My job is all around retail people I think....well I see people stocking shelves all the time is that retail? My job is more advertisment since what I do is promote a product for a day pretty much.

ouch yes from what I can see of a cashier's job it does suck. I'm always thankful to happen on a cashier though that doesn't have a doom and gloom aura and especially happy to meet a cheerful one. I'm naturally a cheerful person so when I come to them all happy they're like *evil glare* yipe o__o;

Exactly. I have to listen to the stories from my friends. Expecially the one that's a Walmart cashier.

I actually got fired because a lady with 2 baskets full of stuff got pissed and complained that I helped a guy with 1 item instead of her. I had to leave or I would hit overtime because heaven forbid I'm there 30 seconds longer than I'm supposed to be.

Damn, what's with all the bad stories I keep hearing about the job? I get it from my friends as well. It's screwed up and something should be done about at least some of teh conditions. Employees should be a team in the first place! >[

yeah its not how it works though people think because you're a cashier you're automatically lower and dumber than they are

D: YEah I know Zaoki, It's terrible. I actually told someone to lay off a cashier once because he came to a ten item line with an entire cart full of stuff and got ticked when she sent him to another line.

@Jitterbug: Juri or Juju works fine for me. I prefer the second to be used by my friends only which you sure fall under that ^^

@Zaoki: huh...I was reminded of how the movie employee of the month with Dane Cook makes cashiers higher than everyone else.
