Rosen walked stiffly back over to his IV and then stared at it. How on terra was he supposed to get it back into him?
Long seemed to have thought of that and picked up the IV, waiting for Rosen to sit down.
Rosen wasn't looking at Long as the blush returned. Slowly he sank down onto his bed. Then he suddenly huffed, "Well it's your fault in the first place!" he stated, trying to save some face.
Long didn't take it personally as he carefully put the IV back in. Then he went back over to his bed and put his own IV back in.
"So your depression levels are going to get better now, right?" Rosen asked after he had laid down and turned to face the wall.
Long paused before asking quietly, "Are yours?"
"I was never depressed," Rosen scoffed.
Long didn't reply.
"But, man, your levels were ridiculous! You really should look into some counseling," Rosen told Long, still hiding from him and facing the wall.
Still nothing from Long.
"Are you even listening to me?" Rosen suddenly asked.
"Yes," Long replied.
Rosen was silent for a moment, "It's rude not to reply," he noted.
"... There was nothing to reply to," Long noted.
"You know... you can actually respond to comments and not just questions," Rosen spat.
"And egg you on?" Long asked. That was what he had been avoiding.
