Once they were outside Thalion seemed to wait for the entrance to be closed again before he bothered walking. It seemed they weren't taking any of the horses.. though what Mizuki didn't know was they didn't have more then a half a days walk to do.. There was a small well armed camp that close to here. It was worrying the patrols in the area.

"well you can't protest now" He laughed slightly knowing that half the walk to the gate Mizuki had tried to fight him tooth and nail with every reason under the sun why he shouldn't go along. Though he never mentioned where they were really going, or the fact that Mizuki was probably going to end up slowing him down if it came to it.

His mind kept going back to what if the Eastern army finds him, what would happen. Thalion was already wanted by the other side.. for a few reasons. Some that he didn't know about, like the rumors that he was to be the next leader of the Rebellion force.. he hadn't heard about that one just yet, even back when Mizukihad him captive.

We've got about... a half a days worth of walking and then some scaling to do before we get to where I need to be. After I take down numbers and my thoughts on the forces we can come back if your worried that much." Though even with Thalion's worries on his mind he never did show them to Mizuki, he tried to put the best foot forward and taking everything as it went.

Mizuki stepped outside after bickering with the gaurd for while. But it was all worth it when the fresh air hit his lungs. It was really nice! Fallowing right beside Thalion Mizuki kept the pace steady. He knew he had no weapons do to the fact that all of them were left behind while he was captured. "Half a day hey" He said to no one really as they continued to walk.

It was hours before they stopped at a little river that they needed to cross before the cliff came into sight. Thats when Misuki stopped and lightly grabbed Thalion turning him and placing a swift kiss on the males lips. 'It was time for a little break" Mizuki said with a smile after he pulled back. But that smile soon turned to a worrie ridden face with his ears dropping.

Looking past Thalion Mizuki saw something that made his heart stop. It was Maya sitting atop of a horse loaded arrow at the ready. With out thinking Mizuki grasped Thalions shoulders and turned traded places with him. Mizuki then stumbled forwrd a step as a sickening thunk was heard as the arrow landed in his back. It was exactly as Thalion feared.

Mizuki gave a soft painfilled smile as blood began to soak his closes from the front and back revealing the strength of the arrow shot. "I...love you" Mizuki said before he slumped forward his chest coliding with that of THalions.

Maya was pissed and shocked all at once. Here she was going about her patrol when what dose she see but two males. As one turned her heart skipped a beat. "General" She said in a whisper. She thought him to be dead. Loading her bow she would kill the male that he was with realizing now that it was the drow that had taken him in the first place. With the intent to kill she let the arrow fly. And was shocked to see Mizuki change places taking the blow for the western scum. She needed to report to Luna! After the male slumped forward she locked eyes with Thalion before turning and bolting off into the distance.

He was a second from asking what the sudden change was for, but the kiss had distracted him from keeping his eyes forward and alert. Before he could even think Mizuki forced him to move and seemed to take his spot mere seconds before a sickening sound of a arrow landing into flesh could be heard. A almost deafening sounds as Thalion stood there a moment trying to keep Mizuki steady.

is ears dropped he wasn't even sure what he was suppose to do as he stood there a moment. "mizuki.. MIZUKI!" He yelled to the top of his lungs trying to get a answer from him, though he wasn't getting one at the moment. His eyes quickly fell upon who let that arrow free, it was nothing but the urge to kill that was written all over his face. Keeping Mizuki on his feet he forced himself to draw the bow he had with him and fire a shot off, though it missed it's target as she seemed to retreat suddenly.

He hissed and growled a little knowing he should have hit her but his aim was off. Slowly he sank to the ground still holding onto Mizuki as he tried to check for a pulse. "Damn it, you can't die!" He said trying to get anything out of the man. His eyes were looking all over for any sign that he was still breathing though in his panic ridden state he wasn't focused enough to tell.

That woman, if he was dead she'd pay there'd be no rest till her corpse was on the ground with a arrow through her neck. Slowly he stood back up trying to carry Mizuki as best as he could as he started walking again to seek out some form of shelter so he could stop the bleeding without being in the open like a sitting duck.

Once he found a place he laid Mizuki down on his side and ripped the front of the shirt open and the back before pulling it off to get it out of the way. The wound was all the way through, it'd take too long to walk back to the base now. He'd probably bleed to death if he wasn't already dead.

He punched the ground suddenly to relieve himself of some of the pent up angry going on in his mind. "damn it! Why'd you do that!" he half hissed and screamed at Mizuki. "What good is saying those words if your ..." His voice fell soft for a moment as he moved a little and pulled Mizuki into his arms again. "damn it don't die.." He half sounded like he was either in tears or about to the point of. He didn't have any real medical supplies with him, removing the arrow would allow the wound to bleed out further.. what could he really do?

He really needed to move him again he wasn't all that far from the spot he was first shot at.. surely they'd search there first. He had half a mind to walk him to the Eastern encampment, that'd throw them for a real loop wouldn't it.. Hell they'd blame him for it knowing them. Let alone carrying someone he'd never be able to defend himself.

He sat there still holding onto Mizuki for a few more moments before pulling away from him a little. "I'm not going to let you die, other only person who's allowed to take your last breath is me.." He spoke under his breath before standing slowly and picking Mizuki up with him. He had made up his mind Mizuki wasn't going to like it but damn it the Eastern camp was closer and would have some form of medical supplies there surely..

He was taking a bit of a risk probably, a rather damn stupid one at that. He started walking to get off the the cliff, there was a path though narrow it would work well enough. He was determined to not let him die here, even if he was killed on sight if Mizuki lived then he didn't care. Though he knew it wasn't what Mizuki would want.. he had to do it.

Luna was outraged! Not over the fact that Mizuki was alive and well...well not anymore. She glared down at Maya who was bowed before her "I swear to god if that man is dead your head is mine" She hissed out. After that Luna stood. With the directions that Maya had given she would hopefully be led to Mizuki and that drow. As soon as she saw that drow he would be dead.

Mizukis world was black. He saw nothing but he could hear Thalions words clearly and they frightened him. Was he going to die? Leaving this world without saying good bye to Thalion? His heart lurched at the thought.

He stood there on his branch as he watched what took place infront of him. Normaly he wouldnt do anything to help or even take sides. But such a selfless act of love, and the pain the other showed just at the thought of death made him decide on what to do. He watched as the shorter male struggled with carrying the larger framed one. Going to a cave the male fallowed with no trouble. He was about to leave when the Drow returned a short while later carrying the male with a look on his face of anger, hurt, worrie and something else.

He wasnt dumb. He knew exactly who the larger male was. It was Mizuki general of the eastern army. Well was the general. He got wind that Mizuki was kidnapped by a drow over a year ago. After that the hunt was on to find the male with his first incharge taking over the forces. But after while the hope to find the male became dimmer. So the king made Luna the new general but told her that the look for the male did not stop.

In the middle of his thinking he stopped and looked down at the two males. The one was heading right for the eastern camp. Was he stupid? Surely they would kill him on the spot and save the general. Seeing that he thought that he suffered enough. Thinking it not wise to scare the Drow he had to go about this the right way.

Jumping down on soundless feet he stood and walked right out infront of Thalion and Mizuki with his hands out infront of him showing that he had no weapon "You want him to live?" The Male asked slightly. He was a tall male about the same hight as Mizuki. Shoulder length black hair that was pulled back into a little poney tail. The male wore all black and when he spoke hints of fangs were seen behind his lips. For you see Roka as many called him was a half vampire. All the abilities but no need for blood.

"Fallow me" He said when he got a smart remark from the male infront of him. Taking Thalion through trees they ended up at a hallow within a tree. Walking in he looked behind him "Watch your step as soon as you enter...stairs" He said. As they got down the stair case the male motioned to a bed off to the side "Place him there" He said beofre walking over and helping him.

Looking at the pale elf before him he reached out and felt for a paulse. It was there but it was weak. "We need to hurry...his life blood is almost gone" He said before rushing about the house grabbing different things "Okay...this is going to hurt the both of you" He said "I need you to hold him steady. No matter what state this hurts" He said.

After Thalion walked around and held Mizuki tightly. "Okay ready" With that he got a simple nod. "One...two...three!" And on three he grasped and yanked the arrow. From the darkness all Mizuki felt was intence pain! His eyes opened wide and he screamed out his agony in a moment of weakness. Well even with blood loss he was awake now.

Thats when the male smiled "See...it woke him up to" He said in a sick humor before getting a glare from Thalion. He then went about taking a mixture of herbs and placing them on the wounds. After that they sat him then bandaged his chest. "He has lost alot" Roka said in a sad tone "Lets hope he has something to live for" With that Roka took his leave out of the room. The two lovers needed to be alone.

He follow the stranger, at first he debated if that was a good idea.. but the man showed no signs of having weapons and even if he tried something Thalion was more then formidable with the blades on him. It was for Mizuki anyway, hell he was about to throw away his life.. so what was the difference if he trusted this man enough to help or not.

He frowned a bit at the morbid humor, not that he didn't see the joke in it all but he could have done that if he had the proper supplies with him back at the cave. Though all of that aside.. this stranger did seem to know what he was doing. Thalion had minor experiences with herbs and healing measures.. but it was enough to normally cover anything he ever had done to him. Though this was far out of his league.

After the man left the room he never said a word, even with the comment of 'let's hope he has something to live for', hell Thalion didn't know if he had given Mizuki a good reason to fight or not.. This was the second time he felt powerless.. the first was back when he was captured and they had gotten Neimi. Why was it everyone he tried to care for ended up hurt.

The main reason he was even walking towards the Eastern camp was because he'd rather Mizuki live, he was tired of people dying around him. Sure his own hands took enough lives but that's not the same when it's the people you care the most about. Sure this whole ordeal had hurt, but he kept most of it to himself having recovered from his small outburst from earlier.

That woman.. she better sure as hell hope her next arrow kills him if he crosses her again cause he was going to ensure his did just that. Though he couldn't focus on thoughts of killing her, he kept looking back to Mizuki who seemed to be in pain but at least alive.

Finally he did decide on something to say though it was more of him trying to hold himself together before he went off and did something stupid, like hunt that woman down. "You better live damn it.. and then if you do I might kill you for doing something that damn stupid." He sighed heavily after his words before going on "honestly.. your worse then Neimi and she's just a child"

(sorry its short have a time limit in the morning but thats about all i had to type anyway ^.^; poor maya i feel sorry for her with Thalion pissed lawl)

Mizuki layed there on his side. He was in pain yes but everyhthing would heal in time wouldnt it? Mizuki then heard Thalion speak through a clouded mind and he would smirk if he could. He would live. He would fight any foe that his mind placed before him to get back to Thalion. And thats exactly what he did. Day after day of healing Mizuki was fighting an eternal battle to get back to Thalion. Hope was growing dim as the days came and went and he still did not wake.

['['['['['['['['['['['9 days later']']']']']']']']']']

Mizukis mind was fighting the blackness that had seemed to claim him. Foe after foe he fought to return to the world of the living. Then it happened, the foe fell and behind him was a distant small flickering light. Nizuki all but ran towards it. He needed to reach that light! Then he reached out a hand and his world was filled with light.

Slowly his eyes opened to the tinyest crack. His vision was blurred and he awaited the moment for everything to become clear. Once it was he took in his sorroundings. Shelves had anything from simple to healing to even magical herbs that he thought to have died off from over use. With his eyes traveling he saw a table with supplies scattered all over its top and a door that led to nothing but shadows. Then his eyes traveled down to the choppy red hair of Thalion.

The male was sitting on a chair beside his bed. A warm hand rested ontop of his and the other males head rested on the bed, eyes closed and back arched like a bow. Mizuki opened his eyes a little further to take in all that was Thalion. It was a gurgled, raw, and dry voice that spoke next "...T-thal..." Was all he managed to get out.

He had lost track of how many days he had been here, hell he had ventured out a few times just to keep from going stirr crazy in such a small area. That and he was searching for the woman, even if she was one of Mizuki's old hechies she needed to pay for what she did. Though his searches proved fruitless each time. The only thing he managed to do was get the count he needed of the troops near by.. but that was about it.

He needed to get the report back as soon as possible but he wasn't about to leave Mizuki alone, he felt like it was his fault for what happened anyway. If he had just gone alone Mizuki wouldn't be fighting for his life, he'd be well enough and safe. Thalion if he hadn't had Mizuki there would have caught the archer long before she was able to fire her bow off.

But all of that was in the past and nothing could be done to change it. Over all he had kept what he said to a minimal.. he didn't really speak at all, then again he normally only really started talking when he was pissed anyway aside from that he was normally a rather quiet person. Though you'd never know that by how much he normally went on.

He had managed to force himself to get some sleep once more when he thought he heard a voice, a faint one and it sounded weak but a voice none the less. He lifted his head up to see that Mizuki was looking at him, though he still looked like he was rather weak at the moment. Sitting up a bit he just stayed there, he wasn't sure what he should be doing really or what to say. Did he manage to pull through after all?

Mizuki didn't seem like he was going to say anything as he laid there. Though Thalion with his normal twist of words decided to speak instead, trying to keep his thoughts that Mizuki was going to be ok under control. He didn't need to express them not here. "You awake finally? took you long enough." He let out a forced sigh, really he was glad that he was awake.

He guessed he had to thank the stranger, though by this time the two had managed a exchange of names though that was almost all of the conversation that they had done over the little over a weeks time frame.

Mizuki wanted to snort at Thalions comment. Not only that he wanted, no needed to sit up. His side and back ached with muscles that havent been moved in days. Gathering his energy he moved his right arm to place a hand flat on the bed. With a grunt he pushed his arm shaking with the effort. He was about to give up when he felt a pair of strong hands grabb him softly in a warm embrace, helping him sit up.

Mizulki dropped his head forward with a pained sigh resting his head upon Thalions chest his eyes closed. Moving his right hand slightly he placed it on Thalions leg "How...long?" He asked slightly only managing s few words at one time.

It was almost worse seeing Mizuki in this condition then the wait to see if he'd recover. Though he had seen him in a similar condition before... but it was before they ...

At first he was going to let him struggle on his own to see what he could manage, but he did finally give in to helping him sit up as he held him there. Hearing him speak again he thought a moment before answering him. "Little over a week" He said in a similar manner as to what he had spoken in before. Though he wasn't sure of the exact days.. it had been at least a week if not a few days over.

"don't worry about it, but damn it if you do anything like that again I'll personally kill you!" he hissed out to get his point across, over all saying he was worried the whole time without saying such words. "you got damn lucky.. " Mizuki was lucky, if the stranger hadn't came by Thalion probably would be dead or worse off..

Mizuki smirked at that "Because....I have...you" He said turning his head so his cheek rested upon a shirt clad chest. He gave a sigh. He knew it was to early to try and walk. Even forcing himself to sit made him want to pass out again. So he just sat there enjoying the warmth the other provided. After awhile Mizuki wanted to lay back down but he needed something first "...Water?" He asked moving his head to look up at the male with almost clear lavender eyes.

Mizuki was normally a fast healer do to the magics in the chrystal around his neck. But do to the blood loss the chrystal was working over time and the healing was taking longer. By tomorrow he should be able to speak better and hopefully walk.

He wasn't expecting that, he'd hardly call that a reason to live. Though thinking about it he'd say the same thing or something along the lines if the places were switched. "Come on you have better reasons to live" He protested a little giving a answer like he normally did.

He made sure Mizuki was steady for a moment before leaving his side and getting what he had asked for. Though there was a pitcher and a glass in the room so it wasn't like he had to go that far. Going back to him he helped him with the glass trying to ensure he wasn't pushing himself too far with having just woken back up.

If it were anyone else Thalion would have snapped at them already and said well hurry up and rest cause we need to move out tomorrow, but he didn't with Mizuki. Though at the same time he didn't want him to push himself it was quite the opposite. He needed to be better and be back to the Mizuki he was before.. Though he'd have to keep his eyes about better when they left. There wasn't going to be a damn repeat of this.

Mizuki was still where he sat when THalion left his side. He was slouched over to keep balance. Then Thalion returned with a glass of water and he was thankful for help the other provided. Mizuki then gladly drank waht he could from the cup that was lightly pressed to his lips. After a few moment he watched Thalion return the glass coming back and aiding him to lay down once more. As Mizukis head hit the pillow he took a hold of Thalions hand. Gicing the male a loving smile his eyes drifted close and he gave into the darkness once more.

Mizukis mind snapped from clouded to clear in an instant. Before he moved he judged his sorroundings. Openeing tired eyes he looked around and found the room to be empty. Closing his eyes once more he willed his body to awaken fully. As the last of the darkness left he opened his eyes once more.

With a grunt he forced himselt to sit. Raising a hand he brushed his face with a sigh. He figured that he has sat around like enough. Swinging his feet to the side of the bed he sat for a moment before pushing off of the bed. He stood on his feet with a little wable. Muscles that havent been used in a while protesting at the movement. He then took a step judging his strength before taking another.

Slowly he made his way to a door to find the place was larger then he first thought. That is when he heard noises from a distant room. One of them being Thalions voice. Forcing himself to move he walked down the thin hallway to what seemed like a kitchen. Leaning on the door frame he looked at the two males in the room woundering when he was to be noticed. All he did was watch Thalion knowing the male would feel his gaze soon.

Thalion was hardly paying attention with Mizuki standing there watching him and the other male. Really he was too caught in the conversation at hand.. even if it was a bit one sided with Thalion only make a few odd comments here and there where he saw fit or when they were needed.

Though after a while he was about to speak again when he felt like he was being watched and he noticed Mizuki. Though he quickly glared at the man. "You have no damn room to call me reckless anymore, you near about die and your walking only after coming to for a few moments the day before?"

Really he wasn't mad, but he could have ended up making things worse by forcing himself. Aside from that he didn't want him to wake up and him not be at his side. But it couldn't be helped now it would seem.

Mizuki looked to him and slowly made his way to a vacent seat that was infront of the male. "I have sat around long enough" He said in a tired voice. Though Mizuki realized that he needed to rest in order to heal that just wasnt him. When his mind would finaly let go of his being and he slipped back into a state of awareness he would try force himself to recover quicker. "Besides...." He said leaning back into the chair a hand resting on his still bandaged chest "I thought you would have missed me"

Mizuki was tying to make the best out of the situatiion that he could and if that ment cracking lame jokes to give the other a sence like nothing happened then that was what he was going to do.

He shook his head a little "Well.. I won't argue there, you were out for over a week." Though it was easy to tell he still wasn't up to really travel anywhere, that could be a few more days stuck in this damn place. Thalion had been talking about going out again to check the area. He was still dead set on repaying the wench that shot Mizuki.. though he'd ensure it was her last breath.

He smirked a little at his next comment before crossing his arms. "smart ass... " he spit out before going on after a moment. "that may be the case, but you should still be resting or at least taking it easy" He never did admit to missing him or not, though Thalion had his ways of talking that hinted at his true thoughts. You just had to be quick to catch them from time to time. Mizuki probably knew this better then anyone.

"either way, you should be thankful that you have your breath" He made a slight gesture towards the other person n the room. "We'll just say he stopped me from doing something even more reckless then your stunt." That was probably the next best thing to a thank you the man was going to get out of Thalion.

Mizuki sat there and listened to the male before turning to look at the other male in the room. Thats when he forced himself to stand, turning he bowed low to the other male in question "Thank you" He said deeply before standing straight with a little bit of a wobble.

"You are very welcome" The male said "Let me now fully tell who I am" He said with a smile "My name as people call it would be..." Here he thought for a moment "Oh yes Roka" He said snapping his fingers. You see Roka was a traveler. He never stayed to long in one place. As soon as someone found out his name he was already gone. But these males seemed different so Roka expressed himself clearly. "I happened to see everything happen" He said with a nod "Which leads me to one question"

Roka needed to know about somthing that had been on his mind for awhile. "Okay so I know how you.." He said indicating to Mizuki "Got to be with him" He said indicating to Thalion "What I want to know is...why did you turn and save your captors life almost giving up yours in the process?" Mizuki looked to him with a blank expression. Then he heard Thalion say something in a rude comment but Mizuki didnt mind "Its simple really" He stated "My world was covered in darkness. Then a shadow came and rescued me" Mizuki said looking at Roka before his gave changed to Thalion and he spoke once again "A shadow that became a light" He said "A shadow that I love" He said his eyes meeting Thalions in a heated gaze.

Thalion hardly seemed impressed by all of this chatter. "You already asked me the same damn thing why bother him with it. I told you what happened" He kept his arms crossed. He had already explained that sure he took the General in but he never really kept him as a captive.. aside from making him do the same damn labor that he was doing.

Though he stopped with his quick comments as Mizuki spoke. Though he tried to avoid the gaze of both Roka and Mizuki. Though he did have a few complaints to what Mizuki was talking about, the shadow becoming light and all that. "tsk.. to be fair i didn't do anything, not my fault you started talking back after a while." He had a point though, Thalion treated Mizuki as he had Neimi he just looked after him give or take. Just over the year Mizuki seemed to open up more and more... plus he left out the awkward moments they had when both were trying to figure out what the hell was going on.

"Also so you know I told you my damn name, captor isn't it" he hissed out a little remembering that he had just been referred to as captor.. yet again. "aside from that whats it matter?" He saw no purpose in such questions really, he was more concerned with what sort of payment this guy was going to be after for this. Almost no one worked for free, that was his experience in the world.

Roka smiled at that and sniffed the air "Mmmmm dont you smell it?" He asked them both "The herbs" He said acting almost crazy. When the both looked to him like he was just that he sighed. "Fine. Everything happens for a reason" He said "I know this from many many experiances" He said with a nod of his head. That is when he walked over to Mizuki and taking out a dagger quickly cut the bandage that was around his chest ignoring the kinda panicked growl from Thalion when the male saw the dagger.

After he stepped back and indicated to the herbs that new glowed a light blue. Mizuki looked down and was shocked at what he saw "Is...Is that?" He asked and looked to Roka who nodded "Yep it sure is" He said. Thats when Mizuki looked to Thalion and saw the quizical look upon his face "Its a herb thats called "light of a blue heart" and was thought to no longer flourish" He said looking back down "It heals the victum fully once a...a..." Mizuki needed to think of the right way to say this before Roka piped in "Once a change of heart is said freely" Mizuki nodded his head.

He half though the man before them was half crazed when he started speaking of herbs and such. He had that part right everything did happen for a reason, Thalion had blamed that saying as to why him and Mizuki both didn't kill one another when they had the chances to.

He kept his eyes on the odd man as he pulled a dagger, to admit it yes he flinched a little not sure if he really trusted him with a blade close to either of them. Though why would he try anything after helping them this whole time. Though he relaxed again seeing it was just the bandage that was cut. Though he wasn't quite sure what was going on as the two seemed to go back and forth about the strange herb.

He understood what they were saying and he had at one time heard such a name before. "but isn't that just a myth? Like the so called beasts of old that once roamed these very lands.. " Though the glow the plant gave off made him think they weren't just making it up, what was the point of making up such a story. It was a bit of food for thought though.

"That aside so that's it then?" He was still trying to grasp at this herb idea, then again magic had long been gone from these lands.. The West was among the first areas to lose such gifts even though it was now the last area where nature and the beings of it's lands were free. So it wasn't like he was brought up around magic, that was something he had to learn from run in's with casters.. From what he gathered Mizuki would be perfectly fine due to that herb? That was almost hard to believe and he was still waiting for this Roka to ask for payment in some form.

"Myths and legends are all true storys" He stated to the male looking to him "They have just been passed down through so many generations that bits and pieces are lost changing the story to something less beleiveable" Roka said with a not of his head "Soon what we are will be a storie thats past down and will become a myth and a legend" He said almost sadly "But somethings are ment to stay for some reason" He said with a smile 'That was the last of my blue heart...." He said with a smile to the other

So that ment that the plant had no recovery chance. It really now was gone from this earth. "Things change in time...just like his love for you" Roka said indicating to Mizuki first then Thalion next 'It will remain with him forever but will change as that forever grows" He said simply.

Roka then decided to change the subject "So tomorrow you have my clear to go" He said happily "By then every last thing should be healed....but it will leave a scar" He said kinda sadly.

He wasn't sure if he thought the same way as far as all of them here being passed down in stories. His only thought was that he'd rather not be remembered when it came down to it. "That's.. true I guess. Shame then" He never mentioned why he thought it was a shame, but he probably had his reasons, Thalion never said anything without it having a purpose to it.. even when he was joking around.

Though he kept his mouth shut for the next comment from the man, it was a rather odd thought. To think the plant was the last of it's kind.. what was that even like to know you were alone in the world like that. But it was also the other part of his comment that made him keep quiet. That meant it could change for better or for worse, it also meant it could fade in due time as well.

To prevent Mizuki from thinking that there was something on his mind he made a quick comment towards the fact they had the ok to go tomorrow and the scar. "Good it needs to leave one, as a reminded to not be a idiot again." He didn't care if it left a scar, and Mizuki shouldn't either . not with the large one he'd have forever on his back.

Mizuki knew that Thalion had something on his mind just from the sheer fact of how fast the subject was changed. Mizuki gave a snuff at the next comment just in time to listen to what Roka said "Not as stupid as what you were going to do" He said looking to Thalion "Mr. Im headed to the eastern army for help" With that comment Mizuki snapped his head to Thalion and gave the other male a whicked glare that even made ice shiver. Mizuki could be intimadating when he wanted to be.

"You were going to do what?" He asked in an equally icy tone "They would have killed you on the spot! Do you know how stupid that was of you!?" Mizuki was pissed! How could he even think of doing such a think "My sacrifice would of ment nothing" He said "It did mean nothing...didnt it..." He said almost softly before standing on wabbly legs and walking away out of the room. Leaving an almost shocked and hurt Thalion behind him.

His ears went back as soon as he brought that fact up. "Reckless yes, stupid probably.. tsk... there wasn't a way in hell that he was going to live with carrying him back to the Western area.. let alone I don't think I would have lived. I'm sure they hunted the area after we left." He frowned a bit at the fact he had the nerve to bring the topic up. Though he couldn't say anything else catching the gaze from Mizuki.

"You wouldn't have died damn it. Geese least your somewhat important, hard to believe they are still looking for you after a years time." He had a few other choice words he wanted to tell him, he was being dramatic on him again. Like the fact that if he had been killed at the camp over a year ago no one from his side would have really hunted for him. Normally the general didn't send out troops to bring back one cause they couldn't afford to lose the man power. But if that attempt had failed then that would have been the last try to get Thalion out of there.

Seeing Mizuki walk off he sighed a little, the last comment didn't help either. "damn it.. " he hissed out before walking after him and grabbing his arm so he couldn't walk any further. "Idiot.. of course it meant something, but do you know how many people I've watched die in front of me over the years? More then I care to count. I wasn't about to let someone else through their life away just to spare mine. If I had been paying attention like I should of then it wouldn't have happened..."

He seemed to pause a moment in his slightly enraged speech as he released Mizuki's arm. "I couldn't have lived with myself if you had die like that.. not knowing that it could have been prevented." Over all he would have blamed himself if Mizuki had died, and he only was going to the Eastern camp because he knew for sure they'd help Mizuki.. he never gave his life a second thought.

Mizuki stood there with his back towards Thalion. Where the others hand grabbed his arm felt really hot. Even after the male let go and his arm slid lifelessly to his side. Mizuki could hear the pain in Thalions voice as he spoke of the people that he loved dying. Mizuki understood why the male behind him wanted to it. Mizuki was hurt and angry all at the same time. He wasnt sure if he wanted to punch or kiss the male behind him.

Thats when Mizuki turned to look at Thalion. His lavender orbs were clouded over and brimmed with tears. Mizuki was normaly a very strong person but just the mere thought of the male infont of him dying scared him to no end. "Even if they did save me..." He said softly "...It wouldnt be a life to live. Not with out you" He said sadly as a tear finaly made it over the hill of his bottem lash to fall down a pale cheek slowly.

Mizuki stepped forward and raised his hand placing it on the shorter males cheek now right infront of him "I wouldnt want to live that life" He said softly and sadly.

He didn't want to make Mizuki upset, but damn it he didn't want to be left behind. Let alone it wasn't just him that would be hurt by his loss. "You think I want to live that life?!" He laughed slightly before shaking his head. "your hopeless. What was I suppose to tell Neimi when I returned? Or anyone else that checks up on you back there?" He was waiting for Mizuki to answer him but never got a reply.

"Neimi looks up to you, she's already lost more then most people that I know.. you really want to add that you were going to leave her too? You can argue and say it was either me or you, but she knows very well what my job implies.. " He sighed a little looking at Mizuki before moving a hand and wiping off the tear that was slowly moving down his cheek.

"Now stop that, whatever thoughts you have in your head, you know damn well I'm too stubborn to die. That'd be letting the other side win." He smirked a bit, he was still cocky even after another year even spending it with Mizuki. It was probably why he had lived this long, hell that very same attitude is what kept him alive during the time he was captive.

Mizuki had nothing to say, to anything that Thalion had said. He just stood there and listen to the man infront of him rant on about everything. When he came to the comment "Now stop that, whatever thoughts you have in your head, you know damn well im to stubborn to die" Mizuki wanted to snort and shake his head in an almost anger. Mizuki was being serious. Showing the male infront of him the very way he felt and all he got was snide comments. Sometimes he really hated Thalion for that reason.

As Thalion reached up and brushed the tear away Mizuki was unsure if he should turn his head showing the male before him that he was less then pleased when the answer he had given or allow him to brush it away like nothing? Mizuki stood there and couldnt help but to rub his face into the others hand that has removed his tear. Leaning forward he did what he had thought of since waking, he kissed Thalion lightly. The feel of the others lips had already made everything okay.

Sure the way he spoke at times made him sound like he didn't care. Or that he was carefree, but truth was that he did care he just had a different way of looking at most things compared to others. It wasn't that odd for him to piss off Mizuki with some of his little phrases without a second thought, then again it was probably a known fact between the two that Thalion commonly ticked the other off on purpose.

Sure he could tell he had bothered Mizuki a little, though to admit it this time he didn't mean to do so. He did need to stop worrying though.. this was a war after all things could happen, even if the two didn't want to think about it. Though Thalion did act a little awkward after the sudden kiss from Mizuki, he wasn't too open with showing affection.. let alone when they had a bit of a audience. But thats just how he was, he'd rather keep what he did in his personal time between just them.. even if this guy here knew already.

"Feel better now?" He asked with a slight smirk tying to recover from the kiss still. Mizuki needed to relax instead of fretting over everthing, even if he was recovered or could leave tomorrow he still needed to learn to relax.. though Thalion didn't see that happening..

Mizuki kinda snuffed a little angerly at the other. He knew that it was a hell of a chance to get Thalion to respond to the Kiss what with Roka only a little ways away but after neerly dying that was all he wanted and the other didnt even give that to him. But his thoughts were broken when he heard Roka speak then "Well anyways if you two are done your lovers spat" He began getting a leveled glare from Thalion "You dear need some rest" He said looking to Mizuki with a smile

"Down the hall are four rooms. Mine which I ask you stay out of with all do respect" He said kindly "Beside that is a guest room and beside that room is another room where Thalion is staying and across from that is the bathroom." He said nodding his head "You may choose the free guest room or that of Thalions" He said with a knowing smile before turning and walking away "I will be gone for the night I have something to do before your departure tomorrow" He said with a smile as he left the room and the place all togther.

Mizuki sighed sadly before turning to the indicated rooms. Walking down the hallway he heard the other male walk behind him. It was getting late and a rest in a good bed would help Mizuki heal faster. Mizuki stopped infont of the first room that was vacent and reached out for the handle to open it hardly Thinking that Thalion would want to be with him that night after what just took place. It pained Mizukis heart to think of it.

t wasn't a lovers spat.. or he didn't see it that way. The glare he thought was rather well placed, but then again he commonly had the same look towards everyone anyway. Though he did agree that the Mizuki did need rest instead of getting himself worked up.

Listening to what Roka had to say he grew a little curious as to where he was running off to suddenly.. Really he didn't trust the man even after he saved Mizuki's life that didn't give him enough reason to let his guard down. There were reasons why he slept with at least two daggers at all times.

Whatever the case may have been the man seemed to leave the two there alone. Either way whatever worked. He planned to be up early enough to get most of the traveling they needed done before the afternoon hours, it was hotter to walk then anyway. Aside from that the sooner the better he got the message back to the General.. He had a sickening feeling something had happened during the time he was away. Though he hoped it was just his mind getting to him.

Seeing as Mizuki had walked down the hall and was planning to use one of the other rooms, he figured he'd let him. He needed the rest anyway and he figured that the two of them would end up fighting again over nothing or things that should be over looked or thought twice about before saying. Plus Thalion knew his temper got the better of him commonly.. he didn't want to further say something that he'd end up regretting later.

Or that was his thoughts at least as he walked past the room that Mizuki had chosen and into the one he had been allowed to use for the past nine days. Sure he wanted to hold Mizuki in his arms and know that he was ok, it had been hard to sleep without him.. not that he would ever admit to that to the other. One day maybe, but not at the present time. Though even with it getting late he wasn't all that tired as he seemed to pace the room a few times before resting his back against the wall and dwelling on his thoughts.

It was half tempting to leave Mizuki here, he'd be better off going back to his army wouldn't he? It seemed that he couldn't keep the one he cared the most about safe, that pained him beyond anything that could be said. If he wasn't so stubborn he probably would have broke down a little from thinking on all of his thoughts, but he never saw a purpose in crying or fretting over such thoughts, it never solved anything.

Mizuki stood there in silence, the darkness of the hallway his only friend for what seemed like hours before he slowly turned the door nob to the room and entered with a tear sliding down a pale cheek. He silently closed the door behind him. The room was dark and had no windows. Taking the chrystal off his neck he brought it to his mouth and blew softly. Soon the chrystal began to glow a light lavender.

Looking about the room he saw a bed with plush pillows that looked inviting, yet so cold at the same time. He sighed and picked a spot upon the floor leaned up on the wall. Over the year he had spent with Thalion his mind finaly began to rest and he began to sleep more and more. Though on the days where Thalion was gone...his mind was plagued with images he soon wanted to forget. He learned that meditation on those days was the key.

So there he sat, crystal held in his hind giving a light hue to everything in the room. Letting his hair down for a change he closed his eyes and began his rest. Though his mind was uneasy and even unknowest to him while he sat there he cried. Soft rivers of lavender hinted tears stained his cheeks for the entire time. It would seem his mind was all but clear.

He had tried to rest, though his mind didn't allow him to. Normally he shrugged off the fights they had or even the choice words they spit out to one another, but this time it seemed to really work on him. He went about trying to force himself to sleep for a few hours at least. He never paid attention to the time anyway. After a while he sighed heavily and sat back up, what was he suppose to do he needed to sleep he knew it. He'd have to be on high alert tomorrow when they were heading back.. to ensure there was no repeat of what happened.

He looked down at the floor as he sat there his shirt thrown off to the side, he had dragged it off out of frustration, and because he commonly held a high natural body temperature so unless it was the middle of winter he liked to avoid sleeping with a shirt on.. among other articles of clothing. He figured Mizuki would be asleep so it was probably a bad idea to go disturb him, not when he needed the rest.

Though after sitting there a while longer he sighed again before standing, he had to think about what if Mizuki was sulking in a corner or needed something and couldn't get it didn't he.. Damn he was a push over when it came to that man. Though his plan was to just check up on him and leave, nothing more.

He kept his movements silent to prevent from waking him if he were asleep and by now he figured he was. tough upon entering the room and looking at the resting Mizuki he frowned a bit noticing there were tear stains along his cheek. Had he really been in here and crying the whole time or at least till his mind got to the point where it was asleep enough to stop..

He couldn't do anything but stand there, it was his fault he knew it. He could have kept his damn mouth shut to prevent this but that went against what Thalion normally did. Even without the crystal that was oddly still glowing he could have seen that Mizuki had been crying, dark elves had a natural ability to see in the dark.

He couldn't just leave him alone now not knowing that Mizuki was going to wake up upset even after a full night of resting. He moved to walk over to the side of the bed before sitting on it's edge and lightly placing a hand to cradle the side of Mizuki's face, though he seemed peaceful enough when he was asleep.

Mizukis mind was rstless. He had the feeling of something or someone in his room and his body tensed a moment before it awakened fully from the light meditation. That is when he felt something warm touch his cheek, soon to realize it was Thalions hand Mizukis tired tear filled orbes looked up. Hair falling about him with ingering strands falling infront of his eyes gave Mizuki the look of a lost scared child.

Mizuki then adverted his gaze and turned his head so that the others hand fell from his face slowly almost in shock. Mizuki for some reason was really hurt from the spat they had prior. His mind kept going over different things that made him wonder some things. Mizuki then had come to a conclution. In a soft voice Mizuki asked a question he wasnt sure he was going to get an answer to "...Do....you love me?" The words were saidin a whisper making Thalion look to him quizically before he realized what was asked.

Mizuki only had one series of thoughts on his mind. Did Thalion really care for him...or was this his way of keeping the male away from the eastern army so the west had a better chance. It pained Mizuki to think that way but...recently it was his thoughts that plagued a rather peaceful mind. Turning eyes to Thalion when he didnt get a response he said exactly what he was thinking "Or...is this all a game to keep me from the east...so the west has a better chance..." Mizuki needed to know.

He just sat there, he was almost stunned he even asked that. What question was that.Though.. he never did say those words to the other. He never thought about it till Mizuki asked that he had never once said it even though they had been more or less together for a year. He couldn't even answer Mizuki even though he had the answer he just sat there.

Though the next words out of his mouth hurt worse then the first ones as he just blankly stared at Mizuki. Did he really just say that? Why would he think.. wait does he think that really? He wasn't even sure what to make of this suddenly, sure the two had little fights but they normally were over with no real hard feelings at all hell most of the time it lead to something else and both sides forgot what the hell they were even fighting over.

"is that what you think?" He finally forced himself to speak as he looked down at the floor, was it really if it wasn't he wouldn't have said it. "Why the hell would I do that?!" He finally snapped at Mizuki as he looked at him with a slight hint of anger in his face. "If all I wanted to do was keep you from your side I would have just killed you. I didn't have to put up with you for over a year just to play games with you." Sure his temper was getting the better of him but it was the truth why would he think such a thing.

Though he was hardly done with Mizuki's ears, he was going to say whatever he needed to, to get the point across. "Fuck, did you even listen to what you asked? I was going to walk right up to the damned Eastern camp to make sure you lived, to hell with my life. It never once crossed my mind of what dangers there were with doing so." He stopped talking a moment to get his breath back though it was very apparent that he was still more then pissed.

"Then you have the nerve to ask if I love you? Oh course I fucking love you damn it!" He seemed to oddly calm down after he said it and his ears dropped a little before he moved and quickly pulled Mizuki up from where he was laying down wrapping both arms around him. He just stayed there a moment keeping Mizuki close as he breathing was a little unsteady, but it wasn't till just now that he had even come to terms with some of his thoughts over the past week.

"Don't ever say something like that again.. not once did I even think of using you. Out of anyone you should know me better then that.. Thats why .. thats why I was willing to ensure that you lived, I can't lose you.."

Mizuki sat there in shock as the male began to yell. Mizuki didnt know why he thought of it but it has been at the forfront of his mind for the past while. Though hearing the anger and hurt within the males voice as he yelled made Mizuki feel almost ashamed of even thinking let alone saying it.

Then his heart almost stopped as his head snapped to the male "Of course I fucking love you damn it!" Was all he heard. Thalion did love him. His heart almsot lept for joy but that was soon replaced as he was pulled up to the bed. He made a little yelp as he was heald tightly into the other males arms.He listened to him silently his head hiding in the crook of his neck and chest with his hair spewed out on the bed beside them. Some even hanging off to brush lightly at the floor.

"I...I'm sorry" Mizuki chocked out kind of pittifully. He was really sorry. In fact he didnt know what even compelled him to say that to the other male but it was to late now. Mizuki gave a little whimper as he turned his head up placing an appoligetic kiss on the under side of Thalions chin keeping his head there to look up at the male.

"Don't be sorry.. just don't say it again. whatever I did to cause you to think such things." He felt like it was something he had done to cause Mizuki to ask such a thing or to even think he was just using him. Had he been pushing him away this whole time, all the little fights they had were they really over when it felt like they were or had Mizuki been holding onto them for all this time.

He released him a little before moving a hand to Mizuki's face and getting him to turn it lightly before kissing his lips. He didn't have anything else to say he had gotten it all out, oddly his temper seemed to almost die completely, even though he was still a bit angry that he'd say such things.

After he released the light kiss he pulled Mizuki close again almost pulling him right into his lap in the process. "I should have just followed you from the start.. or made sure that you weren't alone at least." He still felt bad knowing this whole time Mizuki was in here crying, but he knew about what now at the least or what had been on his mind. "forgive me?" He asked before kissing his neck lightly a few times, he didn't really have the intention to start anything but he figured he did need to make up for .. a lot of things.

Mizuki kisses back just as soft before Thalion pulled away. Looking up into The males eyes he almost falted as he was almost placed within the males lap. He was right...he should have fallowed him. If he had then none of this would have happened. But then again if he did he made not of heard those words anytime soon. At the forgive me comment Mizuki shifted his waight so he rested better to sit up.

Knees bent on either side of Thalions hips he leaned down and gave Thalion a small kiss before pulling back and looking at him. He had his hands on either side of his head, silver hair falling around them in a water fall of long locks. "I will always forgive you" He said softly before his eyes slid half shut and he gave a happy and loving smile saying "And I will always..." He leaned down and placed a kiss on the males cheek before moving to his ear and finishing his words "...Always...love you" His breath was hot as it rustled choppy red locks. With that Mizuki pulled away with a quick swipe of his tongue to the pointed appendage.

He smirked a little listening to him though he wasn't expecting Mizuki to take what he had done further. But apparently he had other things on his mind then just letting Thalion leave so he could rest for the night. "Well.. that's a good thing, cause I thought I said some time ago that you were stuck with me. So it'd be a little one sided if you stayed ticked wouldn't it?" He was just messing with him, but it oddly had a point they had had a minor discussion some time ago now.

That look he was getting from him, that's what he lived to see. It was hard to think this was the same person from before that wouldn't move from the one spot and seemed to sulk every breathing moment of the day. Though his thoughts quickly were temped elsewhere listening to Mizuki speak.. his voice changing a little saying those words. It wasn't too hard to tel that he was hinting at something. Though Thalion wasn't sure if he wanted to let Mizuki continue this or let it get that far tonight. Not after having just recovered, herb or no herb.

Mizuki smiled "It would be rather one sided wouldnt it..." He said before leaning down again and placing a kiss on the other males lips. Mizuki didnt want anything past some light teasing and kisses. All he wanted was to know that the other was there beneath him breathing and alive. When Mizuki thought he was going to die the only thing that went through his head was loosing this man.

Mizuki couldnt help but to make that kiss linger bending his arms so his chest rested on top the males below him. His right arm curled up and around the males head as his left found Thalions hand only to weave fingers togther holding it. He then changed the pass of the kiss a little, wanting no needing to feel the others lips...the thought of death still on his mind.

He could tell something was still on Mizuki's mind, he was being quite again and he was kissing him and letting it linger.. and a different manner then when he wanted something. Though he wouldn't ask, he'd just stay here for the night instead of leaving him. It seemed to be what he wanted anyway as he stayed close and seemed to keep Thalion's lips captive so he couldn't make up his mind to leave.

He still kept his arms around Mizuki or at least one of them, the other now had a hand that was holding the other's. Though after a little longer he released the kiss and spoke softly. "You should get some rest.. I'm not carrying you and we have a bit of a walk tomorrow." It was more of the fact he couldn't really carry Mizuki, not and keep his own energy let alone the fact that he wanted to keep his eyes open.. unlike what he did the last time.

Mizuki sighed almost sadly before he nodded and moved off to the side off the bed laying beside Thalion and placing his head on the others chest. He closed his eyes, His left hand was still holding the other males and his right hand hid in the crook of Thalions neck "Good night then' He said softly placing a kiss to where ever his lips made contact.

He was sleepy and soon he was out cold the warmpth of the male under him putting him to sleep better then anything could.

While later though he opened his eyes. Mizuki was a very timed person. No matter where he was or how little sleep he got he was up at the crack of dawn. Sitting up he stretched and sighed before sliding off of the bed silently not to wake the other,

When he moved he looked and saw two sets of brand new clothes placed before him, He smiled at the kindness of Roka as he placed them on. Walking over to the bed he sat down softly and looked at the sleeping male still on his back. Leaning down he kissed the slightly parted lips until he got a response "Come on...we have to head out" He said softly.
