Talks with old friends often do that, especially if you haven't talked to them for a while. Brings back old memories. I usually feel something like that afterwards, only often without the "kind of content" part.

You should go and try to sleep. It might take a while to fall asleep anyways, with all the thoughts in your mind, but the sooner you're in bed, the sooner you might fall asleep.
