I know I wasn't nearly as affected by the loss of the site as some where - but I am trying to look on the bright side.

I think the initial shock is wearing off. At first, I was upset, but now I'm just apathetic even though 5 years of history (and junk collecting) just went down the drain. It was fun while it lasted.

That is true. I was definitely surprised, but I never got angry. I had just started getting into the site again, so I didn't have too many items in my inventory. Plus, I found this place and I'm totally digging the avatars. Everyone is very nice and I am enjoying the small community.

The main reason why I join avatar sites is to talk anyways. As long as I have somewhere to talk, I am happy. :)

Collecting things is just a side hobby. ;D

I've heard rumors, but NO ONE was told what was happening and now it's just gone. =(

no idea, they just closed down super fast. it reeks of lawyer intervention tho' they were hushhush and gave users no warning then when they put it back up for goodbyes it was only for a few hours then they wiped all trace of themselves

I've been gleaming some clues as to why we lost Ernya.

According to some of the insiders that worked on the backend there was a BLEEP amount of drama.

"Emy and Prezrok drama. They got divorced sometime ago, maybe a year? Prez is engaged and Emy is seeing someone else now and moved to Finland. OAO; A lot of us think Emy is too proud to ask for help, and has some trust issues."

Divorce drama is the worst.

I've seen it happen to friends. And it almost happened to myself as well.
