Help?
I hope I posted this in the right place? Well um how do you scan your art?
I take pictures sometimes, depending on the picture... but I stick to a reqular scanner.
What kind of scanner do you have?
And it depends if you are working on it or just want a good quality. I usually scan at 150 dpi unless I am going to go back into it, then Its 300 dpi. Put in photoshop and start working. |
Idk I don't have a scanner idk ... I need to make it good quality.
In that case do you have a really good camera?
No its bad
What kind of camera is it and what is the highest resolution image you can take?
XD nothing is ever that bad you just have to make it work. |
1.3M Idk o.o..
Do you have examples of work that you've taken with that camera?
Yea xD.. but can't find em
When did you take the pictures ( what time of day ) and where they pencil drawings or something else?
idk they were pencil drawing yea

Okay first you arent going to get a good picture because of the low res of your camera and because graphite shimmers when you use it. But Heres some helpful tips when you take your imags so they can look better. One take the pictures with as much natural light as you can. Using light inside your house like lamps and room lights tend to have a yellow or Blue tint to it depending on the type of bulb that your house uses. Its not as strong as natural light and if you have to use it make sure you take the picture with as many lights as you can. You might have to play around with it a bit at first because it can flush out the image. especially if you add a flash to that.
Second take the image as close and as steady as you can. Because of the lighting situation the image is automatically going to blur depending on your hands. if you can't get that close with out cropping an image make sure you have the same color toned paper in the back ground beneath the image. When you take your image on a desk it can pick up in the image. When you go to adjust your contrast in photoshop it can make it harder because it will pick up the tones of the desk or what ever color you have you your back ground. What kind of image editing software do you have? |
Ill try but i don't have photo shop
you dont need photoshop for some of the basic editing things. if you have a pc I would look into a program called paint.net its a way more advanced version of Ms paint and you can do some of the things you would do in photoshop like layering and adjusting the contrast

http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/...ailor-says.png . . You could call your local library and see if they have a scanner that you can use in there computer lab. Almost every library I have been with has one of these that you can use either for free or very cheaply. . . http://i1212.photobucket.com/albums/...ilor-says2.png |
