Food porn (beware dieters)
 

No this isn't gratuitous nudity, its food so amazingly delicious that it makes you drool. Now I love to cook but half the time what I make doesn't look half as tempting as what I see.

I really need to share all this glorious hardcore food and hopes someone shares my love of food. I haven't quite yet mastered the art of taking pictures of my meals but I haven't given up. I still strive to make those attempts an art. So without further ado,

Yeah, I'm only decent with plating my dishes for presentation purposes and could use a lot of work with doing so. But I do love to cook and bake, and in turn take pictures of my creations at every chance. :D

ouo Those are wonderful gifs. I myself am working on how to better what pictures I take of any food I make, but I could never do something as awesome as those. XD The best I have come up with are still pictures to help see the details seen only close-up, and even then they are not very good.

I hear you, that is easier said than done. I did buy a nikon but I can't figure out a lot of the settings on it for my meals.

Its a discounted Nikon L105 from last years black friday.
It's not an SLR but it isn't a point and shoot either, I guess it's a kind of in between thing?

For Christmas cookies this year we did something smiliar to that, though instead of candy canes or peppermints we used Créme De Menth candies. :3 It was sooo good.

It was good, and we made a thin layer of green frosting to go on top. xD it looked nice with the candies on top.

I wish that I had the money and drive to make amazing food at home, but often I'm just too busy. The food I make is simple, healthy, and always in portions for one (because I'm one of those forever alone types and there's nobody else for me to cook something for).
