"He wouldn't exist with out us...it's like having a kid." Red groaned. "Oh my God...I'm gonna be sick."
He lowered his hands. "...They're making another one." He said. |
"Since Kayen escaped and committed mass murder, they consider him contaminated," Quarrel mumbled, watching the other and slowly reaching out to rub his upper arm. "If they find him, they'll dispose of him."
"No!" Red sat up suddenly.
"Careful!" Quarrel cried, sitting up and pulling Red against himself. "You're still weak..."
"I don't care, get these outta me!" Red started to pull at the cords and wires.
"Red!" Quarrel gasped as he tried to grab the other's hands. "You're going to hurt yourself!"
"They're gonna kill him!" Red burst.
"And you're not going to live either if you don't stop!" Quarrel cried, falling back against the wall and wincing as he hit the back of his head.
"It doesn't matter, they're using us!" Red pulled out a few of the IV's and his blood began to run freely onto the sheets.
Sucking in a deep breath, Quarrel pulled himself to his feet and weakly stumbled over to the glass.
"Let us out!" He cried, pounding on it. |
"NOW!" Red shouted pulling himself up and leaning against the wall to bang on the window as well.
After a few moments of no response, Quarrel readied himself for the shit storm and pulled his tail back, slicing at the glass.
He cared deep scratches into the crystal as his tail flicked.
On the other side, the scientists began to scatter.
"Q, break - the - GLASS!" Red shouted.
Taking a few steps back, Quarrel flicked out his wings and began to beat them quickly.
He used the full force of his weak body and flew forward, giving one quick slice of his tail. The glass cracked and shattered around him as he flew into the observation room, stumbling a bit and landing heavily on his front. |
