing to do for five bucks. People buy the "gig" and you do it, then you get four buck (the site takes a dollar each time.) Most people say they'll do like 300 words for five dollars or something. I used to make money on there ghost writing. I would write 500 words for five bucks. It wasn't a lot of money mind you, but it was something. Just a thought if you needed a little extra cash and wanted some professional work. Just make sure you put in your gig specifics that you have to be credited and all that. |
