*huggles* She is 6 months old now ML! And it's my partners birthday tomorrow, so we'll be heading over to his mums and having Chinese take-out ^_^ Then we can finally relax until we go back over there on Christmas day...
I tend to celebrate solstice/Yule more than Christmas, but I love making/buying presents for other people ^_^ I just about managed to finish a last minute present yesterday for a friend and post it so it should arrive in time ^_^;; He is a massive fan of Tifa from Final Fantasy so I did a cross stitch of her and framed it for him ^_^ (I'll post pics later) It took me 3 days of solid stitching and my fingers are sore, but it was worth it as he doesn't know he's getting a present from me ^_^ |

tibb's eve is the 23rd of december, it's a tradition here in nevvfoundland, mostly in outport/bay communities. you basically go over to friends/families places and drink , i'm sick so i stayed home and had rum flavoured coffee. |

lol, one year I tried to stay up all night listening for Santa, let's just say I feel asleep longer before I ever heard him come. XD

Ha ha, the younger niece kept saying she wanted to stay up and see him, but we keep telling her Santa won't come unless you're asleep. The trouble is, every dang cartoon she watches has an episode where the characters wake up when Santa comes and help him with some problem, so she really wants to help Santa with something. <3

sort of but not really it's more of an excuse to drink and visit family or friends at the same time -nodnod- it's pretty fun though
