Well, in a way it did, Lunaryon (from this site) and I met in person a few weeks ago and I deeply care about her. However I've been in a 4+ year online relationship with someone I'm unlikely to be with in person, and I realized about a week ago that my relationship with her was really important to me, and though I had asked Luna to date me I had to go back on that since...my feelings for the other girl are so strong. I was not doing well until I actually got to talk to Luna again about it, her computer's internet was broken until today.

That sounds like it's tearing. It's a tough choice I'm sure...that is...if there's even a choice to make...the directions love can push someone make people harder to read than otherwise.

Well it is in a way...I love Luna a lot and I know that. She's a lot closer too, but when my roommate decided that he wanted to try to date the other girl...in all honesty the thought of them being intimate felt like a knife wound. I forgot that I felt this way, and I decided that regardless of the future, I needed to defend my own feelings. And if I didn't want her to be with anyone else I decided, for myself, to not be with anyone but her.

Luna and I talked about it today, and we decided to remain friends because we certainly do care about each other.
