I got on Diablo 3 the other day and pushed to get my Wizard to 60. I haven't tried increasing the monster level yet...sounds scary.

Well I'm level 37-witch doctor...act 4 normal monster level 10 is still hard.

Seems a bit different than Diablo 2, where I could sail through normal mode on x8 even without hand-me-downs.

I never messed with Diablo 2's settings or anything XD

I always played online though.

I haven't even tried messing with the Monster Level yet.....waiting until I get a bit more bold.

Well, if you have made it to nightmare...Act II (the parts I've played) aren't hard on monster level 10

I'm on Nightmare fighting Belial right now....I get him down to the final quarter of his health and get killed every time.

I'm in Act I still on Nightmare. My brother rushed me a bit and now I AM SCREWED D:

I'm on my level 40 something Wizard.....it is challenging me and making me rethink my strategy....I'm actually adapting some of the stuff I use on my Demon Hunter.

I'm a lvl 37 Witch Doctor. -runs in circles while summonings kill things and die-

Oh, fun fun. I enjoy the ranged as well, but DH and Wiz are my preferred....tried the Witch Doctor, and not so much to my liking.

I love the witch doctor. For some reason, I was higher level then recommended and I still was having problems with diablo until I did the...run in circles and let the minions kill him.

I really enjoy ranged, DH and Wizard really are my favorite. I do enjoy playing the other classes as well...just haven't been in a hurry to level them up.

Demon Hunter is my second favorite, but in my mind, witch doctor has the best advantage against diablo, when it comes to the cages and all because they can keep moving while other stuff does the damage you know? Other classes have to stop somewhat to do damage .-.

Eh, that's why I use the Hydra as one of my spells as a Wizard. Helps me keep moving. I also enjoy using Archon form (or whatever it is called) with the teleport rune so I can hop around a bit and keep my distance.

But the hydra stays in one place while Diablo comes after you though, doesn't it?

It does, why the circle is smaller....

Cause I run around the outer circle. That's the reason I won. Until the final step that it...then it doesn't matter...or is it the stage before final? I can't remember.

Finally downed Belial on Nightmare....

Act I is a challenge, but just wait until Act II.....

The final few "bosses" aren't really that hard....just take a bit of creativity. The Butcher is the hardest out of them if I remember right.

The Butcher was the easiest. I play witch doctor, just move when the floor turns red. It's the others that are harder, not Maghda mind you, but Diablo? Hard...because my summonings don't last too long against him and THE CAGES D: I hate those things the most.

Well, at least that's a ways away and will be a bit off. Have time to get levels and better equipment.

And I found the Skeleton King harder than the Butcher...at least on normal. Now I'm not stuck with the templar. XD

I still use the Templar as my main follower, since I play primarily as ranged, it helps to have him tank a bit and keep them at a distance.

I'm a Witch Doctor. I'm ranged too. I prefer the Enchantress. With her confusion thing that makes a monster fight for me. I find the templar useless because his healing doesn't do anything really for me. Which is why I originally liked him until I realized that he never heals pretty much D:

Eh, he does for me. Guess it's a random generation thing, eh? It's all a matter of personal preference.

Well, I think they changed when he heals now...instead of like below 25% away (which was useless for me) it's once you hit 50% and it heals both now I believe. Now it's actually useful, now that I don't like using him -.-

True....forgot about the patch changing a bit more.

Honestly, I tried the enchantress for a while, and don't quite have an affinity for her assistance. Scoundrel, never tried......

I never tried with the Scoundrel either. Especially since I was originally a demon hunter....so I had enough ranged XD

Yeah...just seemed like overkill with not enough to really help protect with him there......now with my Barbarian or Monk....will have to toy with that some.

I'd probably stick with the Enchantress no matter what-she seems to last longer than the templar.
