After a moment Long barely whispered, "It's too hard."
Rosen cussed and dropped his hand away, "I never counted you as a quitter," he spat, "It's a lot easier to jump off the cliff than it is to face your fears, isn't it?" He cussed again, eyes going a little manic, "Alright then," he decided, "if you're giving up than so am I. I'm sick of this world as much as you." And he stood, yanking the IV out, and started to walk off in the general direction of the cliffs.
Long stayed sitting at the bench for a few moments before standing and grabbing the wheel chair. He caught up with Rosen before suddenly he was in front of him and pushed him back so he'd fall in the wheel chair.
Rosen twisted midair so he fell to the side of the chair. He landed with a thud before slowly sitting up, "Did I ask for your help?" he growled.
"No," Long replied simply.
"Then back off," he glared.
"No," Long repeated.
Rosen laughed cryptically, "Oh, so you suddenly care about me? Or perhaps it's just cause I'm your ticket to going outside." His entire demeanor had flipped.
"... It's my job," Long replied simply.
"What the terra are you talking about?" Rosen demanded.
"I'm still your bodyguard," Long explained blankly. "I must protect you from anyone who wishes you harm - including yourself."
Rosen stared at him dumbly, "Oh, wonderful," he muttered sarcastically, "Now you decided to do it. Well too bad, I already fired you and hired Wolfe like you wanted!" he spat, sick of this conversation.
"You never informed me," Long replied simply.
"Well I'm informing you now!" he decided, struggling to stand up.
Long nodded a little, pausing before replying, "Well, since Wolfe is present to perform his duties, I'm obligated as a bodyguard to act in his stead to protect you." He seemed to take his profession very seriously.
Rosen stared at him blankly, not believing what he was hearing.
