After a fourth attempt to stab, he drew the spear backwards, using one hand, and tossed the spear behind him. At the same time, his other hand drew the prisoner's knife, moving to try to parry her sword while riposting with a fist to the sternum.

Funkduder jumped back, remembering the teaching of one of his former masters... A true jujitsu user never takes the enemy head on but manuevers around the opponent, making vital strikes to throw off the balance....and then...you throw.
