Pokemon Black and White!
 

My favorite Pokemon game was Silver!

I want to play Black/White but I'm in no rush.

I guess my favorite would be Pokemon diamond.

Pretty excited for Black/White, everything being all new and all. Which Pokemon I'll choose is beyond me, but I'm always a sucker for psychic types.

Oh and Pokemon Silver was my favorite ;D. All good ol' memories.. I remember my Level 100 Scyther.. First level 100 I ever got in any Pokemon game.. Because of scyther, Scizor became my favorite pokemon.

I will get pokemon black and my sister will get pokemon white, that way we have it all covered :D
Sounds like it will be more difficult then the other games, I dont know how well Ill adjust to the new battle system. -.-'

My favorite all time Pokemon game was Pokemon Red, cause it was the first I owned. I can't wait to get Pokemon Black, the new Pokemon are so awesome, but I'm going to miss some of my old teams. </3

Ordered it and will get it any day now...

Personally I enjoyed Silver most. But having seen pictures of the girl that will be in them, I think I might actually pic her as the lead role. I'm interested in seeing how the new pokemon look, and if theres any new abilities to boot.

I can't wait for black and white... though I am afraid it will stink like gen III... my favorite is gen II/ HG/SS :P

Trust me the battle system hardly change like.. At all.. The only thing new is the 3 way battles and rotation battles and I beated the game and only had like a couple of 3 way battles and 1 rotation battle... I wish the 1st gym would of been a 3 way battle but they had to make the 1st gym the 1st gym because of the dinky anime.

What is this new game about? I don't like the new pokemon, they look so cartoony and ugly D; They don't resemble the original styles that much at all.

I know right? But I did manage to find pokemon that I did like... I normally like the final evolutions of pokemon but this entire gen has ugly as fuck final evolutions. So it breaks my tradition but I found the begining evolutions are much cuter and I can accept them but not there final evolutions.

I will be getting both of these, I'm considering pre ordering them. My sister will get on and I'll take the other. I haven't really chosen which copy I'll take...I've also heard that there was some sort of mystery prize for getting both. I'm excited, but in no real rush. I've still got SoulSilve ro finish up.

I think they are a lot better than most in Shinno. Maybe it's just me. The whole game and story is better too. Some claim there's not a lot of new things going on but well either they are picky or blind. I think it's the first time I've actually felt this is "new" ever since Pokémon GS on gameboy color! Just the thing that everything moves makes it feel more alive. You'll notice straight away if you go back and play previous DS games. I think people need to stop whining about the old pokémon, you can still get those too later. Give the new ones a chance. At least half of them is worth a shot.

I agree and I don't.
The story is much better, but the thing that troubles this game after you beat the game there is absoutely no more story. In blind sight the game was extremely short story wise, it feels like a final fantasy game after you beated it. You won, great story but nothing else but a few quests and a few extra stuff.

The new pokemon are growing on me a bit, a bit as in I can accept 10 more of them I didn't before. But this generation is just sad, hopefully Pokemon Grey will fix the not having anything to do after you beated it. I want more story, and more things to do once you beated it. Theres a lot of useless areas that didn't even need to be in the game that could of been used.

The humor is great in the game though compared to all of the other generations.. I'm still laughing at being launched out of a cannon face first to a wall.. BAHAHAHA XD

I ended up getting Pokemon White in Japanese. I really disliked most of the new Pokemon but after playing with them, I'm starting to like them more. C: I can't really understand what anyone is saying, but so far I absolutely love the game. xD I really like that it is harder than previous games as well. The trainers seem to level up much faster. To me anyways.

I can't decide between Pokemon Yellow or Silver. I loved them both.

I'll be obtaining both Pokemon Black and White when they release here in America. :D

I'm already planning which Pokemon I'm gonna have in my first party haha. xD;;
I'm just worried about what console it'll be on, is it going to be on the 3DS? Will you even be able to play it on the DS, DSlite, etc.?
Anyways, I'm looking out for the US release date definitely.

Also, I am currently playing Soul Silver and I love it. In the Kanto region now but I'm just training Pokemon and trying to get some cool strong parties. :]

Same way Taiki playing it, Japanese. Its a pain in the ass I swear.. xD I'm able to name my guy white though. I have a action replay and I beated the game and got everything I could. Now to get anything I want.

I so want Black when it come out in English. (Reshiram! :3) I'm still trying to beat Platinum, though, so it'll probably have to wait until after I'm done with that.

Oh, and my favorite games are Yellow and Sapphire, so far. :3

I totally intend to get both one for me, and the other for my sister. As to which one I'll chose...I haven't really picked just yet. I'll be ordering after the holiday season has passed~ The new features sound so interesting and I can't wait to see what the story line is like~

as much as i love pokemon i'm getting so fed up with seeing "NEW POKEMON GAME COMING SOON".. there's ENOUGH bloody pokemon games! they really need to stop, its getting boring now!

yeah and the fact that you can only get some of the pokemon on one game and the others on the other one.. they make you buy both games to have all the pokemon!!

Anyway, answering the OP's question. Silver was my favorite game growing up, though I think SoulSilver has replaced that for me. <3

I jumped on the pokemon band-wagon late. My first game was sapphire. My favorite though is SS. And I'm excited about the new game, mostly because it'll probably be the last one that you don't need a 3DS for. And as for the new pokemon, well, sure you might not like them now, but pokemon look weird in general. Some cute, some ugly, but you get used to it and you learn to love the pokemon you have. The main point is the enjoyment of the game.
