it is a very soft cheese XD a lot of people like it but i do not

Potironette 01-09-2016 09:10 AM

In that case, what's special about fried brie?

Monorea 01-09-2016 09:17 AM

It's extra melty and with most anything heat brings out a lot more of it's flavor.

littl3chocobo 01-09-2016 09:19 AM

it's melted cheese XD next to noone needs more reason than that

Potironette 01-09-2016 09:25 AM

(~_~)Alrighty then, I'm not a fan of melted cheese, but last question: Why hot melted cheese served next to dessert?

Monorea 01-09-2016 09:26 AM

Next to? It is the dessert!

Potironette 01-09-2016 09:30 AM

:o Cheese for dessert. I've always assumed cheese was either served aside just as cheese-eatig-time, and that desserts meant sweet things. I guess it's not really that way then ^_^'

Monorea 01-09-2016 09:32 AM

Dessert can be savory too!
It's a very versatile food genre.

o.o.... You guys are making me hungry, are you guys trying to find the words with this egg-selent dialogue.

Potironette 01-09-2016 03:05 PM

xD your "egg-selent" pun made me smile. I'm not trying to find words myself though. At this point, I've started taking this thread as a chat forum with bonus snowflakes. Kind of like unknowingly stepping on treasure...something like that.

Gallagher 01-09-2016 03:22 PM

that's what it was supposed to be!

Unfortunately, no more snowflakes are being given out.

If anyone needs more, I can send some over.

Monorea 01-09-2016 03:56 PM

Nah i never bother trying to find the word unless i see a hint when i am online.
And as said it's over, all over now

it's a soft, creamy cheese. You can eat it with jam or berries.

Goes well with berries and walnuts.

@Cho, without it becoming a runny mess i mean.

from what I know about baked brie, usually you put jam on top of it and then cover in in a pastry crust. The crust prevents the cheese from just becoming a runny mess.

Monorea 01-10-2016 05:15 AM

A pastry crust? Okay that sounds nice then probably should try it some time, will probably get a better result than deep frying it.

Awen Moonshine 01-10-2016 07:54 AM

Mmmm... Brie... <3

We had a cheese board last night for dinner <3 I had a whole wedge of Cornish brie to myself <3 It was so delicious ^_^ We are having the same again tonight but with Italian meats instead of Spanish, but I'll have to settle for French brie tonight unless my partner ventures out and gets me some more of the Cornish stuff <3

We are massive cheese fiends in this house <3

Monorea 01-10-2016 08:39 AM

We love cheese too, especially aged cheese 9months or more.
