FREEDOM AVATAR CONTEST!!
 

Well, since most of us are finished with our finals and such from college I'm going to hold an avatar contest. XD So there will be several different rounds that you can get points from, and the person with the most points will place in first, second and third, if there is a tie in placing I'll just give these that tied the same prize (I have plenty for it anyways). I will also give all of those who participated a consultation prize just so that no one feels left out. So the rules are as follows!

1. Follow the TOS please, I'd rather no one get into trouble. ^^;
2. please upload the image of the avi on another site like imgur/photobucket, etc.
3. The rounds will not be completed until there are at least five entries, after five entries I wait a week before closing the round.
4. Each round will have a theme, so you can use whatever items you want, no theme will require items to be purchased unless you want to purchase items.
5. Be nice to everyone. XD
6. If there are not enough entries by the end of June the event is canceled.


☼Prizes☼
1st - 20 runes and 20,000 arums
2nd - 20,000 arums
3rd - 15,000 arums

Consolation - 5,000 arums for those who have entered but did not place.

Second post will hold info on the theme and the entries.

Hmmm. I don't know if I like what I made. I don't like it because it's mainly just one big item, so it doesn't feel unique. Also I can't shake the feeling I look like Morrigan from Dragon Age. I should probably keep trying.

Will do! It's a tough challenge for me since it's a style I don't often dabble in. :3 I don't change my avi often enough anymore, so I've gotten lazy at making good avatars. I guess it's a good thing to have to work hard to get it right!

lol, Accepting because the sword looks more like a foil or rapier than a katana. XD

its a kodachi.. a short sword there is another in my other hand but the fog covers it up.

See, I guess one of the main issues with "medieval gothic" (and I'm not trying to start a history debate here), is that, historically, the Goths and the Medieval era didn't overlap, ahaha...

I get what you mean by "medieval gothic", but that kind of "gothic" is a very modern interpretation and is related to the punk rock movement.
