Robin shook his head tucking his hands into his lap. "I have been at work mostly. I think each time she came I might have been out." He used one hand to push his glasses back on his face. "What else does she cook?"

littl3chocobo 07-09-2012 10:49 PM

it made sense. "pretty much anything south of the mason-dixen line and east of texas, do you like fried foods?" he ladled soup into the bowels and brought one over to his roommate, "it is hot, let me get you a spoon"

Poggio 07-09-2012 11:15 PM

He looked a tiny bit troubled. "I do but not to much and not too spicy. It will feel like a rock in my stomach if I eat it to much." Leaning forward he blew at the edge of the bowl making crescent waves in the chunky soup. "Thank you for cooking for me."

littl3chocobo 07-09-2012 11:21 PM

pulling ut the silverware he grabbed his own bowl to bring over and gave robin his spoon. "...robin, about before. do you really like me or did i misunderstand? because, well, i like you rather a lot but i don't want to overstep myself... actually i didn't even think you were gay"

Poggio 07-09-2012 11:29 PM

He found himself turning crimson and moved quickly away from the bowl, tucking his hands back in his lap once more. "We haven't really talked before have we..." he let out a nervous giggle. "I... don't want to pry but... I do fancy you." He stared intensely at his soup almost as if he could make it boil. "No, I am not gay persay, I am people sexual."

littl3chocobo 07-09-2012 11:32 PM

he was pleased enough to hear he was liked back not to embarrass them both by not knowing what the other meant by 'people-sexual' and instead tried to work up the courage to ask his next question. ".......canikissyou?"

Poggio 07-10-2012 05:20 AM

His face hurt from the amount of red that radiated from it. Though the other often spoke fast, he was beginning to understand what he was saying. Coyly he nodded. He braced himself for the unknown. All to quickly he felt the press of the moist lips against his cheek before it was gone again.

littl3chocobo 07-10-2012 05:25 AM

the thrill of it was enough to make him feel light and he could not push down the wide smile on his face after pulling away. "...so does this make me your boyfriend or is this a secret?"

Poggio 07-10-2012 06:42 AM

Robins entire face grew flush and the heat made his head spin. He did not see why it did not. He liked Jerial and was happy. Life would be that simple. "Yes!" He squeaked grinning.

littl3chocobo 07-10-2012 07:47 AM

he didn't realize his grin could get any bigger but at the word it did and he felt giddy, happily he kissed the side of robin's lips. "t-then i can do that whenever i please?"

Poggio 07-10-2012 08:16 AM

He nodded grinning dumbly. The other repeated his action again, and it made Robins face stretch farther. Robin laughed leaning forward to kiss... his boyfriend in the same way but stopped. "Um... can I kiss you?"

littl3chocobo 07-10-2012 08:24 AM

that caught him up unexpectedly and he could only offer a nod in reply

Poggio 07-11-2012 12:50 PM

Robin leaned forward pressing his lips against the others. He pulled back quickly feeling a thrill of excitement rush down his spine. He did it again and was just as happy. Robin reached out and put his hand over Jerials. "You are my boyfriend..." He grinned. "I don't know anything about you though." He used his other hand to push back his glasses. "Um also aren't we suppose to have dinner and go to a movie first?"

littl3chocobo 07-11-2012 12:53 PM

the words were funny enough to make him laugh out loud. "that is right, weeks of living together and i hardly know you either.... i don't know about movies but we have eaten together already, does that count?"

Poggio 07-11-2012 01:40 PM

Robin gasped. He wasn't sure if dinner counted as a date when you like some one or if it was just dinner. His shock turned into a smile. "Then we have been dating all along." He ran his fingers fondly over the others. He looked at the soup that had been cooling as they spoke and finally lifted a spoonful with his free hand. He closed his mouth around the rich broth, it was one of the best soups he had tasted. He laughed. "You are better cook then me."

littl3chocobo 07-12-2012 02:42 PM

that was not quite right but he would not argue, that robin liked him at all was enough for him not to argue semantics. he gave him a smile, "thankyou, i can cook for you if you'd like though mam might not be pleased if i give up on homemade all-together"

Poggio 07-14-2012 04:31 AM

“I am sure that will never happen.”He said happily. Robin continued eating his fill and chatting with the other. It was nice to talk to Jerial rather then simply have him ghost about the apartment. Meekly he discovered a lot of things when the boy opened up, such as the small age gap between them. Robin was about to turn legal come his next birthday and Jerial was fresh meat, his favorite color was the colors of some famous team called the Lakers and the boy loved his mother a lot. Robin found himself grinning like a mad man as he fell on his bed. He was full and exhausted. Stretching on his comforter he found the book he abandoned and pulled it closer. He ran his fingers over its smooth leather binding. Trembling he hesitated, opening to the page he left off. There was something about this story that was starting to haunt his dreams. His eyes scanned over the first paragraph of his marked page, unaware that his body grew limp against the pillows.

littl3chocobo 07-14-2012 04:45 AM

something was off, the reader was distracted by something and it could feel the ties pulling the reader from it. tightening it's grip on the reader's mind it tried to keep the story

robin landed harshly on the floor at the feet of a field mouse leaving the poor thing startled. wildly the poor creature began shrieking about intruders and tiny humans and flipping her skirts every which way and trying futilely to find a place to hide and when no harm came from the strange human creature her shrieks soon turned to worry that it was hurt

Poggio 07-15-2012 01:42 PM

Robin lay among the brown leaves that had fallen. He recalled his escape from the witch, and something seemed to interfere with his mind. He inhaled the winter air tasting the faint remains of chicken. It made him think fondly of... The prince! The squeaks near him grew louder and a fur covered hand reached out pulling Robin until he sat up right. The fuzzy face informed him he would freeze to death if he did not move and pulled him to his feet. Robin dumbly protested against the field mouse. He did not want to be another creatures breakfast. The mouse merely chuckled at his protest and continued to idly chatter away. He was ceremoniously dumped on a couch. "Who are you?" He finally found himself asking.

littl3chocobo 07-16-2012 02:47 AM

"i am miss field-mouse," said she and offered robin a curtsy, "this is my sweet humble home you have fallen into, who are you? what are you? where did you come from, i mean aside from my ceiling?" she paused for a moment and lightly sniffed the air. "why do you smell like magical things? didn't you know it is winter?"

Poggio 07-17-2012 05:01 PM

He was assaulted with words and did not know how to begin to answer them. Robin waited until the mysterious ... literally named Miss Field mouse stopped chattering. "I am Robin, I am looking for Jerial, he was taken away from me by the Evil Queen." Robin hugged the warmth back into his bones by drawing his knees closer to his chest. "I know its winter, and I don't know what I smell like I can't smell myself... and" he frowned. "I... I don't remember where I came from."

littl3chocobo 07-17-2012 08:03 PM

she tsk'd sadly at the boy's predicament and tried to comfort him the best she could with such depressing news, "poor thing. poor, poor, thing! well i don't know anything about your jerial but if the snow-queen has them you will never get them back. you should stay here instead, don't bother risking your own life for a lost cause like that. it is cold outside and you will freeze if you try, stay here with me until the spring comes"

Poggio 07-20-2012 04:57 AM

A crestfallen face found its way into the blankets that covered him. For a brief moment, Robin wondered if the mouse was right. He peeked up at the field mouse, strengthening his resolve. No, Baba had told him how to get his prince back and it was not to late. “Thank you Miss field mouse, but no thank you, I will freeze. I know my prince is alive even if he is in the clutches of the snow queen.” The cold ridden bones moved to leave the field mouses humble abode. “I will find him.”

littl3chocobo 07-20-2012 05:25 AM

miss field mouse was upset, and rightfully so, at the child's words. she had seen how cruel the harsh winder could be and had no doubt the cold would kill the poor boy before he had ever made it past her yard. loudly she tsk'd and thought of a way to keep the child safe out of the weather, "now, now, do not be like that. at least stay the night so that you may warm." she hoped that with a warm bed and a full belly she could keep him safe until the snow melted

Poggio 07-20-2012 05:39 AM

Robin looked up at the white walls of snow that fell streaked across the sky clouding the hole he fell through. He turned and looked at the field mouse, she was right. If Jerial was not dead yet, he would alive for another day. He turned towards the field mouse and nodded. "Thank you, but will it cost me anything? And do you have any cocks?"

littl3chocobo 07-20-2012 05:45 AM

she shook her head. "no, nothing at all, it is what any good person would do, though glory no i do not keep those horrid things about. i would not trust one not to scratch up the place then come eat me right up when he was done." agitated she grabbed her tail and began stroking it, "but enough about that, are you hungry? i have a bit of cheese and a thimble of soup saved if you would like some, it will help warm you right up"

Poggio 07-20-2012 01:38 PM

The corners of Robins mouth twisted into a warm smile. “thank you very much.” He said turning towards the fire and finding a spot to rest his weary legs. With curious eyes he watched the field mouse scurry about her room. Once he was given his meal, Robin started to rely his tale to the eager ears. The field mouse seemed eager to tale her as well as other tales she knew. She told him of rumors of the fairy kingdom, and the different seasons. Robin did not realize the mouses voice lulled him to sleep.

littl3chocobo 07-20-2012 04:05 PM

not too long after the child had fallen asleep and miss mouse took it upon herself to put him to bed in one of the many rooms of her warren did a knock come at the door. quickly she went to answer and found, on the other side, her neighbor the mole. stepping back courteously she let him in

Poggio 07-22-2012 07:41 AM

Robin woke to the a strange little tune being hummed. The abode smelled wonderful and as he moved he could see the field mouse scurrying about making alterations to a garment. The white dress looked lovely. He smiled rising from the blankets that covered him. "Good morning Miss Field mouse." He felt well rested since he did not have to fear cocks eating him.

littl3chocobo 07-22-2012 08:52 AM

when the child woke she perked up and quickly she finished pulling the thread through and securing the piece before setting the dress down. "wonderful news dear, just wonderful! after you fell asleep a friend of mine, the mole, came over and we had a lovely little chat and well one thing led to another thing and soon i was telling him about you and wouldn't you know he asked to see you, don't get me wrong you are a nice person and all but you are not beautiful but the mole, bless his gentle soul, he cannot hardly see at all and yet he took one look at you and said you were beautiful! he asked about you and your situation living here with me and i told him that you lost your love to the snow queen and were all alone and he told me he wanted to marry you! oh it is so exciting, the mole has been a bachelor for so very long and he certainly is not young anymore but he is very well to do and very sweet... well for a mole, and he is very smitten with you i can tell and i think you would like him too, he is very wealthy and has such a large keep and it is only him but it has it's perks, you won't have to worry he will be stolen away or that you will starve and if you don't mind any of that then you will be so very happy." slightly winded she stood and came to take robin's hand in her own, "say you will, it will make you both so happy and i do so love a wedding, i have even made you a dress. would you try it on?"

Poggio 08-14-2012 05:52 PM

“If you say it will make me happy.” How the chattering mouse conned him into such a guise he was not sure, but one moment he was standing before her vanity the next he was disrobed and cloaked in a wedding dress of unusual color of cascading shades of blue and white. There were so many things that did not ring correctly in Robins mind, how could a mole marry a human, how could this mouse even speak to him. He fought to use logic that continued to escape from him. No, he wanted to see Jerial, but the mouse had assured him there was no hope. This quickly settled Robin into disappear at the dawning of understanding. Jerial was gone. “If you say it will make me happy...” He said again.

littl3chocobo 08-14-2012 09:56 PM

he nodded and began tugging at the loose fabric. lace was beautiful but it was heavy and did not bend or breathe too well in layers. adjusting it to take in the waist and sliding the needle in so that she could pin it closed between her fingertips she looked over the child's side to see. "tsk, you are so very thin, but no worry! we can take the dress right in and when you are married you can eat your way into something more respectable, it will work out just fine~" tugging and pulling and putting in stitches the dress as soon close-fitting around robin's waist and cutting the thread with her teeth miss mouse spun him around to get a good look at him. "oh, very nice! very nice! we will have you a respectable bride in no-" in the middle of her crowing she was interrupted and leaving the lad's side she went to answer

(it will be mister mole, they will chat and she will show robin's dress off and the mole will mention the girl from before was much smaller and certainly less blue)

Poggio 08-15-2012 01:26 PM

The mouse scurried to her door and through it came a most horrible creature. He was led by the mouse to were Robin stood. Having the grubby hands pull and tug on him disgusted him, even more so when he brushed past Robins rear making him jump. They talked about him as if he weren't even there comparing him to another lass. No his prince would not treat him like this, his prince was full of warm kisses and gentleness and kindness. Closing his eyes he remembered their dance. Idly his hand found the last blue rose that was not taken by the witch Baba. “I... I am... Thank you for your kindness Miss field mouse.”Shaking his head he backed away from the scene. “I can... not marry the mole.” He stumbled backwards retreating towards the exit. Pulling the heavy fabric away from his feet he dashed out into the blooming spring, he needed to travel through all seasons and not waste time marrying a mole. Jerial needed him.

littl3chocobo 08-15-2012 04:06 PM

it had expected the reader to run but not so soon. the reader had to receive the gold coin and the handkerchief first! frantically it tried to get itself together. it adjusted itself to match the reader's pace even as it struggled to distract

quickly fleeing the home of miss mouse he ran through winter as if the hounds of hell were at his feet and did not stop until he ran into the arms of a crying woman sitting at the edge of spring on a fallen log only just growing the first green of the year, "please help me!"

Poggio 08-15-2012 04:43 PM

He did not stop for the woman, surely she could deter the mole and the mouse when they came after him. Huffing in the heavy fabric he noticed the world around him shifting to a more vibrant color. Along side him near the river he tumbled over and yet again was the woman begging for help. He screamed assuming it was the yaga coming to devour him, rising hastily to his feet he ran once more.

littl3chocobo 08-15-2012 05:10 PM

the child, robin, ran from the woman two times more after the first and by then he was half of the way through the summer season. as he came apun her again the woman rose and away fell the trappings of youth and beauty leaving a large frightful demoness looming over the boy. "three times i asked and three times you have run, you may be clever enough to not fall for my trap but i shall eat you all the same!"

Poggio 08-15-2012 09:21 PM

He stumbled backwards tumbling in the thick cloth and falling on the thick grass below. Robin scurried to crawl away from the woman but each time he did not seem to get far. He crouched screaming leaving only the crown of his head exposed as he waited for his demise. There was an ear shattering screech as hand grabbed a clump of his hair and the smell of burning flesh filled his nostrils. Opening his eyes he could see the woman clawing at him as her flesh began to melt and her bones burn her from the inside out. He screamed closing his eyes and falling into darkness.

littl3chocobo 08-15-2012 09:31 PM

he had only just finished his classwork and was getting ready for bed when he heard the scream and knocking over the books propped up against him made a mad scramble to the bedroom where the other lay

Poggio 08-17-2012 02:17 PM

It was becoming a familiar state that he fall into the arms of his roommate. This time he was delusional enough to assume the soft folds of fabric belong to his prince. "Th..thank you for saving me." He said dreamily pulling the darken flesh to meet his own rosy lips.
