I hope they don't raise in price
anymore. I love how things are cheap here. It's so
nice to have a community where people are not as
concerned for au or gold as other sites are. ; ;
I agree with you though. 500 does add up after awhile.

That is why I love it here so much too :) And most of the users are friendly. I can't say that lately I've felt like a part of it but oh well. Maybe it's just mother nature on the verge of bloodshed.

~_~ Worse time in the world to be a girl haha.
*hugs*
Sorry to hear that you haven't felt that happy
here lately. I hope that changes soon.
I hope to get back into the groove of things again
here soon. Been gone for like what feels like a
lifetime lol ~_~

Yes it is a difficult time of the month for me. I need to get it checked out but I haven't had health insurance since I turned 19 and I'm nearly 21. I'm worried that it's something serious. I know how it is trying to get back into sites. If ever you need anywhere to chat with someone there's my charity thread in the welcome wagon that you are aware of. Kali_Namir posts there with me regularly and a few others pop in every now and then. I occasionally peek in at your hangout to see how everyone's crafts are going ^^' Lacrymosa also has started a new hangout based on Steampunk and the like if you're into that kind of thing. If I catch you online I'll find a place you usually post to make conversation with you. I get a little zoned around 1 a.m. though because I'll get distracted by something else and then have to sign back in here haha.

Sorry for the storybook on your selling thread >.<

Hehe that is ok. I love storybooks.
Thank you for telling me about those places. I should stop
by one of them one of these days.

I really hope you can get checked out soon and it's nothing
too serious *hugs*

Thanks Sai :) <3

I'm hoping to give away some strawberry plant runners to a couple of people. I know my boyfriend's mom likes to can things so I might give her a couple.

Oooo yummy. I would love to do that. Canning.
But I don't think my husband would let me ~_~
Especially since I am a accident waiting to
happen alot of the time haha.

LOL! I'd love to get into canning too, I just don't have the necessary items to do it.

We did have the big canner pot but no idea where it
is now... I have a feeling we left it behind at the
last place we lived .... ha... ha... ~_~

Aww :c When my mom moved when I was 16 I wasn't living with her at the time. She left most everything we had at the apartment and left it a mess. She didn't get her deposit back. Thankfully though I helped her move and talked the family into getting the dresser that's been in the family for years, and a few other things.

That's good. At least you got some stuff back.
We had to leave some stuff behind... Like alot. We
had til 7am on the last day to be out and we had to
wait for 2hrs for someone to come out to help us move
the bigger stuff but we also had to drive 2hrs to drop
off some stuff so we figured it would end up being too
late for us to wait and then drive 2hrs to get to where
we were going to stay the night in the car lol. And
didn't want to be up til like 5am like we were ~_~
His dad had to wait til he was off work and done with a
few things at home to come out to help us and by then it
was like 9pm or so that he was done and then had to
drive 2hrs. ; ; So we just gave up and left our stuff
behind ;; So sad, but at least we have places to sit
still instead of having nothing like we would of if the
former owner didn't leave his furniture behind for us.

Wow that is horrible. You should have been given until at least noon to be out. Landlords are assholes these days. Not all of them but they feel entitled to be that way because they feel superior.

Saiyouri 07-13-2012 04:10 PM

•:*´¨`*:•. —¤÷(`[¤* *¤]´)÷¤— •:*´¨`*:•.

I couldn't agree more.
That was the sherifs department though. Our landlord wouldn't
work with us on paying our back rent for about 3 months in two
seprate payments or with help from the county we live in so he
filed for eviction ~_~ My husband had to be off work while he
got a sleep study done to see if he had sleep apnea and he was
unable to get a different job during then because his work
threatened to fire him if he did.. Even if it was at McDonalds..
Not like he would be working for another trucking company lol.
So we had to live off my disability checks and that didn't cover
rent, food and electric for us ~_~

Ginger 07-13-2012 04:30 PM

It makes me wonder if that's also a reason behind why our country is so far in debt. People like landlords who don't offer payment plans to pay back rent that is owed. Then, renters turn to loans so they can pay their landlords and keep their place. Yeah a lot of people take out loans to purchase unnecessary things like the latest crap everyone wants, but some people are in debt because they had to do what needed to be done at the time to hold their ground. It definitely isn't easy.

Who were once middle class people are now on the streets. It's really hard for a lot of people right now. I've been looking for work in my area for the last year and got two interviews but not hired.

I know what you mean. It's total bull.
I can't believe how bad things have gotten. And now
with the change in unemployment benefits.. Makes things
worse. Even though I know some of those people could
probably get a job if they tried but I know alot of them
don't have ones for reasons not their fault and they can't
do anything about it. ; ; My hubby's one uncle is living
with his parents even though he is a master plumber because
of how scarce jobs are for him out there.

This new health care thing is going to make it worse. Just more money out of everyone's empty pockets. I had a bad feeling about Obama before he was elected.

I don't see a problem in living with parents as long as a person is doing the best they can for themselves and helping with normal housework. As long as everyone in the household doesn't mind living together it can be beneficial. It sucks that he can't find work... the housing market is still in trouble meaning hardly any work for plumbers. I've done my research and house prices are still deflated. It's difficult to have hope when our pockets keep getting emptied, based on the decisions of the government. "Yeah, lets have everyone pay for each other's health insurance even though they can't afford to pay their mortgages AND feed their children in the same month. Good idea!"
