"Good, good. That means you're a good man. You know, my dad used to judge people by what foods they like, and I've found that I've never met a bad person who liked noodles." He nods seriously, and Brennan can't help but giggle between his words, "I'll be right back with your drinks." Perhaps this is usual for him...

Vincent snorts and chuckles a bit. "I've never judged by what they eat..." Though how violently they eat it? Maybe. He just smiles before looking around a bit. He always looks around a bit when he's in a new place and all. "I can see why you like this place." He says softly.

"It reminds me of home. Barely." He snorts and grins, leaning against the window and smiling off at nothing in particular. "It's the closest thing I have. And I'd rather not return to my actual home either." He shakes his head, "But don't let me ruin your fun here." He faces him again, suddenly brightening up and looking happy once more. "You should enjoy yourself here."

Vincent tilts his head a bit. "Home? He can't help but ask. Is he talking about the underground and all that? Or before that? He has no clue. "Ah....alright then." He won't ask about that one then. If Liet wants to talk, he can, if not...well, he won't push it. He smiles, chuckling a bit.

Liethell smiles back and Brennan returns with a cup of water and a cup of tea, and he sets them in front of both gentlemen. "Your food will be done in a few moments!" He beams and trots off. Liethell remains still, his eyes closed and just breathing in the scent of the restaurant..

"Thank you." Vincent says softly when the drinks are brought over and all. He just sips at his tea, looking around at people and things, kind of like a child, but that's the way he's always been in new places. Even without the need to know his surroundings for safety and all.

"What're you watching Vincent?" He smiles. Those dead eyes of his suddenly snap onto his face as if the cataracts that cloud them were never there. "There's always strange people here, it seems like. We're not exactly on the high end of town, but I never expected there'd be so many weirdos." He laughs. He doesn't seem to be all that correct, though. The restaurant seems to be filled with perfectly normal people--Liethell and his gender ambiguity is probably the weirdest thing there.

"Everything? Nothing in particular?" Vincent isn't sure which to tell the truth at this point. He snorts, laughing a bit at Liet's choice of words. "Um....no offense...but I think you're the strangest person here from what I'm seeing so far." He says smiling. "So I wonder what that says about me." He says snorting again.

"We're both particularly strange." He grins, his sights set on some point out the window, or maybe nowhere. "But you notice, everyone else is weirder when you listen to them. Sometimes when you watch them, but I don't see much around here." He grins.

Vincent shrugs a bit. "I never claimed to be anything near normal." Though he might pretend to be once in awhile. "Yeah, but sometimes you find people like yourself." That makes a person feel somewhat normal.

"It's hard to find people like yourself." He smiles at the air in front of him. "Have you met people like yourself Vincent? With your powers, in your situation?"

Vincent just sips at his drink. He shakes his head a bit. "I never have." He says softly. That's another reason he was always moving, he was the only one and he'd always end up hurting people.

He nods quietly, "Yeah, it's hard finding people like yourself. Thank goodness for it though, how boring would it be to find someone just like you." He smiles, "Though, I've seen it happen. Someone down below has the ability to create almost perfect replicas of people."

"Yeah....but it would've been nice to have help before now." Vincent says softly. Maybe then he could have moved around a lot less, though that never happened obviously. "Ah....I don't know how I feel about that." It sounds a bit creepy to him really.

"It can't be helped." Liet shrugged, though he hopes whatever Vincent's story is, his powers didn't isolate him too much. If he had a dollar for every young adult who walked into the Underground who had isolation and abandonment issues, he'd buy a country.
When he hears his concern about the cloning, his grin widens. "Oh don't worry. He doesn't do it too often anymore. Or maybe he does it more discreetly. I haven't seen any clones running around. Then again, I can't see." He can't hold back an obnoxious snort at his own joke...

"Yeah, that's true." Nothing can be changed now. Vincent's past is now his past and that's how it will stay hopefully. In his past, Vincent would try to be social, but every time he'd hurt someone, he'd stay away from people for longer and be less social when he did finally start to be social again. He snorts a bit, shaking his head at the joke. "Well, if I see one of you, I'll make sure to let you know."

"Please do. I'm fairly sure that having multiple me's running around is going to be pretty destructive. The gay bars will be flooded and gay men everywhere will no longer be single." He barely suppresses a snicker. Brennan comes back with two plates, and he places them each on front of Vincent and Liet. "Will that be all?" He beams at them. Liet nods, and off he goes.

Vincent can't help but laugh. "But what if there are so many of you that there's not enough gay men?" Would it be a Liet orgy or something then? He's still laughing a bit at the thought. It's just too funny for him really at this point. "I'm now imagine like...an gigantic number of you." It's funny to him.

(just a heads up, but spring semester is starting up and I'll be a little bit slow!)

"There would be a massive orgy." He nods, as if he's already thought this through. "I'd probably join it. I hate to sound narcissistic, but I'd totally bang my clones. Who knows better how to turn me on than me?" He beams. "You know, if you're into gangbangs though, I could probably have something arranged.." There's that smile again. One would even call it a hit eating grin...

(Ew. School. -hisses-)

Vincent just tilts his head, staring at Liet, before he starts laughing once his brain can finally start working again. It doesn't really surprise him once he works through that. Liet having sex with Liets. Seems very possible if there were enough of him. He stops laughing at the gangbanging. That's when just stares flatly at Liet. "No." That's it.

(I'm alright with it. I'm in college, so it's not nearly as horrible as high school.)

"No gangbangs, got it. That's one of my kinks, so I thought I'd ask. The more dicks the better, you know." He sips his drink like it's the most casual dinner conversation he's ever had. Someone offers him a weird look, but he's either blind or ignores it.

Vincent just stares at him, trying to say something, but nothing is coming out at this point. After awhile, he regains the ability to talk. "Never really did anything of that nature..." Considering his lack of socialness and his fear that he'd hurt someone...he personally thought it would be safer not to do things with people.

(I liked high school .-. But I think that's because I hate driving :D)

"It's great! If you know what you're doing. Regardless of what anyone tells you, you can actually poke your eye out with dicks." He nods sagely. Yes, indeed. "The fun thing is the snacks they give you before. Well, if you attend a sex party, they'll probably feed you snacks. At least, the good ones do. Have you ever had an orgy?" The awkwardness deepens. There's a grin plastered on his face, like he knows exactly what he's doing, but he speaks as if it's dinner appropriate conversation.

Vincent jsut stares at him, turning bright red. He makes a strange noise of his as Liet continues on, his poor brain can't take all of this at one time. "Why?" Why must Liet talk about these things? And in public, that makes it a bit worse. "No! Why would I have? I would probably fry someone or something." He's making this horrible face, unable to help it at this point.

"Hey, I don't judge." He holds up his hands, still grinning. "You look sweet and vanilla, but you could be into some hardcore BDSM for all I know. There's a whole underground culture that's into electricity during sex. You could be a rock star of electric sex there if you really felt like it." He snickers a little bit.

"People can do whatever they want...I'm not into that." At least to his own knowledge, he isn't. "I don't trust people to do that to say the least and I'm not into frying people personally." During sex or during anything to tell the truth. He just lays down his head on the table.

He starts laughing harder, and Vincent feels a gentle hand rubbing his shoulder. "Don't take it to heart! I'm only half serious! Mostly, I'm pulling your leg. But it is good to be confident in your sexuality and to know what you like and dislike too." He wags his finger, still grinning.

Vincent just makes a bit of a noise as Liet laughs even more, though he does, kind of, lean into the touch a bit. "Yeah, but that means half of you is serious..." And that's kind of scary in its own right. He just shakes his head a bit. "I was more worried about shocking people than doing that kind of thing." He says softly. It seemed more important to not kill someone instead of having sex.

"Of course I'm half serious." He leans forward on the table, grinning at Vincent. He doesn't move his hand. "I don't make it a secret I think your hot and want to get into your pants. And lets be fair here--you can't let your powers limit your life like you have been. It's not going to hurt me, and sexuality is something that nearly all humans need to express. From my point of view, all signs point to us boinking one another." He wiggles his eyebrows. If this is his definition of flirting, it's absolutely ridiculous.

Vincent feels the blush creeping up on his face already. It'll probably be there for awhile. "Believe me, I have noticed, just a little, that you want in my pants." Though he does think Liet is attractive, he's just one to move slow. The ability to fry people can do that to a person. He snorts at Liet's words, not sure if he's embarrassed as hell or wants to laugh. He's not against the idea as long as no one ends up fried or anything.

He looks like he'll say something, but he starts laughing before he can get it out. "I-I'm sorry, it's just-you're so flustered that it's funny!" He laughs. His food is forgotten now, he's focused on Vincent and laughing.

Vincent just looks so unhappy when Liet starts laughing. "It's not funny!" At least it isn't to him, and he doesn't get how it is funny either. "Stop laughing at me!" He's kind of pouting though he doesn't realize it yey.

"I'm not laughing at you, no, not at, you're just too adorable! I almost can't believe you exist!" He grins and tries to stifle his laughter. It comes out looking like a childish grin instead.

Vincent still looks unhappy as he looks at Liet, deciding whether he wants to believe his words or not. "I'm not adorable." He kind of mumbles. He doesn't understand how Liet thinks he's adorable or anything. He doesn't see it at least.

"You're so adorable." He beams at him, "And not in a sexual way either, you're just adorable. Did you need a box for your food, by the way? I don't want to stay too long and bore you." He leans on the table, staring off at the wall behind Vincent.

Vincent just shakes his head, not seeing the adorable part. Not many guys just accept being called adorable. "I don't think you can bore me...though I do need a box..." With how Liet acts, he doubts he'll be bored any time soon.

He grins and glances around at nothing in particular. Or maybe he is looking, it's hard to tell. "Mind helping me find Brennan?" The boy in question is not there, but there's a gaggle of waiters and waitresses crowded around the entrance to the kitchen. It's hard to tell what they're looking at, but they're too far to call to...

Vincent just watches Liet a bit. "Um sure...." He looks around a bit. "I'll be right back....see if I can find him." And part of him is a bit curious about what's going on anyway. He can't resist all of his curiousity and all. He gets up before starting to pad over to the gaggle of waiters and waitresses.

Liethell nods and lets him go. As he approaches the crowd, Vincent notices they're huddled around a door. It's cracked open slightly, and he can see the restaurant manager speaking with two burly looking cops, their eyes covered with reflective sunglasses. One of the cops notices him, and grins at him with all the love and warmth of iron bars in winter. They do not look like the safe sort of officers. The manager's speech is muffled by the chatter of his customers inside, but he can catch words like 'cooperate' and 'warrant' and 'searching my customers'. He's not a tall man, but he looks even more nervous and frightful and small in front of these officers.

The cop just scares Vincent, him paling a bit. He doesn't know what they're here for, but that cop....well....he's scary. And cops normally don't scare him. Most of them are alright. Some aren't, but that's people in general. He catches a bit of it before he goes back to Liet. "Um....I think we should go now." He says softly to the other. He's got a bad feeling about this in general. If it wasn't for the cops themselves, he probably wouldn't be like this. There should be no warrant or anything out for him...to his knowledge.
