Laurel suddenly too off down the hall at a quick walk.

James took the piece out of his ear as Laurel took off and quickly went to the door. He opened it and looked around, "Blaze!" he shouted in her voice, "Help!"

Blaze frowned at Laurel, and didn't hesitate to run over as James stuck his head out.

"I'll go find the nurse!" he continued in her voice before taking off down the hall.

Blaze didn't let James phase her and went inside.

Soon the nurse arrived, very upset as she immediately went over to Nic.

Blaze had something in her hand as the nurse entered. And just as she realized what Blaze was doing... yep, she had just stopped Nic's heart. "I know what I'm doing," Blaze reassured the nurse in a calm voice, "... mostly."

The nurse just about hit the roof, screeching obscenities at Blaze, "Start it back up right NOW!" she ordered.

"Working on it," Blaze said, still calm, as she got about doing just that, ripping his shirt off with her bare hands and attaching electrical nodes to his chest, leaving it to the nurse to start charging the supply.

The nurse looked a bit faint but got to charging.

Blaze pushed Yue away a little and stepped back, waiting for the nurse to do her thing.

The nurse did her thing, giving Blaze a glare.

Nic didn't come back right away. But after two attempts, he came back on the third. He was still unstable, but his brain activity was more stable. Without wasting much time, Blaze described a drip to give Nic that would help him stabilize. She couldn't make it because she didn't know where everything was.

So the nurse quickly and efficiently made the drip and handed it over to Blaze.

Blaze set it up, but made the nurse put in the needle since she didn't have any practice.

After all the chaos died down a bit, Yue slowly turned her head over to look at Nic. She looked tired.

The nurse looked over at Yue, "Welcome back to the world of the living," she said with a very tired smile before turning and glaring at Blaze again, "Don't pull a stunt like that again when a nurse isn't here with you!" she spat.

Yue blinked blankly at the nurse.

"He might have suffered severe brain damage if I had waited," Blazed replied in the same calm voice.

"... Is... alright?" Yue asked quietly.

The nurse sighed, deciding to ignore Blaze. "We don't know," she said honestly, "He was stable but took a turn for the worse. I'm going to do some blood work now," she explained to Yue.

Yue's eyes fell a little, but she opened them back up. Her body wanted to sleep, but her mind didn't want to.

"He took a specialized drug that doesn't play well with sedatives," Blaze explained.

"Sleep a bit more," the nurse advised her, "He's in good hands."

Yue still refused to go to sleep.

The nurse gave in, "Do you think you can drink something?" she asked.

Yue slowly tried to sit up, but she wasn't quite able to support herself.

The nurse supported her head as she had her sip a drink that would start to give her back her strength. "You've been out for a long time," she said, "He went down to get you out," she said, gesturing to Nic, "I don't understand his logic but it's the gesture that counts I guess."

"... When he gets on his feet... I'll kill him," Yue whispered after she took another drink.

The nurse smiled, "That's the spirit, but you have to get back on your feet first," she reminded her as she took the drink away. "Now try to rest."

Yue laid back down, but she silently continued to protest against sleep.

The nurse got a cool cloth and laid it over Yue's eyes before turning her attention back to Nic.

"A sedative, you say?" she mused as she began to take some blood.

Blaze nodded as she observed the nurse work.

"You seem to know what drug he took to begin with," she observed.

Blaze nodded. "Most likely," she replied.

The nurse looked at her expectantly as she shook up a vial.

So Blaze started describing some of the contents. She didn't appear to have a great knowledge of it, but according to some of the stuff she remembered there was more than one reason a sedative wouldn't mix well with it. It was a wonder he was still breathing at all.

"I'm not sure who gave him a sedative. It could have been one of the other nurses. It was a good thing James and you were around at the time," she nodded.

Blaze paused a short moment before nodding.

"I'm going to run this through in the lab, you'll keep an eye on them right?" she asked as she stood.

Blaze nodded to the nurse.

After a good amount of time had passed there was a grunt from the other side of the room as Kale started waking.

So Blaze went over to sit by Kale's side.

Kale yawned as he glanced around, "It's still crowded in here?" he complained.

"Hey! Laurel, where're you going?" one of the girls called out to her as she passed.

"Just gonna ride for a bit," Laurel said calmly as Amela screeched from her shoulder. She was carrying a small bag and was almost at the elevators.

Blaze nodded.
