Ari; it goes it goes. We're working on 'Engagement Party' Planning currently. That is going to take place on the 30th of this month.

techno poptart XD and i think that counts as both hahaha, he does not mind my weird gender issues or my moodiness so it works hahaha

sil, this is my avi, i grew up on a lake though so my idea of spring is basically this without the butterflies XD imagine it all greens and blues and stuff, soooo pretty

Silvery, yes it is. Its also Easter Weekend. So we have a lot to do before then. I have to order the food. Make the party decor/buy it. The invites are out, and I'm waiting on RSVPs. I'm thinking most won't have the letters until Monday or Tuesday. (As most of my family is out of state)

Have fun with it Mizzy. I can state that I hate it with a passion but that is because dragging the man to pick something is a horrible mess. FYI WeddingWire & pinterest is great for long distance wedding planning if you have tech savvy people or can't go in person.
I am taking the advice my old professor gave me. "Make it small and make it you, you never know the next time that you will ever have something that is all about the two of you. You don't need to have a thousand eyes on you because you wont realize that they are even there." He also added in some stuff about you don't want to go crazy because you never know what might happen in the next year.

Choco theres gonna be tons of pictures out of the wedding. (not sure about anything before that)

Good luck, I looked at my mother and said no... her guest list which was just family and close friends of the family was 150 people, and that didn't even include Alpha's family or our close friends. I limited the venue to 35 people, and cut off any one that i hadn't seen in at least 5 years.... that cut her list down to less than 10 people.

I hope your engagement party goes really well, Mizzy! Just a tip, if in planning everything it gets overwhelming, just focus on the things that matter most to you and make sure at least those things are perfect! That way if something less important goes wrong it doesn't seem like a very big deal.

just my close family is 40-ish people. Thats not even including Obbies.
But his family is tiny compared to mine.

Lucid, I know I can't control everything.
There are some key things I want to happen and so far nothing else matters.
I don't have a place, a date. I have details I'd like to have.
I don't even have a dress, or colors... (or any ideas on them)

There's nothing wrong with having a lot of people if your venue can hold it! It's really nice to have all those people who care about you, and the compliments don't hurt either. ;) You're going to be a princess!

I have ideas, and some pretty cool ones if I do say so myself.
BUT... its the basics (like date, place, colors, etc/) that I don't have and everyone is asking about

Mizzy, I'm currently being very scared of the fact that your avi contest has no theme.

.... Ummm at least 6 months down the line.. if not longer since it is a large wedding. A Friday or Weekend would be your best bet to make it easier for your guests to get to it since they are out of state. May 24th - August is the busy season for weddings, as is any date right near any major holidays. So grab a calendar go 6 months out and then just start marking up possible dates.

Yes I have all ready had to deal with this crazy shit.
