Hai, everyone! I'm new, I literally just joined maybe 15 or so minutes ago... been getting used to the site, specifically the Avatar thing. This site was referred to me by Squid (who's also new), and it seems pretty interesting, and the people seem very nice, helpful, and welcoming, so I'm excited to become a part of the community. |

Wow, yellow is frickin' terrible. Just wondering, but is there an option to change the site color scheme to compensate for the terribly clashing colors on the white background? And maybe I'll just fluctuate between deep sky blue and cyan depending on mood or level of laziness. :P Is there also a smiley/emote button or something, or a chart somewhere where it lists all of them, like deviantART? |

Oh, yeah, I saw those ones, but also saw your Photobucket fire emote thingy and thought there were more. I also noticed in the help forum that they're going to possibly add more emotes, but I had no idea they were actually having an emote contest. That's pretty cool, I may look into that. DeepSkyBlue definitely works a lot better. :3 Cyan just doesn't contrast well with white. >w>

Yeah, I'm kind of noticing the difference between cyan and deep sky blue quite a bit... maybe I'll just experiment with colors and see what looks nicest for my signature and things like that. Your name is also a maroonish color, Arikana - that means you're a moderator or administrator, right? I'm actually doing pretty good, but a little tired... 2:16 AM here right now, but I'm just spending my time exploring Trisphee and waiting for Squid to get online, though she probably fell asleep. :P I really love the fact that this site has achievements, especially for posting in certain forums and stuff... I would hope that no one just post-spams in threads to get the achievements, but I think it's definitely a good motivator to get people to actually interact with the site a lot more, which is what I seem to be doing. How're you doing, Arikana? |

Are you new to avatar sites in general, or just our sort of system? I was the latter when I joined, but I certainly grew to love the freedom it gives. If you haven't already, please take a read through the Trisphee Site Rules! We're not too terribly strict, but I'm afraid you have broken one already - there's a two word minimum when it comes to posting, and an image doesn't very well count! Sorry to throw a little warning at you so soon, but it helps to make sure our forums aren't filled with silly little spam posts and things. By the way, Arikana is neither a moderator nor an administrator. She's part of our dedicated writing team! My fancy color designates me as an Admin Assistant, the Art Director, specifically. Administrators are purple, and moderators blue. |
I think this is the first avatar site that I've ever really been to... I've been on maybe two or three other forums in the past, and they were just basic text forums, so this is all pretty much new to me, but it's extremely entertaining and fun. Have to say that I can already see myself becoming a returning Trisphean. ^^; Also, I'm sorry for the first rule break; I probably should've added a few words to that post. I'll look through the rules right now. I hope I haven't already acquired a punk-faced, rule breaker reputation with the admins and mods, now. ;~; |
