That sounds fun DK. I could do the same thing with the stuff list that I have for my hypothetical apartment. I like making lists. No check mark stamp though, but I figure I'll have something like one. I use excel for lists right now.

How old is your son, Ath? Any particular interests he have?

My nephew is about 4 months old. I'm getting him a magnetic wood block train set since my sister wanted a set of wood blocks, and I thought the alphabet train was a neat thing. He can't swallow the pieces or anything, and even if he is a little young for it he probably won't grow out of it fast.

There's nothing wrong with being picky about the things you want.

Edit:
My son is going to be 4 in February. He loves playing games and loves to learn, so I'm wanting to get one of the kid tablets for him.

He also likes pirates and super heroes. So I have gotten him something pirate themed already. It's not gifts in general I'm having trouble with, it's deciding on the tablet to buy for him.

i make my lists with open office

i still need to get a stamp

Quiet Man Cometh 12-01-2012 08:00 PM

Not sure if you have a Michael's down there but they are pretty good for cheap stamps. The usually have a discount bin somewhere with cheapos, or you can carve one with an eraser. Just draw the patter you want on the eraser, and cut away everything but the thing you drew. A check mark is a simple shape so it shouldn't be too hard to make one.

i'll need a old pink eraser .. might have one sitting around somewhere .. mm...

not gonna use my good white ones xD they work soooo good <3

Did some more Christmas shopping, or rather, did some of mom's Christmas shopping since she's never ordered anything from online before. More stuff to wrap and put under the tree. :)

Fauxreal 12-01-2012 11:25 PM

I still need to put up the tree ~ I know - it's sad.

Quiet Man Cometh 12-01-2012 11:27 PM

We don't have a tree either. We typically have/had a real tree, and if you put it up too early it doesn't last.

Fauxreal 12-01-2012 11:29 PM

We haz plastic. I think we pretty much had plastic growing up as well. And if my posts get more stupid that usually I'm freaking pass out tired.

Quiet Man Cometh 12-01-2012 11:31 PM

I'm tired too. It's not that late but I've taken to napping in the afternoon for a bit with my anemia so it might be time for that.
