What colors do you like when mixed together on an avatar? Which ones do you dislike?

For me, I'm a cool-colored kind of girl. I like blues, purples, and any other dark color. That pretty much reflects in the majority of my avatar creations. One things for sure, you won't be seeing pink in my avi at all. xD

I tend to go with whatever I feel like doing. >_> Sometimes it can be simple between two or three colours, other times complex with five to seven colours. >.> It really just depends on my mood.

I'm a big fan of cliche color combos, unfortunately...

I tend to do a lot of black/white, black/silver, red/black, red/silver/white/black, red/cyan/black, etc. But I try to execute these combos in unique ways.

I do whatever comes to mind. I don't like to repeat things. One day it will be pink as the main and one day it will be blue. One day browns and one day purple. Sometimes just 2 or 3 colors, sometimes more. Usually just 3 or 4 colors at most. I like combining different things in new ways.

I'm random. o 3o But I tend to like brighter colors. I've only done like 1 black avatar on here so far. xD

As long as it matches and flows though, I could care less about what the colors are. :3

I really like combinations of blue and orange. Blue's my favorite color, and orange is the color directly across from it on the color wheel, so they contrast nicely. I'll don other colors for certain events, such as pink in October; pink, red, and white for Valentine's Day; and green on St. Patrick's Day; as well as red, white, and blue for Independence Day (July 4 in the US).

I like blue + orange as a combination, white or black + any pastel shade... I think that the only colour I wouldn't like to use is brown! It's too dull for me. I want to make a nice avatar with green this time around, I think -- Somehow I never get a green combo ensemble.

Hm. There's actually a huge selection of different browns and greens, and the only brown I find to be monotonous at times would be regular, normal Brown. Copper, Gold (dull), Natural Brown, and everything else look interesting :P

We got an update recently that gave a good part of the shop commons lots of pastel colors.

Natural brown is awesome! It is a shade of brown that looks normal and works really well with other natural colors like green, coral, pastels, and dust...

I tend to like bright hues and high contrast color combinations, so red/cyan, yellow/lilac, etc. I like black and white too because they are easy to match with.

I don't dislike any color combinations as long as they work well with each other

I like n. brown/black/silver-white.
But thats not what I use all the time.

Pink/Gold, Blue/Silver, Orange, Green/Silver...
Pink and Gold is normally my go-to, but I've been trying to branch out. I kind of like Yellow and Black, but I end up looking like a bumble bee.

Red and Gold, Blue and White, Blue and Green, Red and Black, Black and Silver, Black and Brown, and Fire (Or Red, Orange, and Yellow or White)

Red and Gold is the hardest to pull off here. My favorites have been Fire, Blue and White/Green, and Black and Silver.

What's so hard to pull off with R/G? The items here just not complement eachother or...?

No idea. o.o Maybe there just aren't a lot of items that have both colors in them? Makes me want to make a red/gold avi now though! **CHALLENGE ACCEPTED**

Eh I kinda like the full spectrum of colors so I guess rainbow is my favorite.

Naturally, I don't know how to make an avi with less than 3 colors, so I went Red/Gold/Black. I think Red/Gold/anything else might have been a bit harder since I used a few pieces from Ira for the really detailed pieces, but Red/Gold/White would probably not be too bad either.

Ive just started here, so... But initially I am going for light colours, like blues and purples.. I dont really know whats all in the shops at the moment.

As you can tell black and blue. :)

I use various colors, but usually most blue, black, or beige with highlights of white, gold, mocha, or silver. I'm not much for warmer, flashy colors. :3

I'm surprised I never posted in here, Red and Black all the way ;)

Shades of green combined with whatever might look nice. Sometimes it's black, or brown, sometimes pink or lavender.

green/purple

Those have been the two that I've been in love with for the last few
years. They make me happy and warm inside.

I'm a big fan of the bright green and orange combo. Aside from that, something with brown.

Although, greyscale has become a contender for me now. So grey, and...other...greys?
