Pennsylvania. Watching fireworks in the city square of the Fireworks Capital of the World and freezing myself stiff.

PA is only supposed to be getting rain! But unless rain is white, fluffy and reflects fireworks we aren't getting rain

well it's thick snow. and the storm could be coming from Alaska/Canada region. our cold winds come from the north/west

I'm not familar with our weather patterns too much. I can tell you we have a cold front until Thanksgiving. Them we get a heat wave

so it'll melt the snow, hopefully. All I know for sure is that Black Friday will be hell and I need to work on that day

Black Friday doesn't happen here. Unless you shop on the computer because New Castle will only celebrate it if it gives us an exuse for fireworks. Black Friday does not ergo, in New Castle, it does not exist. Yes, this is a weird town

Black Friday happens here, especially when I work in downtown with tiny shops and I work at a pawn store so it"s going to be pack we just fitted in more amps on the shelves so that way we have more room to run around with our heads cut off and to add more items on the floor

Ouch. My sister works at Wal-mart a little out of town and says no one ever wants to work on Black Friday because you can literally get trampled.

yea I remember one of the Wal-Mart employees died from the stampede of the customers on Black Friday

Thankfully she manages to avoid that. I don't get why everyone has to rush to get deals when you can get the same/better deals online and not have to deal with large crowds or people.

Some people refuse to go online like my mother.

She thinks that her information will get stolen -.- And beyond that? She just won't. She's so stubborn. And you can't find everything online. Certain stores (like within...like a specific Wal-Mart vs overall Wal-Mart) have different deals due to different prices which means on their online store...it might not be cheaper than your local store.

Well some people don't have paypals and what to get shit done physically having that item than the tracking number. I wen't to Black Friday once and it was hell X( My friend dragged me to the super target for an 80 Terra byte hard drive for $80 so he got 2 of them

At least we don't open at ridiculous hours like 4 am-midnight, we open at 8 am and my shift starts at noon

You two raise good points. I still say online shopping but that is just because I hate shopping and online shopping takes the least amount of time.

Good for you. Early morning times are normally the worst from what i have heard through the grapevine.

the grapevine? and actually for pawn shop employees it's dangerous to open so fucking early because of the darkness and we need our sleep. and we are going to have all of the employees there and having a giant Nacho party for the employees

Grapevine normally means internet, people I know, police force of PA I spend a lot of time with them so I collect info from them. Opening early for anything is dangerous yet people still do it because of greed. I'm glad the shop you work at isn't like that though.

yea, and think about it the majority of the Black Friday Shoppers bounce from one store to the next buying what they afford (at that point) so they need an open time frame in which they can get their shopping needs done.

I have a feeling that a good percentage of the customers is going to be in the jewelry and paying off their loans and interests.

The only Black Friday sale I'm looking forward to is the one coming up on Ernya >.> And I'm hoping to maybe get a book and a few other items then too.

I am too, Tris is the only avatar site I really got into. It is also the site that has held my interest the longest.

To be honest, I can't call any avatar site my home so that's why I'm on multiple ones lol And it's always nice to have another site to fall back on when Tris is extremely slow x3

When Tris is slow I doodle or head back to Fanfiction.net. Other times I just camp on Tris and hope it picks back up.

I usually watch videos when sites are quiet, or play games.

Games have to be challenging for me to play them. Puzzle games are best but I will ocasionally indulge in some action/adventure games.

I hop around to bunches of avatar forums myself.

I like simcity 3000 and Zoo Tycoon for games.

I also like to read when I am waiting for the computer to load.

Yeah reading's good too.
