the declaration thrilled him and lightly fondling the other he turned for more kisses. "if uriel himself came to me from his place at heaven's gate to destroy me with fire and terror for this unholy crime i would not cower"
Beginning to feel the hot breath trail away to the pale skin of his neck instead, the boy instantly barred himself for the man's convenience before finding himself leaning into softly caressing hands. "I do not believe that you would so much as bend your knee to Lucifer himself if he came to accuse you of your crime...my prince."
he could not help but quip as the lad moved under his hand. "he would approve of the crime and be jealous of the cause, the lord of the flies is the patron of unholy lovers."
He couldn't help lifting a hand to rest against the head of auburn hair as words fell from the lips and truths were told before kisses were resumed. "It is true. To find advocates for unholy love as we, he'd lay out a carpet as we entered his domain."
he halted his kissing "you sound like a godly poet my lord, or heathen cardinal, which is more suited to you? i preferred it when you were only a witchy thing with coy remarks."
"And I preferred it when I was in the line to be the duke back home, but not everyone can have what they prefer, I am afraid." The boy said in a hushed tone of voice as he leaned closer into the hand that remained close as his own slipped back from the red locks to rest on a clothed shoulder instead
he could see what was desired of him as clearly as he could see the soft gray eyes staring back at him and saying no more bent down to rest his face against the false breasts as his hand moved them further into damnation
Every morning for the days since the Prince had found out his sin he'd felt guilty for so much as setting a foot on the path to their Lord's house, but that morning he did not. He knew it was the acts they'd partaken in the night prior were to blame, but no condemn was offered by the boy, and instead simply enjoyment for the early hours were given as he waited for the other at the base of the stairs
the boy looked radiant today, like sun on snow and he was pleased to see others already looking as he met up with his beautiful wife, "i have not seen you smile so even once while you were in-the-doors, only in the garden has such a soft expression crossed your face, i am enchanted, wife"
Turning to the Prince as he approached, he smoothed his smile into something both manageable and appropriate for their morning. "I believe it suffices to say that God has shone down on me today. I am glad that his blessings have been shared with you as well." Flicking the edge of his skirt up, the boy offered a small flourish with his curtsy before straightening and stepping closer to his Prince.
his eye caught the flip and the tip of a dainty foot could be seen for the briefest moment and he blushed. when the other stepped close he was tempted to touch but knew to keep the debauchery away from his family's eyes and merely kept near as they walked. "it is strange dear wife, god is to blame for all that is good and lucifer for all that is bad and yet what is good is bred from the bad, it makes no sense that it would be so backwards"
The words left his mind spinning for a moment until he was able to grasp what his husband was getting at, and at that point he offered a questioning tilt of his head. "Our Lord has control over it all though. If he did not wish for people to learn their mistakes by following the bad before turning back to the righteous path he would not allow for people to stray from him"
he frowned at the damning words. "then dear wife, at what point are you allowed to turn from evil and wander down the pathway to heaven? your soul is forever damned"
An entirely undignified snort left him at the other's accusatory words. "I am not allowed to do so. I am afraid I am rooted in my path to hell and nothing can change the past what has already sent me on my way to the place of the condemned." A smile was offered despite the poor future he'd no undoubtedly assure himself in receiving, and saying no more allowed for the other to enter the chapel before he followed after dutifully
by the end of the sermon he had mostly forgotten his question and retained only the glimpse of the lad's foot and so went to court with thoughts of mortal sin instead of heavenly divinity on his mind
The end of mass had left him in a calmer mood than in the early morning, and that was quick to turn bitter when he met with the other ladies after the first meal. More than once he had to pull his stitches from his fabric by instruction of one of the others, and while nothing was exchanged among them he could feel the scorn lingering in the air while everyone chatted and continued their work with little to say than suggestions to him and his work
when he was freed from his duties he found himself heading for the garden, when he went inside however he found his wife already there looking put out and kneeling in the plants. "you look quite fae there dear wife, if i did not know you better i would find holy water with which to send you away"
He spoke softly as he lowered a hand to graze across the soft, rounded petals of the blueberry plant he'd visited his first time in the garden. "To dismiss the fae you need something of iron, holy water would do little good against them aside from give them a shower, my lord."
"really now?" he smirked and drew closer until he was standing almost directly behind the other. "to hear a holy man speak it anything can be driven away with holy water if it is unpure"
Drawing a hand back from the unblemished blossoms, he folded them neatly into his lap and relaxed into his kneel as he could feel the Prince squat down beside him. "That is true, but what is to say the fae are unholy? They just enjoy playing tricks on us humans, whispering secrets too. I do not believe they are bad for enjoying themselves."
lightly he leaned in and touching his nose to the soft fabric breathed in the scent of the other. "what of the unseelie? those evil fae that capture you in an unholy hunt until you die?"
The normally placid lips turned downward into a frown as he heard the words. Though he remained still as his Prince leaned in close. "They would be cast away at the words of the monk and a sprinkle of holy water. I had been referring to the brownies or daoine sidhe. But did you truly believe I was one of the Unseelie kneeling here among the flowers waiting to engage you in some sort of hunt for your life?"
"if i professed i did not know what you were or your intentions only that you are to kind to be an angel and too beautiful to be a demon what would you say?" pressing his face into the back entirely he kissed the fabric
The kisses made him feel marginally better, though he did not allow for his face to betray his sullen feelings that still filled him. "I would say that both you and your words are flattering, and that if you'd like you may assume that I am either, or neither, or whatever you'd like."
"they are and i shall, you are nothing if not unnatural, being fae suites you much more than being a man or a woman or even an angel or demon, it is strange and unholy and beautiful" he offered several more kisses. "or... maybe you are a flower"
Even he could not keep his face clean of a smile at the sweet words and soft kisses that continued to pepper themselves across his back. "I do not believe I am a flower...though perhaps one of the fae. Only, one of the seelie though...I might not be going to heaven, but it does not mean I do not have so much of a heart to kill anyone."
he hummed across the bony knobs of ainsly's back and finding a place he liked nuzzled it before resting his cheek against it. "there is more than one sort? what one can learn from a heathen is astounding. teach me more wife"
Despite himself, he could feel the smile lingering at the corners of his lips, and he could feel it working at the gloomy cloud around him. "They probably don't write it in books because it could be seen as blasphemy when some of the fae do good. But I wouldn't know if it were in books or not, I'm afraid I can't read." Clearing his throat he pushed the subject away before starting again. "There are the seelie who are happy faeries. They are kind, and help the humans with chores, and if you do a favor for them they return the gesture." Feeling the smile return, he shifted ever so slightly in an effort not to jostle the Prince from his backside. "They come out when the sun sets and only a twinkle of twilight remains in the air, since it is hard to see them then. They like to keep their prizes to themselves, so they have to hide in order to keep it safe." Bringing his hands forward into the shadow of a bush, he mimicked finding a small piece of treasure hidden among the darkly colored leaves. "The unseelie are the bad faeries, always looking for revenge against humans, even if nothing was done to them first. They arrive in the middle of the night, when all under God's zenith is dark, so they can tease, and influence travelers do do things against their will. They pull them into the air, and steal their things, and will frame the traveling ragamuffins for deeds they would have never done, like shooting farmer's livestock." Briefly and quickly he moved his hands across his chest and face and made the Lord's signs. "There are the lone traveling fae as well. They have no particular alignment, though most are inclined to be mean to people. that is, most except for the brownie. They is a delightful creature that will help women with their household chores without asking anything for return. The last kind of fae I know of is the Changelings." His smile was replaced with a scowl, which became more visible than he'd intended as the sun started to rise well past the tops of the trees. "They take human children into their faerie realms and in exchange give the parents a bewitched doll that looks like their babe, though it dies shortly after the faeries return to their realm. When they take them into the realm they make them age quickly, becoming adults so they can be their slaves. Working for them as though they are worth as little as a bent penny...Though, you can keep them away by laying iron beside the child's crib. The smell of the metal, and more so the touch of it repels them like smoke sends biting insects away."
when the boy spoke he spoke freely and the words fell from him like a river after the rain, both abundantly and quickly. he had not known these things beforehand and so said nothing, simply contenting himself to rest against the narrow back and feel the hum of the other's voice through the creamy-pale fabric. when the lad was done speaking he stilled and they both sat there in the sun breathing until he realized he was expected to say something, ".....you are wordy like the monks though i would much rather listen to you than they, thankyou wife"
The words were cause for him to turn his frown back up into a smile; If he sounded better than the monks it was a true achievement. Still, he offered no words to the Prince, and instead hummed a faint sound of thanks before he could feel a silence settle around them once more. With each breath he inhaled, his chest rose and fell, and he could feel the other still pressed close to his back, moving along with him, and it sent a wave of contentment over him. He only wished it could have lasted longer
((I went and edited the last post)) |
the boy was warm, the sun was warm and he found himself growing lax. languidly he slid his arms around the narrow waist and leaned close enough that the other was surely supporting something of his weight. he sighed. "beautiful devious wife, i have been ensnared"
He could feel the breath of the soft sigh against his back as arms encircled themselves around him, only having brought his husband ever closer. Slipping his hands over-top the ones that came to settle over his navel a soft sigh fell from him as well. "What of, husband? Was it perhaps the dust of the flowers and fae?"
the soft touch was nearly to much and he felt himself shift lightly against the lad before he thought to refrain. "no, by soft words and a day that mimics the most lovely creature under it's gaze. you bewitch me wife, i am yours"
As the other leaned closer the lad found himself just barely leaning back, though he knew he was baring most of their combined weight. Lightly he stroked his needle-numb fingers across the silky backs of hands. "Though in God's words only I am yours, but if you are willing to give yourself to me I would gladly take your allegiance." The flicker of a smile was offered as one of the hands was taken into his own before being carefully lifted, as though it were precious, and to him it was. Each knuckle was pressed softly to his lips before they grazed across lengthy fingers and returned back, only to repeat
reaching to touch the lad's ear with his lips he whispered a near-silent pledge of allegiance before pulling away and hefting the other up in his arms. he could see surprise drawn all over the pale face and offering a cocky grin led him back inside. "i have a secret to share with you, i have the key to my sister's garden." giving the lad no time to protest he headed for the women's quarters
He kept silent through their trip, only remaining still in the arms for fear that trying to free himself would cause in angering the Prince. Still, practically no time went by before they arrived at the entrance the the garden. The door was clearly unkempt, a gate that held something that may, at one point, have been considered a garden. Rusted bars were trailed with thin a brittle vines that had no doubt climbed from the flower beds over the course of only the Prince knew how many years. His eyes were set with interest, watching as the old key still fit into the rusted lock, and with a rough twist, the latch of the gate could be heard opening. He said nothing as he was brought into arms again and carried through
the garden was more derelict than he remembered but it would serve the purpose, there were walls on two sides and empty rooms across with the last section butting up against his mother's unused garden and there was no worries of the woman or any stray gardeners hearing them here. carefully he set his wife down in a ruined bed. "a fae garden for a fae wife"
Upon ones first glance at the garden it would have most easily been described as ugly, ruined, or perhaps even forsaken, and that was what the bot thought of it. Though while he was carried through to the remains of what may have been a comfortable bed for one's time in the garden, he came to see the wild aspect of it, nature having acted on its own instead of being planned. Its beauty was not cultivated, and it reminded him of another. "It is a perfectly fae place. Everything is wild, suited to fit no one who may ask for its help."
kicking off his own shoes and losing his coat he folded downwards until he was kneeling over the lad's thighs and looking down at a pretty pale face. "wild and unwilling it may be but i could tame it should i desire a more manageable garden"
Despite the close and quiet atmosphere of the gardens, he let out a laughing snort. "You won't so much as though the pruned flowers in your own, why should I believe that you would cultivate this garden?" Reaching out he placed a hand against his husband's forearm before trailing down to one of the hands he'd held in his own only moments prior, and once again he brought it to his lips. Or rather, why would I believe you would tame something so beautiful while it has charm that lures people in?"
