Dark was putting things away and directing Alexander all on autopilot until Alexander accidently touched him while they were reaching for the same object. He sort of woke up right about then and relized that Alexander was acting odd again. As Dark moved away to put the item he had picked up away, he noticed Alexander's confused eyes. 'What is wrong?' he though to himself. Then he drew the conclusion that Riley had been percieved as a threat to Dark and Alexander was just trying to check and make sure Dark was okay. So the next time Alexander drew close Dark stood still and let Alexander get as close as he needed to.

his next time by the other allotted him a perfect opportunity, adjusting the 30 pound bag of rice on his shoulder he leaned over and stole a kiss. he continued to his destination after all without a pause. he grinned to himself

Dark managed not to fall over when Alexander kissed him. Once Dark had recovered from the kiss he wonered how Alexander did it. 30 pounds of rice was heavy and yet he had still managed to kiss Dark. Dark figured he could repay the favor when he was not carrying 15 pounds of peas. Dark had been paying attention to what had been brought and noticed that not only had Riley doubled some of his food stuff, she had almost gotten five times as many potatoes as he normally ordered. Dark put the peas away and stole a kiss from Alexander when he returned to find the milk.

he was shocked to say the very least when as he bent for another box his lord stole a kiss. all of his insecurities over the woman vanished and he felt in him a swell of love for the other. he did not realize the dopey grin on his face was there as he went back to work

Between the two of them, Dark and Alexander manged to put everything away quickly. "Anything yo want to do now?" Dark asked Alexander.

he pondered the other's question for a few moments. there were several things he wanted to do though in which order he wanted to do them in he was not sure. he was growing accustomed to dark taking the initiative. 'think' he paused. ' either want to kiss you or go to the bathing-closet and urinate.' he paused again, that was not right 'no, that is not right i...i do not know what i want to do. but both are close' he looked at the other and hoped the boy had the answers

Dark stared at Alexander and wondered what could possibly be a mix between the two. Dark carefully went through all the possible options and came up with only one. Dark blushed and woundered how to tell Alexander that he wanted to have sex with Dark. "You...um... wanttohavesexwithme." Dark rushed the last part and was still blushing.

he blinked 'do i?' he thought back to the book that dark had him read yesterday, he did not think he wanted to implant dark's egg with one of his sperm and make a zygote

Alexander sounded confused which calmed Dark down a little, "That is what is sounds like unless you would like to kiss me while you are going to the bathroom." Which Dark could not say sounded any less embarrassing.

he shook his head, both of those sounded wrong. 'oh!' he said suddenly 'know, i want to do.' he derailed from his earlier line and started over. i want to eat, tell you not to sheet the couch, use your toothbrush, take a bath, not talk to the woman on the small thing and go to bed' he looked pleased with himself for figuring it out

"Ah so you want to..." Dark trailed off trying to figure out exactly what Alexander was saying. "You want to live with me and never see Riley again?" That was kind of what it sounded like, but that was not quite it.

'is it?' he thought he had it right but when the other repeated it back it sounded wrong. he bit his lip and turned away 'dark should choose what we do now instead'

Dark blinked at the sudden turn around of requests. "We could go visit that spring I told ypu about yesterday." Dark said trying to think of something.

he nodded glad that the decision was taken out of his hands 'that is a good idea'

"Thankfully it is a nice day out so no coats are needed." Dark said and opened the door. He stepped into the warm and refeshing air. Dark closed his eyes and figured out were he would have to got to get back to the waterfall. "Okay, we might want to pack a picnik lunch, the walk will take a while." Dark said having figured out estimated time.

he stood expectantly 'what do i need to do?'

"We can take the chicken from last night if you don't mind eating cold chicken and I know I saw some salad things when we were putting things away."

he nodded, it all sounded fine to him. he turned towards the refrigerator and began pulling things out, he left the dry-goods and utensils to dark.

Dark went to go find the utensils and all the things for a salad. He knew where the lettuce and tomatoes where, the cabbage would be a wild guess however.

he watched the other out of the corner of his eye as he chopped the chicken and pulled condiments from the fridge-door 'what are you looking for?' he was becoming distracted by the other's searching

"The cabbage, it is a purple vegtable. If I don't find it, oh well, no great loss." Dark took the lettuce and tomatoe and placed them in a bowl to be cut later, after he found the cabbage or after he gave up.

he nodded, he had seen something like that, he reopened the fridge and bending over dug in the back bottom of the fridge. it was pushed in the back for the two dozen eggs they brought in before, triumphantly he pulled it out and handed it over

Dark took the cabbage head thankfully. "Thanks, Alexander," And went back to his bowl to cut up the leetuce, tomatoes, and cabbage.

he went back to his own preparations of readying the chicken. after chopping it he toolk a lidded bowl from the pile dark brought over and dumped it in

Dark put all the chopped lettuce, tomatoes, and cabbage in a bowl and saw Alexander put the chicken in another. Dark then grabbbed some serving spoons. "Okay, we can either just carry these or put them in a cooler, your choice."

he bowed his head 'however you please, i defer to you' he did not intend to be so subservient but it was in his nature to please his lord and things were more pleasant when he was not left in charge. he hoped the other would continue to humor him

"I say we carry them. I don't want to mess with a cooler." Dark said with a grin. "You can just follow me, this path is easier and harder to get lost on then the one to my house."

he nodded and followed the other to the livingroom, dark put down his things and reached for a pair of shoes by the door, he handed them to aleaxander 'they are the largest pair i have' alexander put his own things down as well and put the shoes on, they were a little snug but fit well enough, he saw that the other had fished out a pair of worn tennis shoes and was lacing them up, he wondered if such flimsy shoes would be safe.

Dark laced up his shoes quickly and then headed for the door, grabbing the salad and utensils on the way out. Dark went around the house and turned around to see If Alexander was following.

he followed behind quickly. he did not want to get lost in these woods

Once Dark saw that Alexander was following Dark started down the path. It was slightly overgrown but still easy to traverse.

he was surprised with how nimbly the other traversed the path, as he himself had very little luck with it, twice he had to stop to remove stones from his shoes and only a few minutes in he tripped over a fallen branch. he came to the conclusion that he did not like this after-all and would not accept any future requests to come. his sour mood showed on his face but he said nothing

Dark turned around to see how Alexander was faring and saw him almost fall. Obviously something was wrong with how Alexander was walking. "Try walking toes first." Dark advised after seeing Alexander trip for the uptenth time, "It is easier to walk rocky paths like that if you don't mind the occasional stubbed toe."

he corrected his stance and it became easier to balance 'thankyou' he continued on, still with issues but not as badly as before

Dark was pleased to note that Alexander seemed to be improving. He still was having problems but not as much, which was better than almost anyone else on their first try. Dark stopped suddenly and signaled for Alexander to stop so that he would not bump into Dark. Dark was standing on the edge of a sudden drop off. "Carefull here, the ledge is smaller then I remember." What he was talking about was a ledge that went down into the bottom of the gorge. It was large enough for one person to walk down comfortably.

he came over to the other ignoring the pain on the back of one of his heels. looking towards where dark pointed he saw a gorge three body-lengths long and steep, the small ledge hugging the wall was only a couple inches at the most. he felt reluctant to go any farther. 'it is down there?'

"Not all the way down, just half way." Dark said. "If you lean against the wall you can tell once it turns into a tunnel. The leadge will also continue so if you miss the tunnel you'll go down to the bottom of the gorge." Dark started down the ledge.

'ah' he followed close behind the other all the same

Dark kept a careful grip on his bowl and the utensils as he made it sown the ledge. "The tunnel is soon." He said after he started recognize some of the features of the gorge.

he spared a glance for the scenery, even now with the sun weaker and the plants losing their summer luster it was easy to see the beauty of this place. he turned his head back to dark though and kept going, it would not do to break his leg over a veiw
