Niaz just laughs. “No honestly you just save me.” He man shook his head wondering how much he should tell Yuki. Some where Niaz thought he would never see his neighbor again, so it seemed alright to vent just a little. “I've been having a little tiff with my... friend.” As much as he wanted to vent, there were just some things Niaz did not willingly tell. “He usually does the finances for our bakery and out of spite he has been embezzling money and ruining orders...” He waved his hand.” Its a long story, but I just saved the order for a big wedding.” He felt proud of himself. “Its the one on fifth street.” The man said as he turned to leave Yuki and his cat. “I have to get going, again thank you for the use of your phone.”

Yuki tilts his head a bit and has a weird look on his face. "But....why would he do that? Doing that doesn't just screw you over, but in the end can land him in jail big time and hurt whatever other employees you may have. A tiff is a short time thing, but a business....more long term. That can screw over a life." He was a business management major in college. Small business rarely make it past 3-5 years if they make it that long. "Maybe....sometime I'll come by there and buy something?" He smiles a bit. "No problem....see you later."

The small kitten, as much as he loved the touch of his Yuki bird. Had gotten mad that Yuki ate his cookie. He wiggled out of his arms and sprinted after Niaz like a shadow. He caught up with him just as the elevator doors shut. The man was so worried about getting his orders done that he had yet to notice the little black figure trailing behind him. Niaz made a quick stop at his apartment grabbing a few things and locking his place up. He was trying to put on his clothing and check his phone but for some reason he kept sneezing.

"You get back here!" Yuki says as the kitten runs after Niaz. He's never had this urge to hurt an animal before, but he's thinking he's starting to have that urge now. That kitten may love the touch of the Yuki-bird, but the Yuki-bird is now pissed at the kitten. So, he heads up to the others apartment and knocks hoping Niaz came here instead of going somewhere else. Else, he might not find the kitten....which might be better for his blood pressure if he doesn't find the kitten.

Niaz opened his door about to go out but surprised when he saw his down stairs neighbor. “Hi I wasn't expecting to see you so soon.” He said honestly. Quickly Niaz looked around. He smiled a little feeling like he appeared to be a mess. Normally he just had a few batter stains here and there. Niaz paused long enough to put his jacket on, but then turned and started to head into his kitchen. “I didn't think you would want the cookies, but here.” He re emerged with a full tray of baking cookies. Secretly Niaz hopped that he wasn't being rude by trying to push Yuki away. While they were talking the small kitten had slipped from under Niaz's feet and discretely behind Yuki.

Yuki doesn't mind the batter stains or anything, Niaz did say he was a baker. Batter stains are expected. "Ah thank you....and now the kitten comes out. I see how you work." He just shakes his head a bit. "Just so you know....I think that cat is going to escape a lot for some reason....so if you see him out, could you let me know?" He grabs the Niaz-kitty by the scruff of his neck. He was watching for him. he takes the offered cookies. I guess you're about to go do...whatever....so I'll go now. Thanks." His very not happy with the Niaz-kitty, but he isn't letting that show. He heads back to his apartment with some cookies and the Niaz-kitty. "I hope it goes well with that guy you were talking about." He says as he walks away. Like he stops screwing things up on purpose.

Niaz was both confused and amused at watching his neighbor talk to his kitten. The little fellow was cute, and yet he didn't know its name. He locked his door. “I hope so too.” He let out a heavy sigh pressing his head against his door. “I have half a mind to let him fail but I have invested so much into this.” He turned and looked at Yuki. “I'll come back later to get that tray. Or you can bring it to the shop.” He started to fish through his pockets and pulled out a business card. It had a cute little cupcake on it and the title of his bakery: Cakolicious. The kitten walked around Yuki's leg. How could Yuki be angry at him, his cuteness got him free cookies. He did the same to Niaz's leg, causing the man to reach down and pick him up. He gave him his own cookie from the tray. “What is his name?” He said fighting a sneeze.

Hey, cats aren't stupid...and this one is more special than normal cats. So he'll talk to the cat. "That's the catch. That's how it usually goes...one falls and ends up bringing the rest down with him." Whether it be due to legal or other matters. "Okay. I'll try to bring it to you." Since he knows where the guy works and lives obviously. He looks at the card for a moment before putting it in his pocket. "Ah....to tell you the truth....I haven't named him anything unless demon kitty counts?" It fits the kitten.

The kitten mewed and purred being affectionate. “Hmm,” he shook his head. The only thing he could think of was something extremely obvious such as spot, and blacky. “I keep thinking of licorice, and cup cakes.” He laughed. “I guess I have to much sugar on my brain.” He watched the kitten chew on the cookie. “Um what about chocolate or...” He laughed. “No I can't think of anything but food right now.” He set the kitten down. “You sound like you know a little bit of business are you corporate?”

"He just likes you because you gave him a cookie." Yuki is going to immature and stick his tongue out at the kitten. He laughs a bit with him. "Well....considering what you do...makes perfect sense to me." The sugar and food on the brain, that is. "Ah...I have a degree in management? Though....not a job in it unless the main manager can't be in that day....then I take over for him." He shrugs a bit. "But a lot to do with management is knowing about human behavior and why they do what they do." And so far, that statement has been right.

He laughed. He didn't think it was that easy to win over something so tiny. “I will think of a better name, something worthy of the young kitten.” At the rest of Yuki's answer, Niaz looked up, and said something in Hindu. “My neighbor you sound like god send. Do you... If you aren't busy could you come and look at my books? I haven't been able to prove that my partner has been embezzling since I can't afford a accountant.” He shook his head. “Look if you need a part time job could you come and work for me?” It seemed to much to ask some one he barely knew, but that is what made him perfect. He had nothing to lose or gain by helping Niaz.

Yuki shrugs a bit. “It’s easy to win people and various animals other than that.” It’s true. Food wins over anyone/thing if it’s good food at least. “I still think demon kitty is god. It fits him.” At least he thinks so. He just blinks a bit, not comprehending the Hindu coming out of Niaz’s mouth. “I can look. Accounting is mostly about everything balancing out. If something is added…it was taken from somewhere else. Though I may not find anything, but I’ll try…and look through the paperwork. Ah…I can? I don’t mind helping.” He just smiles at Niaz.

Niaz grins. “If it were that easy I would have more friends.” He said truthfully. “Do you mind leaving Demon kitty?” He couldn't have an animal running around his shop, even if it was cute and cuddly unlike its name sake. “you go and put Demon, kitty away and I will walk with you to the shop.” He hopped that Yuki did not mind a little exercise it was the only way Niaz could keep himself from being a bloated pig around so much sugar. He turned and locked his door, giving the little kitten one last rub down before heading down the stairs.

( Yeah Niaz is suppose to be indian. xD my original idea was to make him a fallen Indian god but hes just fine the way he is. )

"It is that easy! You just gotta find the right people." Yuki shakes his head a bit. "I don't mind leaving him...now that doesn't mean he won't magically find his way there if he wants to." He wouldn't put it beyond Niaz-kitty's abilities to do that. "See you in a bit." Yuki just trots back to his apartment, packing the cookies up into baggies. He isn't leaving all the cookies there. The kitten will eat them. He knows this. He puts the demon kitty on the couch and crouches down. E puts a cookie infront of him. "Be good while I'm gone and stay here....you'll have more cookies later if you do." He doesn't have a punishment for if he doesn't. "Alright?" Then he opens a couple of toys...just in case. "I'll be back later." He takes the pan...and shoves the baggie of cookies into his hoodie...before heading back to Niaz.

It is one thing to leave, and another to be left alone. Demon kitten did not realize that Yuki had left him he was happily nipping away at the sugar cookie it would be a while before he realized that Yuki bird was gone. When he did he yowled for him to come back. When he didn't answer the Kitten moved to his favorite crawl space under the tv, curled up and slept in the shadows waiting for Yuki to return.

Niaz grinned at the sight of Yuki, putting away his phone. He took his baking tray from Yuki so that he wouldn't have to carry it, and lead him through the maze of streets about 15 blocks away from the apartment. The bakery's store front was full of lingering customers enjoying sweet confections. A few of them waved as Niaz moved past them, holding the door for Yuki. Inside his other employees were busy filling orders and serving customers. “Welcome to Cakeolicious.” He said. “Would you like anything before I show you to the office?”

(It's about the same to Yuki....Niaz-kitty left and he was alone and now its payback LOL)

Yuki can't know the kitten wants him back...especially considering he was so willing to explore earlier. He's kind of expecting the kitten to be off and not there when he gets back. He just follows Niaz through the streets, remembering the way just in case. He could see this becoming like one of those horror movies. But it doesn't end like that so it's all good. He just heads in. "Not right now...I'm getting a sugar rush just by looking at the sweets." He chuckles a bit.

Niaz just laughed. He pushes his way into the bakery and gestures at the two other employees. His second baker next himself and his cashier. “Alright, this is Jennifer, and that is Roy.” He said the man holding the baking pans nodded before unloading his sweets into a few racks. He came up to Niaz and took the cookie pan. Jennifer grinned pushing back her square rimmed glasses. Jennifer politely cleared her throat turning her attention to Yuki as Niaz slipped into the back. “Hi.” She grinned showing a mouth full of braces. “Friends of the boss man? That usually has sweet perks.” He laughed at her own pun. “Are you sure you don't want something, every thing is fresh now.”

Yuki just nods a bit. As the anti-social moth essentially...he isn't good with new people, but he has learned compared to when he was a little kid at least. He just nods a bit. "Hello. Nice to meet you." He snorts and chuckles a bit at the cheesy pun. Funny, but still very cheesy too. He kind of eyeballs the sweets. He does have a sweet tooth....that he tries to ignore...and this time he's going to fail at it. His sweet tooth (or teeth) demand(s) satisfaction. "What kind of things do you got here?"

“hmm” Her eyebrows went up with interest and her mouth elapsed into a grin. “We have cupcakes doughnuts and cakes, we sell some cake by the slice.” She went on gesturing to the display areas, smoothly talking about the different types of things they made. All of which were Niaz's recipes. “The orange spice cup cake is the best. It has this coke-a-cola icing.” she said pointing out an orange brown cup cake with sprinkles.

Yuki falls to temptation easily sometimes...and it's hard to ignore his sweet teeth (there's more than one) when there's this many sweets around. He just listens...and looks at the sweets as she talks. "It. Has coke icing?" He doesn't know if that's actually possible. Can icing actually taste like coke? Hell, half the time coke doesn't taste like coke. If it actually tastes like coke....he has to try that sometime.

Niaz snuck from his office behind Yuki. He was tall enough that he could rest his chin on the top of his head as he eyed the cupcake. Niaz couldn't help but laugh. He had seen that type of face on many a child that came into the store. He rested his arms on Yuki's head to. He couldn't help it, Niaz was just the touchy type of guy. “Ah the coke cup cake.” He said eying it himself. “Do we have any more red velvet?” Those happen to be his favorite and long with cinnamon bun muffins.

Yuki kind of flinches/jumps once the other appears out of nowhere. That's his story and he's sticking to it. "Why do people always appear out of nowhere?" But after a moment he gets over that and snorts a bit. "Coke used to actually have coke in it." Almost everyone knows that, but he still finds it amusing that they had a really addictive substance in the drink. "Sooo...I'm supposed to be doing something now?" Other than eyeing cupcakes that is.

Niaz laughed lightly, pointing at a cupcake he wanted in the display case. “Of course, You'll have to forgive me Yuki. I have a memory of a fish some times.” The girl handed him the cup cake and he bit into it. His eyes quickly turned from mirth to something dangerously dark. “What ever you do, don't let Adrian come back here, I want proof that money has been going missing.” He grabbed Yuki lightly by the wrist leading him to the back of the shop. Inside a small room there were two desk a computer and a file cabinet. “Alright I am not sure what you need, because honestly I am not sure what we are looking for, but here...” He pointed to one pile.” Are receipts, deposit slips, and that.” He pointed to the computer.” Is our database that pretty much has everything. We have a paper version to if you prefer that.” When he finished talking he gobbled down the rest of his cup cake and gave Yuki a seat.

Yuki snorts and chuckles a bit. Goldfish actually have a memory span of about 8 months or so, but that is irrelevant right now really. "It's the sugar. It distracted you." And it'll probably distract him soon enough...except there is work to be done and he'll try to focus on that first. He sees that dark look and eyeballs Niaz a bit. For some reason, he doesn't like that look. He lets himself be pulled into the other room. "Okay then...this should be a good start if it isn't the finish too." Some people just aren't careful enough. And so, he sits down, before comparing the receipts and the like to the computer ledger. "Are both the paper and computer versions done at the same time? And does he do them both?" He wants to confirm because he may need to check them both. And if one has a discrepency with the other...

(What should he find? Maybe a discrepency between the paper and electronic versions? If anything? And you should go to my next class for me so i can go eat)

Niaz sat in a chair near Yuki. He was both eager and worried. He had known his partner for several years and was sad that it had come to this between them. But it was his knowledge of the man that made him paranoid enough to double check. He started to chew his nails while waiting and eventually started talking to fill the silence in the room. He decided to start with the only thing they had in common. “So how long have you been living in the apartment?”

Yuki sighs a bit before getting out the paper version of the records too. If he can find the discrepency quicker, even better. "Mmm..." He stops for a moment to think about it. He's never thought about how long he's been living in that apartment actually. So he has to think about it a bit. "Mmm....about 10 months now?" He's lived in the area for longer, but not in that building. "How long have you been living there?"

He grinned “For about three or four years. I needed a place that was closer to the bakery. Its nice, except the winter. Every one in the lower floors turn on their heating systems and it just floats up. My apartment gets too toasty.” He couldn't talk with out gesturing, making spirit fingers with his hands. “Where were you before you moved?” He was curious about Yuki, he figured he had some Japanese in him but wasn't sure if he was fresh off the boat or American born Japanese.

"You could open a window or something unless that makes it too cold?" It's a simple solution or could be at least. He chuckles a bit seeing how animated Niaz is with his talking. "Well...before then I lived with my parents in this area....though we did originally come from Japan...but I don't really remember it there....I didn't even start school yet before we moved." He shrugs a bit before going back to the electronic and paper books.

Niaz just chuckled, musing to himself. The boy seemed so analytical and logical about life, it was no wonder he was suited to deal with money. “Not when it snows. Though it does save me money on heating.” He sighed thinking fondly. “That sounds like me, though I lived in India for 3 years before my parents abandoned the old world values for capitalism. Though I am proud to say I passed the citizenship test with flying colours. You should go back to Japan once in your life. You might find it therapeutic.” Niaz pulled a book from a shelf, plucking a pen from his desk he started to write something.

"Well...yeah that would be a problem, but it isn't snowing all the time. So it can at least be helpful on the days it isn't snowing." Yuki shrugs a bit. "There is good in the new and the old. Just got to find the good parts of them and apply them while learning to ignore the bad...or change it, whichever." He shrugs a bit. "I dunno. From what I understand...I would be treated as an outsider anyway since I didn't grow up there....though maybe someday I'll go." He doesn't really see it as a going back for him.

Niaz just shook his head and smiled. “Even if you are just a tourist, looking in from the outside it would shed some light of understanding for things you don't remember. It could be an adventure.” Niaz gave Yuki a toothy grin. He was all about adventure. The idea of back packing through Japan and exploring new flavors seemed like a wonderful idea that he kept to himself. He snapped his book shut. “I am going to show Roy my new recipe and see what he thinks, I shall be back in a little while.” He left Yuki to his searching but second later popped his head back into the door. “How much do I owe you buy the way?”

"I've thought about going there....but it's something I'll do later in life. Not so long that I can't enjoy it....but I have other priorities in my life." And he'd rather have more money, unlike many people his age....he's more worried about security than having the newest electronic or things...though he does give in a bit when it comes to video games. "Mmmkay see you in a bit." He waves his hand a bit at his question. "Worry about it later." If he finds something quickly, it isn't that much work....and he volunteered to do it.

Niaz left the boy to his musings and by the time he came back the shop had closed and the other employees had left. Niaz returned to the room covered in various batters and frosting. He gave a small yawn to announce his presence and set a box full of treats beside Yuki. They were discounted things that couldn't be resold since they made them fresh every morning. "Are you alright?" He said taking up a leaning position by the door.

Yuki has made notes on some paper. He rubs his eyes and stretches a bit. "I'm alright....but there is some problems so far....between the paper and electronic copies." He can't be completely sure that they aren't simple entry errors yet, but this many? No way in hell, in his mind, are they simple mistakes. "There's some differences between them that can't just be simple entry errors....not that many at least."

Niaz lips quickly turned into a small frown. He walked over to Yuki, putting his hand on his shoulder he bend down till his head was resting in the area between his head and his shoulder. “Show me.” he said wanting proof for his own eyes before he did anything to brash.

Yuki kind of stiffens a bit, not used to people being all close and the like. Well, at least not recently. And so he flips through the paper version a bit back to the first problem he found. "See this? This is where the same entry is on the electronic one." He point to an entry on the screen. "This one is lower than what it says in the paper...and there are others." See, this many errors in a period of time? Impossible.

Niaz reached around pressing the button to scroll down the screen while noting the books. Yuki was right as much as he hated to admit it and there was only one other person then himself that had access to the books. With out realizing it he buried his face in Yuki's shoulder shaking it lightly in disbelief. There was enough proof here to put some on in jail. He lifted his head back up. “Thank you Yuki, how much do I owe you?” He asked as his eyes continued to surf the screen once more.

Yuki is just kind of looking around a bit, feeling the awkward moment coming for him. He feels it coming, and so, it does. He makes this squeak like noise when he feels Niaz burying his face. He was expecting an awkward moment, but not that. He kind of pets/pats Niaz's head. He's not sure how to be comforting on this thing. Since there are things he doesn't know about it. "Ah....don't worry about it. It didn't take that long." And what would he have been doing at home? Chasing the demon-kitty. And the demon-kitty, if he hasn't disappeared or destroyed anything, can have more cookie. And...sometimes....things like this take months to find.

Niaz looked up and kissed Yuki's wrist. He pulled the boy into a hug though looking at his face you could see it was full of worry. “No I am truly grateful.” He decided he would pay back the young lad the only way he knew how, by cooking. “At least allow me to make you dinner one night.” He said. He remembered his brief visit to Yuki's apartment and it didn't appear as though the boy cooked for himself that often, but was one of those frozen dinner people. Then again looks could be deceiving. He squeezed Yuki again before letting him go. “I have to finish making an order and then deliver it but the front door is unlocked from the inside.” He laughed a little as he stood up trying to dust some flour off Yuki. “That box of sweets is for you and demon kitty.”

Yuki makes another one of his weird noises at the kiss, definitely not expecting that as he blushes a bit. He just hugs the other back, a little bit awkward, but not as awkward as he could be. "It'll be alright?" He doesn't really know what to say, but he saw that look. "O-okay then." He smiles a bit. Yeah, Niaz is right on that one, or stuff in a can or box that is simple. "Okay....thank you. He should like them..." Considering what he did to get to a cookie....the demon kitty should like it. "I'll see you later?" He says as he picks up the box of goodies. After the goodbyes, he heads back to his apartment to find the demon-kitty and see if he's been good. Either way, demon-kitty will end up with a cookie if he'll come out. He'll give him one of the sweet things in the box later.
