Dark sat down at his computer and finished his work quickly, it was rather easy. All he did was monitor a couple corporation's bank accounts and make sure no one was stealing from them. Sometimes the perpertrator actually masked their sent but usually they assumed no one checked the acounts daily to watch the balence. Dark after checking his normal two for after diner went to where Alexander was and saw him reading the book. "Is that the one that kidnapped me and returned us here?" He asked.

he looked up blankly. he did not register the words spoken instead he stood, leaving the book on the couch he came over to dark and cupping the boy's face in his long fingers gave him a chaste kiss. he stared hard into the boys eyes and did not let him turn away. the blush told him as much as a thousand books. 'you do not know it yet but you love me.' he read it clearly, the pages all spoke of it. 'and i love you' he dropped his hands to the others chest were his crystal still lay. 'i am meant to love you and noone else. even if i knew how i could not. i will never leave you' he smiled then, sadly. 'i was a fool not to see when it was put in front of me and i would be a fool not to see now that i know how to look.' he went to his knees then, as he had when his life reset and began to be lived for this one beautiful soul. he took his lord's hand and kissed it. three kisses three wishes and one meaning behind them. he understood now where he stood, where they stood. he understood everything now

Dark was suro\prised at Alexander's forwardness, that did not mean he was not enjoying it slightly though. Dark knew that if it had been left to him it would have fallen flat and flailed. Dark knelt with Alexander and wrapped his arms around him, words would not do at this time. Dark hoped that his prensence would be enough of a reassureance that Dark was aware of his attraction to Alexander even if he was not sure it was love yet.

he reveled in the contact the other offered him, he accepted that this was his answer and that no words would ever cross over to him, but he was ok with this, though he had words in abundance himself he understood now that the other was a man of actions and would probably never have need to change. he was alright with that.

Dark felt the calming presence of Alexander and was glad to see he did not need words. He knew Alexander was a man of words, pun not intended, but he himself was not. He felt content to stay there for a while more but wondered idly if Alexander wanted to move or not.

'if you would like' he said not realizing the words were thought, not spoken, by the other male

Dark looked up shocked yet not at Alexander, "You can hear my thoughts?" That should have been disturbing or revolting but Dark was not feeling anything like that. Dark looked back and remembered several times something similar had happened but he had brushed it off as coincidence. Well that certainly made communication easier.

'am i not supposed to be able?' he was confused, he had done it on several occasions prior to this one, or was it that he did it outside of the book, maybe the lines of communication was one of the things lost. he wondered briefly before dismissing it, he would not make anymore mistakes. 'or is it that i should not listen anymore?'

"It is not a common gift amoung thos eon earth to be able to read each others mind. And your welcome to visit my thoughts anytime." Dark said. Then relized what he had said, "Unless I specifically request you not to." Some things just don't need to be shared.

he nodded. 'that is fair, and you may read my book any time you would like.' he shifted into a standing position pulling the other up too. 'but it is late now, are we to sleep or is there something else to be done?' he looked down at the other

Dark shrugged, "There is nothing much to be done now except the human rituals we do before we sleep. We brush our teeth, shower, and take care of any other needs." Dark then remebered the fact he had only one bed, "And I'll grab sheet for the couch, you get the bed." Dark might have told Alexander that before but he did not remember now.

'teeth shower and bed' he repeated. pausing for a moment he asked 'why does the couch need sheeted?' the other things he understood but the sheeting of the couch was new to him

Dark blinked at Alexander then said, "It's a fold out couch, similar to a bed. I have to put sheet on it like a bed because you can't fold it up with sheets on it. The sheets will keep the person warm it's a cold night."

now he was lost. "but why fold out the couch and sheet it when there is already a bed?" hhe felt so ignorant, every time he learned something he across two more things he had yet to understand

Dark froze and his mind blanked repeating to him over and over Alexander innocent query. How wouls he explain the whole two people, two beds thing to Alexander? "Umm..." He wasn't getting anywhere his mind was broke right about now, :Good question."

he nodded. it was impractical to sleep on the couch-bed when the actual bed was already made. he disentangled himself and made for the bathroom. 'i am happy the matter is resolved'

Dark watched Alexander go and then shook himself out of a stupor. His mind was stuck on Alexander and same bed though. Then his brain caught up to what Alexander had said and his mind flatlined again. This was going to be hard but if Dark did it one step at a time and just focaused on brushing his teeth it would all work at. Dark snorted as he entered the bathroom he was deluding himself.

(and now i get to gross out everyone in the room)

he was just in the middle of brushing his teeth when the other came into the bathing closet. 'dere is onry one toofbrush, you mus' wait pleahse" he said around the handle sticking from his mouth. going back to his brushing he missed dark's incredulous stare

Dark gave Alexander a incredious stare but the rolled his eyes. One toothbruch, really? Dark knew that he had a whole stash of them on top of his medicine cabinet. "Okay just be sure to wash it off after you use it otherwise it gets groddy." Sure at first it had freaked him out but then he had remembered that Alexander probably had never come across hygeine in his book before.

he nodded. it would not do to leave a mess. he finished spat out the frothy paste and washed out the bristles. capping the paste he handed the brush to dark and slipped by him to find towels.

Dark looked at the brush and grinned. He placed the bruch back on the counter and grabbed another one, tomorrow he would explain personal hygeine. Dark brushed his teeth and woundered what Alexander was looking for.

his search for towels was not sussesful so when dark finished his brushing and poked his head out of the door alexander took the opertunity to inquire. 'i cannot find towels, where are they located?'

Dark relized he kept his towels in a wierd place when he bent down and removed a large towel from the wall behind the sink. "It's a false wall that I built with the house because I need a bit more storage space. If one of the walls feels empty don't bang on it to hard it is likely to be the same way." Dark handed the towel to Alexander and in doing so relized that Alexander would need soap and shampoo. "Shampoo is one the rack in the shower soap in underneath the washclothe. I'll go wash more of them but hte one in there is currently unused."

he looked blankly at dark. 'so do we share it or do we wait until more towels are clean?' his knowledge of bathing was limited but even so he knew that it was standard for every one to have their own towel

"I have more clean towels." Dark said, "I was talking about cleaning the wash cloth." Dark purposely ignoring Alexander's first statement under the idea that Alexander was just confused on bathing ettiquet.

'i see, forgive me' he nudged past dark to pilfer a second towel from the hidy-hole behind the sink. se saw that there were indeed several more towels, he chose a yellow one

Dark smiled at Alexander's choice of yellow towel and kept the blue one in his hand as he walked out the door. "Careful not ot take to long." Dark warned, "The hot water heater will then run out of hot water and you'll freeze while taking a shower."

he frowned, this was odd 'where are you going?'

"I'm going to leave so you can take you shower in privacy." Dark said.

'no, wait. that is, would you help me wash my hair?'

Dark took a glance at Alexander's hair, "Sure."

he sighed in relief, he did not wish to be left alone. he untied his hair from it's ponytail the already long locks lengthened by several inches

Dark was amazed at how much hair Alexander had, no wonder he need a hand taking care of it.

'um..' he started, 'i do not know how to operate the bath' he felt embarrassed

Dark stepped forward and turned on the shower, "There you go, the left nob is for cold water, the right one for hot water."

he nodded then began to strip, his hair shielded him mostly from view but a thigh or a shoulder occasionally surfaced in the auburn ocean, he slipped behind the curtain

Dark suddenly relized that he had turned on the shower and to help Alexander wash his hair in the shower, Dark himself would have to be in the shower. And Dark tried not to think to much about the fact both of them would be in the shower together.

he leaned out from behind the curtain. the other was still standing there with an odd look to his face

"I'm coming in soon." Dark said when he saw Alexander's head peak ou tof the curtain. Dark qickly stripped to his underclothes and stepped in behind Alexander.

he did not understand why the other felt compelled to remain dressed, it surly could not have been comfortable. he shrugged it off accounting it to the same oddnes of the other wearing his underwear at the small pool as well. he held out a long swatch of his hair and watched as the other lathered it with the shampoo. suds blossomed throughout the mass as dark concentrated on cleaning it. alexander watched him with a fond smile, the other looked so serious. he felt pleased to be so important
