But you are a cute face, Bunny-Suze!
*Hugs bunny* |
....Balls. Must be a hotlink thing.
|
...Apparently that one image is broken. Strange.

And I can't possibly imagine why that would make you think of me, Espy. :D Also: in the process of reading Le Morte d'Arthur, he keeps using the word "espy", which makes me do a double take each time. :P |
*Laughs*
*did not realize that - haven't gotten to that one yet/have been focusing more on the background myths around Arthur than Arthur's own tale* Long Live Sir Espy! |
Oh, no, I don't mean it's the name of a character, it's a word. As in, "Merlin then did go seeking the king, and did espy him by yon fountain."
Also, I know it's my turn. Will post as soon as I've been able to sleep enough to gather the requisite brain energy. |
Take your time - I'm a-driving home tomorrow, and won't be on.
|
So...I'll be trying to set up Skype this weekend...
|
Capital!
It's not very hard to do so, luckily. |
I'll excuse Dante's lack of interest in Lev by way of thundering headache and general confusion and disoriented-ness.
|
It's my turn...
I'll write after I am finished packing... Kadia, sensing the gun-toting man, blanched. Almost without warning, her impulse starts spinning a firewheel, about to send it towards the presence radiating of burned atmosphere and gorged on toxins. She kills the impulse, recalling that Dante and the priest were now vulnerable. Mentally, she commands Rurik to stop his charge and fall back from the possessed Lev. |
You know, I was wondering -- if, through that processes of resurrection, the body is transformed into the "perfect physical representation of the spirit", wouldn't personality flaws be manifested as physical defects?
|
Not necessarily since the spirit is sort of a raw essentiality of the self which is given definition by the experiences of the mind. Only powerful souls can develop conscious minds to survive divorced from the body. Consequently, body-hopping is a terribly inefficient means of immortality unless the soul is powerful enough to just use the body as a puppet and has no need for the brain to produce consciousness.
|
...or insane enough...
Why does that sound familiar... Ever read The Necromancer? |
I...uh....think you might have missed my point there. I'd attempt to explain, but sleep should be had and my head is about to implode anyhow.
