Laurel smiled, "Good boy," she teased before kissing his lips.

"Then why are we going?" Pepper demanded.

"Because I'm making you," Rinrou's voice floated down.

"Curses!" Pepper shouted at the voice.

Farren's Work

So the groups started arriving dressed in their costumes. Farren had pulled out all the stops, the place was gorgeous with tons of alcohol and small, bite sized foods.

Laurel was looking around with an open mouth, her arm wrapped around Nic's. "It's gorgeous," she whispered.

Dalila and Akil entered in ancient tribal get up. Alala floated at Akil's side in a stunning butterfly get up. She was actually floating on the ground with the help of small hover-shoes.

"Welcome to my party," Hayden declared with a grin, coming down the stairs in a king of aces getup including a crown.

Nic sighed a little, wondering why Laurel had insisted on being the first to arrive.

Laurel spotted Akil and grinned, "Hey!" she shouted welcome to them before running over and hugging Akil. Dalila scoffed at her a little.

"Come on, Long. You're taking too long," Rosen complained, already in his lifeguard getup.

Nic hung back, not looking interested in socializing.

"... I think I need a bigger size," Long muttered back.

"Nic, come on!" Laurel waved him over before turning and chatting with Akil.

"Nope, that ones fine," Rosen stated.

Nic sighed before grabbing a snack and heading over.

"... I'm pretty sure I do," Long murmured back.

"Nic, this is my cousin Akil. Akil, this is Nic," Laurel introduced. Akil stood a towering 6'3" and was built strong but he smirked good naturally at Nic and held out his hand.

"Let me see," Rosen sighed.

Nic paused before reaching out to shake Akil's hand. He didn't appear too intimidated.

After a few more moments Long shyly peeked out. It fit him just like it was supposed to, but he wasn't used to being so cute and sexy.

Laurel was talking to Alala who was shy but calm next to Akil.

"So, you're Laurel's man, huh?" Akil chuckled.

Dalila sighed, looking around the room before walking away and getting a snack.

Rosen promptly got a nose bleed.

Nic nodded to Akil.

After a few moments, Long finally glanced over at Rosen. He jumped a little as he saw the nose bleed. "... Are you alright?" he asked.

"Okorie women tend to be a touch insane," Akil noted, glancing at Dalila who was out of hearing range, "But then again, Laurel's only half." Laurel punched Akil's arm lightly.

Rosen blushed a little, "F-Fit's fine," he muttered before grabbing a towel.

Nic didn't reply, figuring Laurel had already done that for him.

Long still looked worried. He also couldn't quite look away from Rosen either.

"Oh, Farren's coming," Laurel noted, not sounding too pleased.

"Hey, I hope you're enjoying the party. Hayden did nothing, like usual," he sighed.

"It's very nice," Alala noted.

Rosen dealt with his nose, splashed some water on his face, and then turned to Long, "C'mon, let's go."

Long pulled down on the dress before walking over to him.
