Anyone who has played a Elder Scrolls game knows why this is indeed exciting. A vast open world with breath taking graphics and the ability to play as all of your favorite past races with your friends? What more do you want. Oh wait there is more, the old zones you might remember from past Elder Scroll games are redone and brought back to life. Not to mention any race or class can use any spell and weapon or armor. That's right you want a battle mage in plate wielding a halberd? Well by all means go for it. Also for those of you who do not know here is the site (go fawn over the arts and read the story behind the alliances).

I'll of course be joining Rose for this xD;

I will probably be playing an Ebonheart Dark Elf so I can play with Rose, but I will have a secondary character as a Wood Elf because well I love archery and wood elves xD

Does anyone know when they'll send out the email with whether you can do CBT? Or hsa that already happened?

I have no idea v.v I wish they would send an email whether you got in or not =/

I'm most likely not going to play as Ebonheart. I haven't actually played any of the previous games, so I don't have a bias. ...Yet.

i just know im rolling a dark elf! and my hubby wants nord so they are both the same faction xD thats my only motive.. if dark elf was somewhere else id go with it all the same haha

My favored faction is actually the Aldmeri Dominion, but I wanna play with Rose ;~;

well im no sure if there is anything that says we cant group outside of pvp zones i mean playing any elderscrolls sure certain races hated one another but they still spoke or interacted xD to a degree

we're in all out war, it might not happen xD If it comes down to it, I like Dark Elves, so.

also...there's...a dark elf warrior...holding a long pole of some sort...either an armored sorcerer, or...what if they give us SPEARS?!

nope 500 years before skyrim so people complaining of lore... well it hasnt happened yet xD

that's what I'm saying, is this the in-between? Cause there's that HUUUUUUGE gap between Oblivion and Skyrim where the Aldmeri dominion rose up, where there was some crisis and war, where racial tensions were restored...but..the nords hate the Aldmeri in Skyrim, so....eiiweohfbdj

i thought skyrim was before oblivion? o.o i mean if we go off who hates who the dark elves and argonians shouldnt get along as the lizards were salves to them at one point in history

o.O Is it? I mean, they REFERENCE the Oblivion Crisis in Skyrim, multiple times, and the blades are even almost non-existant by this time.

i was pretty sure skyrim was before o.o dunno i never played skyrim much.. lol thats the only one xD

I'm pretty sure Skyrim is set looooong after Oblivion. The Septims have died out, the Empire is no longer under Imperial control, the Oblivion Crisis is known of...

i dunn let me see if i can find a time line i just know the mmo is like before skyrim or like most of the lore people are complaining about hasn't even happened yet

Well if this is the formation of the Aldmeri Dominion, it is long before Skyrim

ok yeah skyrim was after oblivion in the like 4th era or whatever the online game will be during the 2nd era so like the redguard adventures or something

apparently that era a lot of stuff went down like the dark brotherhood was formed, the mage guide was formed the kitty kingdom was formed (for lack of being able to spell)

That sounds about right to me. the Second Era is where all the good stuff happens xD I wonder why the Nords and Dark Elves became enemies again...maybe infighting due to ulterior motives within the group, since each favors independency?

nords and dark elves are allies silly xD or least in the mmo o.o and during the 2nd era was when the nord king first helped the Dunmer when whoever invaded marrowind and all

the mmo apparently takes place at the end of the 2nd era so after everything is formed and all these people died and alliances and stuff

Rose, the Dark Elves are hated in Skyrim xD

i never played skyrim and i know mine was but i figured it was because she was a bitch xD

i dunno i'll have to read, they were fine in oblivion o.o
