The Snow Bank Food Bank
 

You might have noticed the little snowman up top, just begging to be clicked.

If you do, you'll find yourself in the Snow Bank, where you can receive a bit of food, or cooking implements. And, of course, give some back.


Every 4 hours, you will be able to receive a food item.

Every 15 minutes, you can give a food item. What you get, and what you need to give, is random, and unique to you.

What that means is...you'll need to use the Exchange or trade with your fellow users to get the right items, if you don't have enough!


All the items involved are the items from the Thanksgiving foodfight last month. The donation rewards aren't, of course. They're lots of snowy, wintry fun!


Let me know if you have any questions, and feel free to solicit for trades here, if you'd like. (Or make your own thread, if you wish.)

My first item was food on a stick :D and I have lots of extras from Thanksgiving especially gravy pourers if people need those :]

so i donated a food item and got Snowflakes... but i don't see them in my avi inventory. shouldn't they be near my Snowfall Style Belt i got before?

No, they're next to your other currencies. :)

Oh yeah, you gotta use a blank base if you don't want legs poking through something.

The "Adam" set in the Body Shop can help shore up the shape of your avatar.

does that give just the face or something?

There's an "Adam" piece for every part of the body. You can piece yourself together with different colors if you want...or just get the bits you can see through your outfit.

i was looking them over, they're such random colors. i got blinded and didn't notice any actual skin colors xD

Oh, yeah. The "Fleshy" set is the natural skin colors, and is always the last one in the set.

oh and i was suppossed to tell you that if i follow a link someone posts to another place in Trisphee, it logs me out on that tab and I have to log back in again, even though I'm logged in on the tab i clicked from. and it won't let me post until i log in again. it's really annoying.

Mm...Probably going from trisphee.com to www.trisphee.com or vice-versa.

I have been considering forcing all traffic to one or the other (which would prevent that), but I get some push-back on the topic, because some people like being able to be logged in as a mule on the one (www or not) they don't normally use.

Shadami - look at the url that you're logged in with. i'm always logged in at http://www.trisphee.com. a lot of the time when i click on another tris link it'll take me to http://trisphee.com - without the www. when i go up to the url bar and add the www. and hit enter, it's the same page, but *viola* i'm logged in again.

edit: Toho, we were typing the same thing at the same time! XD

How the heck do we donate our items and get the new ones?

You click the box on the page. The top box gives you items, the bottom box takes them.

If you don't have the item it's asking for, you can trade for it with someone, or use the exchange.

Took me a bit to figure out how to get the items we need.
I kind of want to get those items just for myself too, though because I missed the Thanksgiving event.

Well, of course! You don't have to donate the items you get. :)

It should. I checked on my iPad and phone before calling it done...

Kitarun: It works on mobile for me. Or at least getting the items does. Have yet to be able to give/donate an item. Bit only because I only have the one item so far...
