Trisphee: Long Hair

I noticed in our salon we have a lack of long hair, most of it is short and doesn't go past the shoulders. Could I suggest maybe we make some? I mean, it would definitely look nice to have some long hair in the shops.

Tiva 12-30-2014 02:37 PM

If you want longer hair try using the extensions to add to it. Also many items have hair in them that are past the shoulders. There is also some shop hair like that.

Espy 12-30-2014 02:38 PM

Hm, if you search the Salon for "extension", you get quite a few long hairstyles. Those can be layered in the back. If you want long hair in the front, you can try Joipa, Ringlet, Ricci, and Odessa, plus several others.

Gallagher 12-30-2014 02:40 PM

Most of our long hairs actually have their long bit separate from the front bit so you can mix and match the styles. If you want more than those... By god, knowing our love of hairs, it'll happen!

Personally, I find we have a lack of medium length hairs.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 02:41 PM

Thank you both, I shall go look now. :)

Espy 12-30-2014 02:41 PM

o.O;; Define "medium-length"?

Maybe we should put scene hair in there. XD

Gallagher 12-30-2014 02:44 PM

Defined like... Long, but not to your ankles long, or dramatically windswept long.

Long that a manly man like my avatar would wear.

MAYBE WE SHOULD, AIKKO. MAYBE. WE. SHOULD.

Speaking of, I actually have a new item to upload for y'all. Hmm.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 02:46 PM

Awesome! :) I actually would like to see if we could do some of those "to ankles" long hair if our bases can handle it, that is... I mean I would hope so. ^^'

Gallagher 12-30-2014 02:48 PM

It can handle them alright. Because of our avatar system letting you rearrange poses however you'd like, our items now and days are made so they look good without a base on, too. There's no difference between making a dress and making super mega long hair other than how the files get sorted before upload.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 02:54 PM

I see, that's good to hear. There are some avi sites that are beyond picky when it comes to hair. There was a chibi doll base one I recently quit because they were very closed minded about what avis could wear as well as what items could be created and used on the site. And it was all appropriate, so I'm still not sure why they weren't interested in any of it.

Espy 12-30-2014 02:58 PM

We do have scene-ish hair.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 02:59 PM

Agreed, we do, but it's kind of short and not as fluffy as I think it should be, then again it's in a short version so that might be why.

Gallagher 12-30-2014 03:06 PM

We don't really have limits like that, honestly. Our site theme/story thing allows for all kinds of styles, time periods, critters, etc. There's no nudey bits, obviously, but we still have our share of bloody gross ickyness. Just look at my avi.

It comes down to what the designers and pixelists feel like making. We try to get a variety of artists with all different tastes, and to urge them to break out of their normal things, but it comes down to the same.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 03:22 PM

Wow, I am stunned. No sarcasm here, this site is very open minded and just incredible in all aspects.
Have you guys ever thought about changing the layout of the site up a bit? I mean, just curious, or maybe organizing the shop a bit better? I'm just offering up ideas here.

Gallagher 12-30-2014 03:34 PM

We have! Our lovely coders already have ideas for the shops especially, but for the site itself, we need someone that can actually design that nonsense, and other fancy adminly things that I can't remember.

This is where Coda will poke his big head in and say things better than me.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 03:39 PM

Sounds like Coda is the top knowledge dog here, huh? :) Good to know we have smart people running the site, no kissing ass involved in my statement, haha. I'm actually getting into programming in college in a year and a half from now. Maybe I could help you guys with that too if you'd like.

Ginger 12-30-2014 03:39 PM

Which layout coding does Trisphee use?

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 03:42 PM

I'm curious about that too. Currently I know HTML (basic formatting) and a bit of CSS, but that's about it so far.

Gallagher 12-30-2014 03:44 PM

I am about 732% sure I've heard and/or asked what it is before, but I don't remember. Galla is the super useless, hurhur.

Ginger 12-30-2014 03:45 PM

I always seem to forget what Trisphee uses. I used to be extensively knowledgeable with HTML, and very little CSS. A site called Vampirefreaks used to have an HTML editor and I learned so much about it.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 03:46 PM

Haha. XD Well when Coda gets on I want to ask him a lot of questions. My curiosity is peaking, lol.

Illusion 12-30-2014 04:00 PM

Be wary on how you ask Coda, he might go full coder-nerd on you.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 04:03 PM

Oh bah, XD I am an otaku/artist/computer nerd. I've been through it all and I actually quite enjoy that stuff. C:

I'm a otaku/artist/computer nerd. Were officially besties until someone can offer a better friendship deal. xD Do I get hair petting privileges? And by do I, I mean me. So will you scratch my hair!? :O

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 04:07 PM

Yes! I think we shall get along just fine. But you must pet my hair too.~ uwu

WOAH WOAH WOAH. woah.

We haven't even begun touching ankle to ankle and you want to me to pet your hair? What are my certifications? I'm not legally trained for this! I need to contact my lawyers this is some serious business.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 04:17 PM

*Laughs* Oh my goodness. :p-smile:

Ginger 12-30-2014 04:23 PM

*Sues Illusion for the unlawful petting of Aikko's hair*

*Gets a $1 million settlement*

*Even though he didn't commit the crime*

Illusion 12-30-2014 04:31 PM

Then I sue you for wrongfully suing me!

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 04:34 PM

This scene hair I am working on is adorable so far~:p-raspberry:

Illusion 12-30-2014 04:35 PM

If you have a hair style you think is cool I'll pixel it if it's within my capabilities. (I suck with non-spikey long strands of hair FYI)

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 04:43 PM

I'm not sure where I stand on hair, but people seem to like it.

Gallagher 12-30-2014 04:51 PM

Speaking of. -checks notes- I am currently uploading a new hat to Threads, and would like some input on what sort of multi-colored versions I should do. Either the star or the cap itself staying one color, and what color that should be, please and thank you. If I don't get any thoughts, I'll probably stick with the standard black/white, but I do so love to do more interesting things.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 04:56 PM

Maybe purple and black? What I'd love to see maybe is a hat with a tassel on the bottom just hanging from it, or a piece of silk, or maybe a hat like Blood's from the manga Alice In The Country of Hearts. That would be adorable~

Gallagher 12-30-2014 05:01 PM

Well, if I do the standard black/white, then there would be several different purple/black versions in one item.

What I'm talking about is like... The HDE Lolita set in Eclectic Trends, the Dark version has a black that never changes with colored accents, and the Light has white that never changes with colored accents. The Schoolyard Rumble set comes normal with black accents that never change but the rest is colored, and the Blue version has colored accents with the rest a blue that never changes.

The standard black/white model would be like HDE Lolita, but depending on the input I get from y'all, I can do something like Blue Schoolyard Rumble.

Tiva 12-30-2014 05:06 PM

That is the hat from Neon Punk right?

Gallagher 12-30-2014 05:11 PM

Yep yep, so it can't come in the same colors as Punk has. No green star and conveniently slightly different shade of wine, or gold star and oh look it's fine cuz we skipped doing the special colored cap. Tris might explode if that happens. Boom.

Madame-Aiko 12-30-2014 05:18 PM

Are you serious? Yikes! :p-cry:

Gallagher 12-30-2014 05:20 PM

About exploding? Aha, definitely not. It would just be unfair to people who went out of their way to buy the item for that hat if we released the exact same version again.

WE ARE LACKING THE HATS THO. And I love this one. So.
