Create a Mask Contest!

You walk into an oddly dark and quiet tent. Within the tend is a mysterious woman that is arranging plain white masks and various art supplies on shelves and tables. She doesn't seem to realize that she's no longer alone until she turns around.

She lets out a small, surprised squeek as she brings a hand to her chest. "Oh...wow. You startled me." The woman takes a moment to catch her breath. There is a sense that she is being overly dramatic about it.

Finally, she gestures to the various items surrounding her, "Are you lacking in a mask for the carnival? Then you have come to the right place! Even if you already have one, I encourage you to use the supplies to create your own!"

She looks around with a huge smile that falls when she realizes that she isn't getting the reaction she had hoped for. Her smile returns as an idea that she thinks is brilliant comes to her mind. "How about if we make it a little more interesting, huh? I will give the people with the best masks a prize!"

That gets the excitement she wants to see. The woman steps out of the way and watches with satisfaction. She speaks up, "Be careful with some of the supplies, they are magical and a little on the dangerous side." With that warning she takes a seat and beings working on her own mask.

You may enter one of each mask using the form below.
No mules please, one entry only.
You must use one of the masks below.
This event will end on June 5th.

Prizes:
First place will win 20 tickets!
Second place will win 15 tickets!
Third Place will win 10 tickets!
Hosts pick will win 5 tickets!

Man, my PSP7 is opening so slow, I may just have to save the image as and work on it later after I've had a rest.

Is there any way you could post these images as .PNG? My art program (Paint Tool Sai) keeps telling me that it cannot open the file type as it's invalid. :c

That's odd. I can give it a try, though. Just a sec.

Apparently I cannot. Even though I saved them as PNG, photobucket will not upload them that way.

Let me see if it can be done another way.

Nah, I never upload with an account. I just drag onto the main page.

Oh okay. Still, that's good to know. I'll make sure I use that for future artsy contests.

Not a problem. I think photobucket is pretty awful, so I use imgur exclusively.

Maybe one day uploading to Tris will be easy. -eyes Toho-

For some reason I cannot open the masks as a file D: it keeps telling me the file is unsupporeted, damaged or corrupted D:
I can't even view it on windows photo viewer. Or open it in general in any app.

o.o Have you deleted your files and tried to save them to your computer again?

Yes I did, I even followed the link but of course pb wouldn't let me save them from the site lol

There should be a download button on facebook so that you can save the image.

I viewed the image separately, then viewed photo info and saved one portion of the file to make it work XD

Sorry for the double post but I was able to finish 2 before I hurt to bad to sit where I need to XD All this practice recently is really getting me into the flow with my tablet finally XD

it's a cursed mask because just as i was going to save it on my computer, maintenance struck, and i couldn't. :s-wut:

I'm glad that you did post it. Though I wouldn't have known I was being deprived of an interesting mask, that's all I can say it would have been.

There are some very creative masks being entered tonight! I love it.
