American Horror Story

Not as spooky as it sounds, this show is very much like a soap opera for people that like horror....
... which I happen to adore!
I love that every season has been something a little different.
I love the reuse of actors to play different people each season. I thought this would be hard to get used to ~ but the actors are honestly ACTING! (Imagine that!)

So... Thoughts?!

hi... another AHS fan here - i love the show and the concept. i've been watching since the beginning. =)

trystan830 10-27-2015 12:35 PM

well, new season, new... everything. i love Hotel.

and Matt Bomer. and vampires. =)

Witchchylde 10-28-2015 03:07 PM

I think after the first two episodes it's finally getting around to actual plot.

Lawtan 10-28-2015 03:11 PM

I have only seen Freakshow...the Halloween special was good (Go Mordrake!)
How is this season?

trystan830 10-28-2015 05:06 PM

@Witchchylde - I've learned that it doesn't really matter to me if there's actually a plot....or not.

@Lawtan - well, I'd say this season is good, but I pretty much like everything I watch, so take that with a lump of salt. :f-hat:

I love American Horror Story! I've seen almost all the seasons. We lost cable during Asylum and never bothered to rewatch it. I should. I think I was only 3 or 4 episodes away from finishing.
It's something that my mom and my sisters all watch so it's fun to gather and talk with them about it.

trystan830 11-03-2015 11:32 AM

Rihee - it's on Netflix, if you have that.... my younger daughter just finished watching ALLLLL of AHS! =D

Rihee 11-10-2015 05:04 AM

I do have it! I need to just actually watch it. I've been watching other things on it instead XD

trystan830 11-10-2015 11:11 AM

hehe, there is that. i have a few things on my to-watch list myself!

Horror Babe 11-24-2015 01:14 PM

I love the show.

First season was my favorite, then the third, then the current (hotel), then fourth. And the second season has got to be my least favorite.

trystan830 11-24-2015 01:15 PM

i like 'em all!

Witchchylde 11-24-2015 02:49 PM

Our internet is too spotty for Netflix -- it seems to kick out with regularity approximately every 55 minutes. It's a shame too, because I was really into both Asylum and Coven and never got to see all the episodes of either season. I should see if the sets are at Family Video, at least there'd be no buffering.

trystan830 11-24-2015 02:51 PM

gah, spotty internet is annoying!

hope you get a chance to watch it all! (or you could come over my place and watch it on my netflix?) =)

Witchchylde 11-24-2015 03:09 PM

So if it weren't for my internet, I coulda been a Netflix contender, instead of a Netflix bum, which is what I am if I come bum it off of your tv? :P

trystan830 11-24-2015 03:12 PM

nah, call it a get-together to watch an awesome show. =)

littl3chocobo 11-25-2015 02:23 AM

well, after moving in with my mother-in-law and getting reacquainted with american tv i have found it to be a pretty alright show, unfortunately even though it is my favorite on technicality(i like it most of the shows i have seen) i just am not into all the silly contrived drama and i cannot find the time to catch it every week

trystan830 11-25-2015 11:12 AM

actually, i kinda like the "silly contrived drama" - but then again, i watch tv for sillyness and for the fact that it's all fiction. :f-hat:

littl3chocobo 11-25-2015 11:20 AM

that is why my mother-in-law likes tv too X'D

trystan830 11-25-2015 11:22 AM

heh, you'd think thats why most people like tv.

although i do like when shows have good plots sometimes too.... but if there's an actor in the show that i like - plots can go out the window and i'll still like it! (see: Matt Bomer in AHS:Hotel. yum!)
