aw, it's ok, witchchylde.
*hides my wordcount widget in my sig...* |
That word count widget seems like a fun idea. I'll have to get one for my sig when I can get around to it.
|
i quite like the widget. you can add other things to it, like the percentage complete, how many days... and there's other types of widgets, like a calendar that color codes your word count for each day.

Oh wow. Yeah that's pretty cool. I remember the little games people would add to their MySpace profiles. I tried going to the site a couple weeks ago and it's blank. I had playlists on there of newly discovered music and that's all I used the site for.

i haven't been on MySpazz in like forever....(well, hubby calls it MyWasteOfSpace...)
|
It basically became a waste of space after 2009.
|
hmm, good point.
|
Apparently Justin Timberlake bought it and that's why he was almost always on the front page. Figures.
|
yeah, that makes sense. i don't pay attention to stuff like that... especially if i've stopped using a site...
|
I looked up information about the downfall of MySpace. Curiosity for me leads to research, and scoping out answers.

Seems to be the best way to solve curiosity. Curiouser and Curiouser.

as long as i don't find myself down any rabbit holes.... XD

When they re-created the website after Justin Timberlake bought it, I checked out the new design and stuff. It seemed pretty cool, but it's definitely specifically a music-focused social networking site now, whereas old Myspace and Facebook were both pretty general in theme. Being niche is good, but it also means it'll never have as wide an appeal as it used to and as Facebook now has.

Eh, it is in some ways but like how Trisphee is a niche community they struggle to stay active. I have no doubt the Myspace is barely breaking even or not making over 20% profit.
