Welcome!
This thread is to be a collection of line arts for people to color. I'll also be keeping a section of colored arts for all to share their coloring skills! Sadly I am completely lacking line art at the moment. If you or someone you know would be willing to donate their art for the entertainment of others please post/message me. Also please send the image in png format to avoid loss in image quality. ^_^

UPDATE: I would like some banners for this thread. Please see here

// CREDIT WARNING //
Everyone wants credit for their hard work. If you ever share your coloring outside this site (or even on Trisphee) please be sure to give credit to the donating artist! <3

I love this idea! I'm not that great with lineart but I might have a few pieces around that are colour worthy, and I do like to colour stuff myself. I'll dig around in my sketchbook and see what I can find, though it might be a few days before I can get anything up.

Poggio 03-13-2014 08:14 AM

Here. I like this idea too. Maybe now i will get around to doing some lineart.if the content does not matter, I have some psd files I could save as line art.

Twigg 03-13-2014 11:22 AM

I might have some I can contribute.

Jurinjo 03-13-2014 06:37 PM

Yes by all means please send me the images guys =)
Please save them as a png file to avoid quality loss.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-13-2014 11:39 PM

Not sure I can manage that. Pretty much everything I do is by hand and scanned. Perhaps when I get my tablet up and running I'll see what I can do.

Jurinjo 03-14-2014 01:08 AM

Could I see an example of your line art?
Sometimes traditional works pretty good and sometimes it only needs a little cleaning before it's colorable. ^_^

Rainbowfox Ari 03-15-2014 11:17 PM

Awwww~ You still have the lil' ghosty boyo. ^^
Also, I came in looking for a thing to color. XD
I may or may not be extremely out of practice.

Kilala Mikal 03-16-2014 12:57 AM

Colorables? *looks around*

Also, I may have some stuff to donate. It's sketches that I've scanned, but I don't have a way to clean them up into digital line art at the moment.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-16-2014 09:17 PM

I haven't done any line art specifically, best examples I have are the drawings I based my paintings on. This is my DA here. Best examples are the two dragons and my avatar. My drawings are fairly messy, (in terms of general pencil dirt) but I have some line work around that I can made clean versions of. It might take a while to get things scanned though, as the person who normally scans things for me is off and away somewhere.

Twigg 03-16-2014 11:49 PM

Here, have a thing.

Thing.

Like the thing says, if you post anywhere other than this thread (bc I don't care if it's posted here) please link to my dA account. I'd appreciate it. :)

Arikana 03-20-2014 10:50 PM

Very nice, Twiggy. <3

Jurinjo 03-20-2014 11:01 PM

Totally forgot thread o___o;;
I'll update it but I gotta go sorry guys!

Arikana 03-20-2014 11:19 PM

Lololol. Don't worry, Jurinjo, it happens. :)

Jurinjo 03-21-2014 12:21 AM

@Arrikanez: I still like him. So no reason to change it ^^

@Arikana: Yeah, I was so excited and busy with my roleplays I haven't bothered to check other places.

EDIT: @Quiet: I really like your dark dragon. The border and colorful background really go a long way in making it awesome. As for line art they're not as sketchy as I thought they would be and making into colorable line art would be easy. As is though (if they were not already painted) the texture would still look neat if digitally colored (I would think).

EDIT2: I added some of my own line art. The last two are because this gallery is so emptry right now. I'll def be removing them asap. xD;;

Espy 03-21-2014 02:06 AM

Hey, uh. How /line/ art-y do you need lineart to be?

Jurinjo 03-21-2014 03:46 PM

Well ask yourself this: can I color it? If you can then send it right on over. If you're not sure...you can send it to me anyway and we'll see? xD;

Also I* like your siggy's animation. Neato :3

Espy 03-21-2014 07:52 PM

Here are a few, then, in case they're fine.

Jurinjo 03-21-2014 10:38 PM

I'm not 100% sure of the last one. But I put it in anyway. I could imagine someone creating a water paint effect with it. =) Yay atrsies to distract from my terrible ones! -deletes them-

EDIT: That last one with the bard....feels familiar for some reason. Do you know why?

Lololol. It happens. At least you eventually checked in here. :P

Espy 03-22-2014 11:05 AM

Third one was the one I have the most issues with, since its shaded. The first one is an OC of mine, so yeah...Not too comfortable with it, but if I wasn't okay, I wouldn't have posted it XD

The bard one, I think, is a post-style banner in some site I'm on.

Arikana 03-22-2014 12:38 PM

I think I've also seen it in your signature here at one point?

Jurinjo 03-22-2014 01:33 PM

Her siggy! That has got to be it.

Espy 03-22-2014 01:38 PM

That's probably it, then.

Quiet Man Cometh 03-24-2014 02:53 AM

Hi! Back from my hospital stint.

I like the dragons too, Jurinjo, and they were drawn to be painted so I had to keep the line works relatively simple. Conveniently, I save all of my drawing work so I may have a few older coloured work pre-sketches around, and I know I have the original drawings for those dragons. I'll look through them and see what I can bring in, though I have some qualms about putting certain works up for public use.
