Holden smiled when Solomon said that. "That's good." You know I'm sure my clothes would fit you if you want some fresh clothes." Holden said putting his shirt on. He started humming.
Alicia reached the third floor. "He has calmed down a lot since last night." Alicia said walking to the door. "That's good." Steven said trying to figure out how to tell Holden. Alicia grabbed the room key out of her pocket. She put it in the door and opened it. "Hey dad." Holden said with a bright smile. "Hi Holden." Steven said with a little smile. "What's wrong dad?" Holden asked looking sad. "Well." Steven said walking into the room. "Um your mother past away this morning." Steven said looking down at the ground. "Wait what? How?" Holden asked looking at Solomon. "She had a brain aneurysm." Steven said blankly. "It's not the way I wanted her to die. But at least its over." Holden said zipping up his suitcase. "You are ok with her being dead?" Steven asked shocked. "Yes dad I am. She abused me for fifteen years. Do you wanna know what she hit me with to put me into that coma for two weeks?" Holden asked crossing his arms. "Yes but how could you be so cold about it? I'm glad she wont be able to hurt you anymore." Steven said still shocked. "She hit me with a hammer dad. I'm not being cold about it, I'm sure my mind will process that when its ready to." Holden said looking his dad dead in the eyes. "A hammer? Oh my god." Steven said angry now. "You are right your brain will process it when it wants, but I'm never gonna forgive her for what she did to you." Steven said as he walked up to Holden and gave him a hug. "It's ok dad, I'm fine now." Holden said returning the hug. |
Solomon remained the the doorway of the bathroom, leaning on the door jam. He was silent as Steve told Holden the news. He had a feeling that Holden knew that Solomon was involved, "Alicia..I'm concerned. I mean, I understand Holden hates his mother, but still..she was still his mother. I can't find any sense of grief or remorse in him."
|
"He will trust me, I've known him for twelve years. He doesn't always feel things right away." She said looking at Solomon. "To answer what your thinking he feels you did something." She said looking at Holden.
"I'm gonna go, I need to get the funeral together." Steven said letting go of Holden. "Ok dad, oh ya we are leaving for England this afternoon." Holden said with a smile. "Ok." Steven said with a blank expression on his face as he left the room. "Holden, how dare you do that to him?" Alicia said walking up to him. "What do you mean?" Holden asked confused. "You just fucking blew him off." She said pointing at the door. "No I didn't, I'm sorry that she's dead but I'm also glad." Holden said surprised Alicia swore. "I can't believe you Holden. I just..." She could finish her sentence she was to angry. "I'm going to go and get my stuff, I hope you feel something when I get back." She said as she teleported to her room. |
Solomon shoved his hands in his pockets, "I was hoping to be gone before your father came to tell you the news..." He sighed, "You should attend the funeral Holden...She may have been..evil, but nonetheless she is still your mother." "I know he knows..."
He glanced to where Alicia was standing moments ago, "But I won't make you. You're almost 21, you can make your own decisions, but it would be nice; for appearances." He ran his hand through his still partially wet hair, "If you'd rather just leave and forget about it, then that's fine as well." He knew Alicia would be upset if he didn't convince Holden to go, but he just wanted to get to the other side of the world. Away from Jaclynn and her range of power. |
Holden sighed. "I don't know I need to think. Will you let me paint you?" Holden asked grabbing his easel and setting it in front of the bed. "Please." Holden said with a smile.
|
Solomon smiled weakly, but sat down close to Holden, "I suppose. We've got a few hours to kill." He put his hands neatly in his lap sitting perfectly still.
|
Holden looked to Solomon and then back to the canvas. After two hours of silence he looked at Solomon. "You really paint well." Holden said with a smile. He turned the easel around so Solomon could see it. "What do you think?" Holden asked tilting his head. "To answer you question, I will go to her funeral, but we are going to England. I will buy my own ticket back and to. Just be at the airport to pick me up." Holden said with a smile.
Alicia reappeared. "Well at least you did feel some grief." She said dropping her bags. "You should know by now I need to think about a lot of things." Holden said with a smile. She walked over by Solomon, "Wait are you smiling? This is not good its gonna rain fire soon." Alicia said with a huge laugh. "I'm just kidding Solomon, you look very handsome." She said placing a kiss on his cheek. |
Solomon smiled at the portrait, "It helps that I have an amazing artist painting me. I will fly over today to set everything up and stock my house with food. Alicia will bring you over after the funeral, if that's alright?" He looked to Alicia grabbing his cheek in surprise, "I never said your lips could touch my face..or any of me for that matter. Keep those things to yourself." He smiled a bit and stood, stretching his legs bit. "It's just about Noon, so I should be getting to the airport. See you two soon. Oh! Here, Holden," He grabbed a pen from the desk, writing his cellphone number on a piece of scratch paper, "Call me with the details of your flight. I'll meet you guys at the air port."
He leaned forward, giving Holden a kiss as he handed him the paper, "I'd love to stay, but you know, damn cancellation fees." He disappeared, going to his apartment to gather a few things. He packed up what he needed, which wasn't much, then disappeared, appearing in one of the airport bathroom stalls. He slipped out without being noticed and proceeded to get his luggage checked and board his flight. Now he could just as easily teleport back to London, but this way there were less questions and strange looks from the authorities. |
"Thanks." Holden said with a big smile. "That's fine, my dad will want to get the funeral done as soon as possible. So it will most likely be tomorrow." Holden said looking down.
Alicia smiled. "I will see you in a day." Holden said with a smile. Holden grabbed the piece of paper and kissed Solomon back. Holden let out a little whimper when Solomon broke the kiss. Holden looked at Alicia after Solomon was gone. "His lips are simply amazing." He said licking his lips. He could taste Solomon. "You creep me out sometimes." She said giving Holden a hug. "You know you like it." He said with a smile. Holden heard his phone vibrate in his jacket. "That is probably dad." He said reaching for his jacket. "Yup." He said looking at his phone. "Hello dad." "Hi Holden I just wanted to tell you the funeral is tomorrow." Steven said. "Ok I will be there, I'm going to leave after the funeral tomorrow." Holden said looking at Alicia. "Ok Holden than you for doing that." Steven said hanging up the phone. "Just like I thought, the funeral is going to be tomorrow." Holden said putting his phone back into his jacket. "I know I heard." She said taking a seat next to Holden. "You little eavesdropper." Holden said putting his arm around Alicia. "Hey, the conversation was out in the open." She said with a smile. "I know, by the way how did you get your housing and stuff set up already?" He asked. "My dad owns a house over there." She said with a smile. "Well that's interesting. Can I have my canvas paintings shipped to your house?" Holden asked as he turned the easel around so he could look at the picture of Solomon. "Of course you can. You did a really good job painting him." She said with a smile. |
Solomon frowned as he waited in the cabin of the plane. Of course..delayed. Humans were so obnoxious sometimes. He just sat back and closed his eyes, deciding he could probably use some rest.
After about an hour and a half, the plane was finally hurdling down the tarmac and taking off towards London. He wouldn't doubt that the plane would land just before leaving the States to refuel, just to make sure, and land at the first airport in Britain to do the same. Continental flights were iffy with him, but he just had to deal with it. It was going to be a long, long flight. |
"So what are we gonna do today?" Holden asked looking at Alicia.
"I don't know I was ready for England." Alicia said leaning back on the bed. "Your dad has a privet jet right?" Holden asked. "Ya he does, why?" Alicia asked cracking her neck. "Do you think he will let use use it to go to England after the funeral tomorrow." Holden asked laying down on the bed. "If I say it's just for me ya." She said with a smile. "Ok." Holden said with a smile. "Is there anyway you can block my brain or something, cause there's something I wanna tell you." Holden said sitting up. "I can try but Solomon is more powerful than I am so he might be able to break my block." She said looking at him. "Can you at least try?" Holden said looking down at his hands. "I will try, what's wrong?" Alicia asked putting a block on Holden's brain. "I think I love Solomon." Holden said not looking up. "I know." She said with a smile. "How? That's right vampire. You guy's have no sense of privacy." Holden said looking up. "We have sense of privacy but with you we just need to watch you." She said rubbing his back. "Why do you need to watch me?" Holden asked looking at Alicia. "Its a long story, and if it makes you feel better Solomon doesn't know, I have been able to hide some of your feelings." Alicia said with a smile. |
About three hours into the flight, Solomon found himself being disturbed by something kicking the back of his seat. I hate children. He tried to block out the kicking but he just couldn't. After a few minutes, he turned around glaring at the kid and his mother, "Pardon me, bu--"
The mother looked up from her magazine, glaring right back, "What?" Solomon was slightly taken aback by her rudeness, "I was..just wondering if you could ask your son to stop kicking my chair?" She rolled her eyes, "James knock it off. I told you to behave." With that she went back to reading her magazine. Solomon sighed, sitting properly in his seat again. He groaned as the kid continued to kick his seat. After another few minutes he growled, That is it! I have had it! Suddenly the kid stopped, as he was knocked unconscious. The mother simply assumed he was tired. He sighed, closing his eyes again and going back to sleep. |
"All set." Alicia said as she hung up the phone. "We leave an hour after the funeral." She said with a smile.
"Ok, I should probably call Solomon now." Holden said grabbing his phone. He dialed the number that was written on the piece of paper. It went straight to voice mail. "Hey love its Holden, I just wanted to tell you that the funeral is at ten a.m. and we will be leaving here at one p.m. so we will see you about seven p.m." Holden said as he hung up the phone. "That's done, now we should go to UPS so they can ship my paintings to your house." Holden said standing up. *** "Ah Holden I'm sorry to hear about your mom, she was a great person." A lady said hugging Holden. "Thanks Nancy." Holden said hugging the woman back. "Can we go now." He asked Alicia after the woman left. "Not yet, we have twenty minutes left before we need to leave." Alicia said with a smile. "Please? I will buy a lot of blood." Holden said begging. "I can buy my own blood thank you," She sighed. "Fine but say good bye to your dad and sister." She said defeated. "Thanks." Holden said as he went over by his dad. "Hey dad, we have to go our plane leaves in a little bit." Holden said giving his dad a hug. "Oh ok Holden, thank you for coming." Steven said hugging Holden back. "Your welcome dad, Amanda I love you sis." He said hugging Amanda. Holden walked back over to Alicia. "Let's blow this place." Holden said walking to Alicia's car. |
By now, Solomon was already at his home, having teleported the moment he snuck away in the airport. Not only that, he managed to get the kids leg broken 'accidentally' when they were heading off the plane. Karma's a bitch kid."
As he unlocked the door, he paused a moment, looking around. He thought he sensed something but brushed it off. Damn rabbits..getting ready to ambush him. With a sigh, he stepped inside and closed the door, making the suitcase float upstairs and come to rest in the master bedroom. He quickly located his Butler, among with a few of the maids from the staff, "Guess who's home early~" The maids squealed with surprise, welcoming Solomon home with a hug and greetings. Solomon smiled, "Now, I'm going to be having a human guest around, so I'm hoping there's at least something for him to enjoy once he lands. I'm sure he'll be hungry by then." They nodded and he smiled again, "Lovely~ Now if you'll excuse me..I'm in need of fresh clothes." He turned and left the main living room, grinning slyly as he could hear them scurrying about. He pulled his phone from his pocket and turned it on. After a moment, he noticed he had a missed call. He listened to the voicemail and frowned, that was still quite some time away. *** The next day was fairly quiet compared to the previous. The maids had really cleaned up the manor; the gardeners had made sure to pull every little weed and water every plant, and meanwhile, Solomon just sat in his study, enjoying an old looking book. At about 3pm, Solomon put the thick text down and stood with a stretch. Holden will be here soon...I better make sure a room has been made for him. He doubted he'd find that his maids had ignored that fact, but he needed something to do. |
"I hate plane rides, they just take so damn long." Holden said looking at Alicia.
"Well I could of teleported us there." Alicia said not looking up from her magazine. "That would of been nice to know." Holden said crossing his arms. "Ya well you didn't ask, but I wouldn't of been able to teleport all of our bags." She said still reading her magazine. "All of our bags? I only have two you have like ten." Holden said with a smile. "Well I'm a girl I need more than one bag of clothing." Alicia said with a laugh. "I'm glad I'm not a girl then." He said with a laugh. "Since when where you not a girl?" She asked with a big smile. "That wasn't nice." Holden said with a frown. "Aww don't get mad, you know I love you just the way you are." She said finally looking up from her magazine. "You might wanna get some rest, you didn't get a full night's rest." She said patting his hand. "But I wanna bug you, we have," He looked at his watch. "About four hours left." He said with a smile. "All the reason you should rest." She said with a smile. *** "Holden wake up we are about to land." Alicia said gently shaking Holden. "Why must you two always wake me up?" Holden asked keeping his eye's closed. "Well stop sleeping so much, and we wouldn't have to." She said with a smile. "Neh, how much longer till we land?" Holden asked sitting up. "About ten minutes." Alicia said stretching her arms. |
Solomon nodded with approval seeing that the room was perfect. He looked to his watch, 2 hours. He shrugged, keeping himself busy for that time. When there was only about a half hour before the flight landed, Solomon headed out to the garage. He grinned at the various colored vehicles in the large space. "Oh what to drriiivve~"
He opted for the royal blue Jaguar. He grinned as he entered the car, pulling the keys from the center dash and putting them in the ignition. No one would dare steal one of his cars. They knew better. He turned the key, and sped off down the roads. The police never cared to pull him over either. After all, he could pay the ticket and pay off the police and keep his license. It was only a matter of minutes until he arrived at the airport, parking in the first spot he could find. He walked into the airport, looking for the proper Gate then waited with his hands in his pockets. He wore something similar to when he first met Holden, except rather than a black vest, his vest was now dark blue. He quickly straightened his tie and smoothed his black slacks then put his hands right back in his pockets. He could tell Holden was nearby, he could sense him. |
"Well Solomon is here." Alicia said with a smile.
"At least he didn't ditch me." Holden said as the plane started to land. "He wouldn't do that." Alicia said as she jumped from the landing. Holden and Alicia got off of the plane. Alicia looked at the pilot, "You only brought me here." She said pressing her index finger on his forehead. Holden and Alicia walked into the airport, Holden saw Solomon the second he got into the airport. He wanted to ran at him and give him a hug, but he didn't wanna attract any attention. "God he looks hot." Holden said eying Solomon up and down. "He looks like he did when he left." Alicia said with a smile. "But I haven't seen him in over twenty four hours." Holden said with a smile thinking back to the shower. "Please don't think back to the shower I don't wanna see that." She said shaking her head. "Then get out of my head." Holden said with a smile. They were very close to Solomon. "Hi Solomon." Holden said with a smile and a wave. Holden sped up his pace so he was close enough to kiss Solomon. He got up to Solomon and gave him a passionate kiss. |
Solomon smiled, pulling Holden close, giving him a rather passionate greeting back. "Well good evening there hot-stuff." He kept his hand around Holden's waist, giving Alicia a quick wave, "Your pilot is an idiot by the way. He dove way too steep. He's lucky it was only you guys in there or he'd be out of a job." He winked, leading them through to get their bags, "And you're responsible for your 20 thousand bags Alicia, I don't have a vehicle large enough to carry all that. Holden, yours should fit in the trunk rather nicely."
|
"Evening." Holden said with a smile.
"I know I was gonna talk to my dad about him." Alicia said a little embarrassed. "I already got it covered. Is it ok if I stop by your house later after I feed and get cleaned up?" She asked fallowing Solomon. Holden nodded at Solomon, and gave him a wink. "So how long will it take to get to your house?" Holden asked grabbing his bags. |
Solomon nodded, "Of course Alicia. You remember where I live right?" He looked to Holden, taking his bags and carrying them with ease, "About a half hour, maybe less. Depends on how fast I feel like driving." He led them outside and to the space where the blue Jaguar sat, glittering brightly in the sun.
He put the bags in the trunk holding the door open for Holden, "After you sweet-cheeks." He winked, shutting the door after Holden got in going around to the front and getting in. He waited a moment, in case Alicia had needed anything. |
"Yes I do remember." Alicia said with a smile.
Holden smiled at Solomon. "Thank you love." He said as he got in the car. "I will see you two in probably two hours." She said with a wave as she went to the car that was waiting for her. Holden put on his seat belt, "Now just don't kill me ok?" He asked with a boyish smile. |
"What kind of person do you take me for? I could never kill you." He smiled, turning the key in the ignition and cautiously leaving the parking lot. There was quick a bit of traffic, so he took it slow until he was a good distance away from airport traffic. With a dark grin, he peeled off from the red light, skipping second gear as he shifted, then skipping fourth and dropping into 5th, then 6th.
It was only about 20 minutes until they arrived at the manor, forcing him to slow down as he pulled into the laid brick driveway. He parked in the garage and turning the car off. He quickly got out, holding the door for Holden, "I have a separate room set up for you right next to the master room, but feel free to make yourself comfortable in mine. I don't mind." |
Holden smiled at Solomon merged into traffic. He gripped on tight when Solomon peeled off from the red light. They arrived at Solomon's house. "Eherm well that was invigorating." He said as Solomon stopped. "Thank you," Holden said as he got out of the car. "I will make myself comfortable in both." He said with a wink. "My room I will use for painting, your room I will use for sleeping. Even thought not much sleeping will be done." He said kissing Solomon.
|
Solomon smiled, kissing him back, "You sleep a regular schedule like most humans." He took Holden's bags and led him inside and up the stairs to the room, "Here you are. Do you want help unpacking or anything? Oh! And what would you like for dinner? I'm sure you're hungry."
|
Holden followed Solomon up to his room. "Nah I got it. I'm not hungry right now I actually feel a little queasy, its because of the flight." Holden said grabbing his bags from Solomon. Holden sighed looking around, he went to the window and opened it a little bit. "You have maids and butlers right?" Holden asked turning around and looking at Solomon. He went to his art portfolio and opened it. "Here you forgot this at the hotel." Holden said grabbing the small painting and handing it to Solomon. He went back to his portfolio and grabbed a stack of paintings and drawings. Holden started strategically placing the pictures around the room.
|
Solomon nodded, "Very well, just let me know if you change your mind or get thirsty." He smiled, leaning on the door jam and watching Holden quietly. As Holden handed him the painting, he looked depressed, "Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry Holden! I was in such a rush and I've had a lot on my mind!" He held it gingerly in his hands, pondering of where he wanted to place it.
|
Holden smiled. "It's ok Solomon, I understand. I mean its not everyday a human get's to live after being told by his friend and I assume boyfriend that they are vampires." He said placing a picture on the desk. Holden held his hand up before Solomon could speak, "I made her tell me." Holden said looking all over the room. "I could tell something was up, I think you two are rubbing off on me." Holden said with a smile as he looked at the picture in his hand.
|
Solomon frowned, "I wish you wouldn't have done that. Things are dangerous enough as it it." He left before Holden could say anything, placing the picture on the desk in his main study with a smile. He then turned and came back to Holden unpacking. "I told you to just trust me and let me handle it Holden." He was mildly distressed about Holden's persistence. "If you ever hide that you told him something like that again, I will make you regret it Alicia." His tone was neutral as he spoke to the both of them.
After a moment of silence, Solomon crossed his arms as he leaned back on the door jam. "And if you're never going to listen to me, I don't think this relationship can work." He winked with a large smile on his face, "Ah, I kid. I enjoy a man who occasionally breaks the rules." |
"I trust you, I have a right to know if I'm in danger." Holden said as he hung up his shirts in the armoire.
"Damn it Holden!" Alicia yelled in Holden's head. "Ow you don't have to yell in my head!" He said grasping his head. "Well sometimes you need to be yelled at." She said not letting up the pressure. "Well ya but not in my head." He said still holding his head. "You didn't have to tell him that I told you." She said still pissed. "So sue me, I can tell the truth to my boyfriend." Holden said looking up. "Damn it Alicia, you always make things difficult." Holden said walking over to Solomon. "Can you block her out of my head please?" He asked. "Also I'm gonna go for a walk," he held up his hand. "I know your gonna follow me but at least make it seem like I'm alone." Holden said walking out the door. Holden sighed as he walked down the stairs. "Damn vampires, I can't have a damn moment to myself." |
Solomon shook his head, "She's not my problem~" He smiled and stepped out of Holden's way, "I'm not going to follow you. I'm not a hoverer." He let Holden pass him then went down the hall to his study shaking his head, "Your ass..in my study. Now Alicia." His words were harsh, but he was rather relaxed and calm in her mind.
|
"Oh this is great." Alicia said bitterly. "Thanks Holden you got me in trouble." She said getting ready to teleport.
"Shut up Alicia." Holden said as he went out the door. Alicia teleported to Solomon's study. "Look Solomon, I'm sorry but he can just be annoying sometimes. Especially when he want's information." She said defending herself. |
He held up his hand, "I'm not going to yell at you Alicia. Just, don't do it anymore alright? Somethings he shouldn't know, even if it may involve him. It's bad enough I made the stupid mistake of telling him...I wish I never did." He ran his hands through his hair, sitting heavily into his office chair. "But, I don't feel right erasing his memories about it...but, I really want to right now..." He leaned back, closing his eyes as he thought.
|
Alicia stood there a little shocked. "No Solomon you are not to touch his brain." She said slightly waving her finger at him. "If you'd wipe that from his brain who knows what it would do to your guy's relationship." She said. "I feel bad that we are both in his brain, he literally has no privacy." She said with a sigh. She sat down in one of the chairs. "There has to be something else we can do, I mean I would love to have my best friend for eternity but I don't think his psyche is stable enough yet." She said rubbing her temples.
|
Solomon shook his head, "I will not subject Holden to our miserable lifestyle." He sighed, placing his elbows on the desk and placing his head in his hands. "I won't be screwing around in his brain, I promise that...but still.." He sat up after a moment, looking at Alicia with a hard stare, "You know, you can pull out his mind anytime you want. He doesn't need us babysitting every second of the day. He was doing fairly well, save for his mother, until w..no..I came into his life." Solomon usually didn't have doubts about his decisions, but when he did, it was really hard on him emotionally.
|
"Solomon shut up ok next to me you are the best thing that has happened to him. Before I set you two up he didn't know when the next time he was gonna end up in a coma." Alicia sighed. "I want to but he needs someone to watch out for him, even though we are safe for now doesn't mean that danger wont come." She said looking at Solomon.
Holden was enjoying his little walk, England was very beautiful at night. He started to hum. He felt like someone was following him., he turned around and saw no one. All of a sudden someone's hand was over his mouth and they disappeared. "Shit Holden. I told you!" Alicia said as she teleported to where she last felt him. |
Solomon sighed, "Still.." Suddenly he trailed off, seeing as he was talking to an empty room. With a sigh he leaned back, knowing Alicia could handle herself. He would've loved to jump in and save Holden, but Alicia stole the spotlight chance from him and now he just wasn't into it.
|
Alicia appeared where she last felt Holden. She sniffed around to try and figure out who kidnapped Holden but she couldn't pick up the scent. "Damn it." She said teleporting back to Solomon. "Great just fucking great." She said looking at Solomon.
Holden was trying to move but he couldn't. He was strapped down to a table and blindfolded. "I told them to kill you." A distorted voice said. "Young people don't listen to their elders." The voice said again. "Now Holden are you ready to die?" The voiced asked as he got closer to Holden. Holden was almost crying, he couldn't speak because he had a gag in his mouth. But he did yell a muffled "NO!" "Oh you are no fun boy, I guess since no one is coming I can torture you." The voice said with a evil laugh. "Please no." Holden said but it was muffled. "Oh come on it will be fun." The voice said sharpening a knife. Holden whimpered. "Let's see what shall we do first? Hm?" The voice asked playing with the knife. "Oh I know." The voice said as he put the knife through Holden's hand. Holden screamed out in agony. "Gah!" Alicia yelled out when the knife went through Holden's hand. She fell to her knees. "They are torturing him." Alicia said holding her hand. |
"Really, I couldn't figure that out? Wait here you amateur. I'll show you how to really track someone." Suddenly, Alicia would feel a force spreading over the room, soon the house, and then the entire city. It spanned everywhere; every nook and cranny; every house; every closet. Solomon frowned as his search continued, "I'm assuming the person who has Holden is a vampire, since you cannot directly sense him. But, that also means there's a block about him and the building he is in. Simply find the hole." A sadistic grin came across his face, and suddenly he disappeared.
Solomon reappeared a few yards from Holden, his arms crossed and his eyes red as he stared down the vampire who held the knife, "Oh, bad move Joseph." He came forward, grabbing the vampire by the back of his neck and pulling him away from Holden and into the wall behind him. |
The man grabbed another knife. He looked up and saw Solomon. "I told you to kill him Solomon you just don't listen, and neither does my damn daughter." He said as he flew into the wall. "We can just drop the charade Solomon. Holden it's me Mr. Winters." He said with an evil grin. "Your idiot boyfriend was supposed to kill you, but no he cares to much for you." Joseph said looking at the bound, blindfolded, and gagged Holden. "You might wanna stay there Solomon." Joseph said as he teleported Holden into his arms. "Now you see young man I can teleport anyone from anywhere, which I know you can't do." He said with an evil smile. He pulled the knife out of Holden's hand and put it to Holden's throat. "Now let's see how you act when your lover is in even more danger." Joseph said smelling Holden. "He has a fantastic smell, I bet his blood tastes amazing." He said hovering over Holden's neck.
|
Solomon pocketed his hands, "You don't take me for a fool do you Joseph? While I am at least 200 years younger than you, I still have at least twice the power you do.""I warned you about your father Alicia. I'm sorry but he's not going to get past me this time." Solomon remained aloof as Joseph put the knife to Holden's throat. It was rather hard to ignore the intoxicating smell of Holden's blood, as it had been at least 6 months since his last meal. With him never really fighting or using his power, he really had no need to feed.
He blocked the scent from his nose, his eyes returning to icy blue, "Pardon me Joe? I don't recall ever declaring anything about Holden and myself. The crazed boy may have his fantasies about me and our relationship but he's way off." I'm sorry Holden...perhaps, my strategy will work. If not, well I have other methods... He rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck as Joseph mentioned Holden's smell, "Why do you think I brought him all the way here? I can't just let any vampire make him their prey. I mean, such a prize doesn't come around often, I have to take it when I see it." His expression remained cold as did his tone of voice. Come on Joseph..loosen up your grip already. That's all I need. |
