What are you dressing up as?

If you celebrate Halloween, what is your costume going to be this year? :3

Feel free to post pictures if you want too!

Illusion 10-25-2016 09:36 PM

Myself. Nothing is more spookier then a college student with a part time job.

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 10:00 PM

online? a talking head XD irl? a housewife XD

SparX 10-25-2016 10:21 PM

Sekeneko picked out a costume for me. As I did her XD Apparently I'm going to be Bloody Mary :p

Glitch 10-25-2016 10:36 PM

you should go as the drink. that would be funnier.

@illusion: clearly you are going as a banana

@cho: with a cute apron? :O

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 10:38 PM

nah, not this year XD not unless i can find my cute half-apron, i've gotten kinda fat X''D i am turning into one of those potbellied chubs like my fiance

Glitch 10-25-2016 10:44 PM

oh me too you know. I no longer fit into any of my clothes ;~; I have to wear my grandpas jacket.

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 10:45 PM

nah XD you have an excuse tho' i am just mutating from a guy who can pick you up and carry you around to a guy in need of a girdle XD

Glitch 10-25-2016 10:48 PM

well girdles are very stylish and all the rage

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 10:52 PM

X''D oh jeez

though on the matter of girdles i did find the one i used for my first housewife costume(i had a big padded bra and a double crinoline underskirt as well to make it look like i had an hourglass shape), i am fat enough that even without the other stuff it does look like i have a woman's waist XD it's soooo weird

Glitch 10-25-2016 10:55 PM

what kind of house wife, modern day or like 50s

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 10:57 PM

always 50s X''D modern housewife is just meh, it's reg crossdressing and not even fancy

Glitch 10-25-2016 10:59 PM

i suppose that is true. I like 50s housewife dresses.

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 11:00 PM

slingback is fabu

dragoness129 10-25-2016 11:30 PM

I am probably going with my mage look. I got a purple wig! Yesss!
Now if only I could afford that staff in Spirit Halloween. It is awesome looking!

littl3chocobo 10-25-2016 11:37 PM

what is spirit halloween? dude, i feel so out of the loop XD

Pessimisticat 10-26-2016 12:28 AM

I wish I could dress up, tbh (not sure what I would if I could...)
But alas, I am working Halloween, and we have uniforms ;(

dragoness129 10-26-2016 12:30 AM

It's a store that pops up near Halloween time. It is owned by the same company as Spencer's Gifts.

Awen Moonshine 10-26-2016 03:01 AM

I've been so busy working on costumes for others that I've not had time to put anything together for myself and my family... Our little one is only 2 though so I doubt we'll be going anywhere or doing anything other than watching tv and gaming online...

I was thinking about holding one at least, because I don't mind them at all XD
But I don't think I'm supposed to be drinking after my surgery >.>

trystan830 10-26-2016 10:32 AM

i'm going to be a witch - we look like everyone else! XD

Tiva 10-26-2016 11:04 AM

I am going to be a flight attendant because I am in uniform that day… *pouts* I can't even wear crazy make up or anything past my normal uniform of Pants and a white button down.

trystan830 10-26-2016 11:11 AM

so i work at michael's, and starting friday we can dress up. so friday i'll be a michael's employee. heh. saturday i'll wear one of my witchy dresses. i have no idea what i'll wear sunday. or monday, at my main job, since monday IS halloween! =)

Glitch 10-26-2016 11:28 AM

i always thought michaels would be so fun to work at haha. I'd spend my whole paycheck there though.

trystan830 10-26-2016 11:33 AM

well, it's kinda fun... until you run into one of those customers i had on sunday - our halloween stuff was 60% off and she said there was a sign saying 70% off, and the manager said 'just give it to her' so i had to override just about everything she was buying. on the other hand, if i wouldn't have done it, she wouldn't have bought the $70ish of stuff she did buy.

and the manager loves playing with my hours, scheduling me when i'm not available. (like fridays, i can work until 5. the in-process schedule that got posted yesterday, she has me until 6:30 next friday. whut?)

yeah.

Glitch 10-26-2016 11:36 AM

awe well that is just poopie management I think

trystan830 10-26-2016 11:39 AM

most people have said the manager isn't the best at scheduling. other stuff - customer service - she's great at.

Tiva 10-26-2016 11:44 AM

Managers like that should be shot. I had one that did that during college, and I ended up walking out and quitting because she refused to accept my new schedule for the next semester. I was a WFSS night and TR Morning but I had to move to MTRFSS Nights only thanks to the new classes i was taking. I had 1 class at 9 am TR and couldn't work morning shift anymore.

Glitch 10-26-2016 11:45 AM

i always tried to take tuesday and thursday classes only. It made for very long tuesdays and thursdays.

Sometimes I had to do a wednesday night class that I'd have to go to right after work . . . that wasn't fun.

trystan830 10-26-2016 11:50 AM

yeah, everytime she does something like that with my schedule, i change my availability to be an hour less. like right now, friday is 9-5, and i just submitted a change to be 9-4. IF she ever gets 'round to approving that. she's also off today. the other thing i really think about when she does this is applying to JoAnn's and jumping ship.

but i'll check my schedule again in a few hours and if it's still the same, i'll call the store (i called yesterday and the 'assistant' manager (it's in quotes because.... well, that's another story) said it's not really the official schedule until wednesday, and she was surprised the manager published it because she was having some issues with it.

on the other hand, she does things like knows i can work 9-1 on saturdays, and then schedules me until 1:30 because she 'needs another extra half hour somewhere.' and then says i can leave at 1 if i need to. uhm, yeah, i do need to. yeesh.

Tiva 10-26-2016 11:52 AM

I was a full time student, and my major classes were MWF except for this one damn class that was TR. It was his only class on TR and he did it so he could teach and then sit in his office all day grading papers. Otherwise he wouldn't want to grade them.

Glitch 10-26-2016 11:52 AM

jo anne's would probably be pretty fun to work at too. Although, I hear you get a lot of weird fabric customers there.

I was full time as well, it was al oooong tuesday and thursday xD

Tiva 10-26-2016 11:56 AM

I went from 10 am to 3pm with a two hour break at noon for lunch. On Wednesday I took a 3 hour long night class that got canceled half of the time.

Joann's customers aren't weird…. we are quirky. Though the cutting table can get really busy some days.

i resemble that remark too!

and yeah, i could see that too.

Tiva 10-26-2016 12:52 PM

I went in yesterday and thee lady at the cutting table looked like she wanted to die. Someone had over 7 different bolts of fabric.

trystan830 10-26-2016 01:02 PM

yikes. that's a little insane. i've had three at the most, i think.

Tiva 10-26-2016 01:03 PM

I had 5 one time, and she looked pissed but really i couldn't do anything but take another ticket which i would have if they had been busy.

trystan830 10-26-2016 01:05 PM

yeah, that makes sense. what were you making?
