"I guess if you want to do that, then that is fine." he said washing the dishes. Then looking over to the other when it came to his birthday. "You don't need to get me anything on that day. . ." as he went back to cleaning. It was day he never really had anything nice happen to him it was all really painful and it hurt. Haru nodded and smiled grinning happily he felt like he was being useful and it meant he could save up for special things "My carer always gave me something on the day of life... I want to do the same for you..." he closed his eyes and looked down biting his lip "You're all I have and it's an important day for us both, if it wasn't for your day of life then I would likely still be in my garden not thinking any differently than how I did before you met me." he knew it was the truth in his mind

"But if it is something you want to do you can do it." he said him as he placed the last of the dishes away went over to dry off his hands. Walking over to get his shoes on as he looked over to Haru. "We are going to go out side for a bit okay?" he asked the other to make sure it was okay. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru smiled nodding "Yes it's something I want to do." he wasn't going to say that it was important to him, but at the end of the day it was as a life was a precious gift he had been told by his carer. "If we are ever caught Amire, I think my carer would fight for you... she chose you to be the one to help me learn." he knew he could be a handful but he tried his best it was just going to take some time "Okay" he moved to where he had put his contacts and started to put them in jabbing himself in the eye a few times before getting the first one in and repeating with the second one. When it was done he moved to the door forgetting about the sandals "Medicine before going out..." the last thing he wanted was to have his energy go out of control because he panicked.

Amire watched the other look as if he would poke his own eye out it was rather unnerving to watch it. "If she wants to fight for me she can. . . but I wouldn't ask her to." he said getting the medicine read for Haru to take then packed one away in the bag. "Yeah all that, don't for get the sandals." he reminded the other. I am the manry-est of men! |
"I would use my abilities to put them in and cause less pain but I can't they can trace us with my gifts." he said looking down knowing he was likely the one that was going to expose them but he was trying his best not to let his abilities flare bringing out one of the last gems he cried and held it out to Amire "It's a sapphire, think we can do something with it?" he asked with a wide smile as he allowed the medicine to go into his wrist before going to get his sandal's on looking to his feet he wiggled his toes "They are weird."

Amire looked at him, the took the gem with him to see how they could sell it off with out sticking out like sore thumb over it. "I know but you need to wear them." as he walked to the back of the house to go into the back yard where Amire started to make a garden that was growing the veggies and other things so he wouldn't have to go out as much to get things, the only things he would get would be eggs, milk, juice and some other things. Once he was out side it was warm the sun was up high as he walked down the few steps. "I can show you what I have gotten done so far here." he said back to Haru. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru smiled gently as Amire looked at the gem in his hand "We can say we get sent a few each month by the person who looks over our finances, it comes in our parcel." he said not knowing if it would work failing that he could make them accept it but he knew that was against morals to begin with. His eyes went to his feet once more as he wiggled his toes trying to get use to the feel of the sandals but couldn't.
After a while he walked behind Amire but sat at the door almost as if there was an invincible field preventing him going out "Amire, I'm worried about coming out what if I get scared." he was a little panicked at the thought of going out of control in public. |
"Well you don't have to worry, we are in our own backyard, so we will be fine people can't come in here unless they ask us besides its our home and it is our place so unless they ask no one will be here only you and I." as he stood on the sidewalk waiting for the other to come out side. "Just be calm and not worry. . . ." I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru listened and moved a little out of the house his eyes darting back to the house the want to retreat shown in his eyes. The only reason that he even managed to get out his garden room was he wanted to protect Amire so his mind set was different. after a little while he moved down another stair though it was easy to see that even only a few inches away from the house he was feeling uncomfortable and slightly panicked.

"Like I said you don't have to come out here. . ." Amire said to him as he watched the other being sure he would be okay. "I can take pictures for you so you don't have to come out side." knowing it was just to hard to have someone who lived there whole life locked away it was just a bother and hard to deal with. Haru shook his head he tried to hide the fact he was scared but was failing and he knew it "I-I'm fine..." he said moving down another step "I-I need to learn." he wanted to run and hide back inside the house but if he did that then questions could and would arise from others wondering if he was being abused and why he wasn't coming out of the house "I-it's for us both I-I need to." tears fell from his eyes as he pushed forward trying to get use to it but he couldn't make it to where the other was he was on the last step and even that was to much for him but remained there.

"You came out side. . .congrats to you then." as he tired to cheer him on. "But if it's to much you can go back inside. . ." he would just have to play it off that he was far more sick then normal. "I need to get started on the gardening soon or it wont get done at all." he said to Haru still watching him to see what more he would do. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru fell forward onto the grass, he purposely done it he enjoyed the feeling of the earth it reminded him of the garden at the temple and quickly took his sandals off crawling to the other the panic seemingly gone from him "It reminds me of home..." he said sitting at the vegetable patch "Can I sleep out here like I did at home?" he asked anyone else that would be listening would think him odd or abused just for that one sentence as he looking to the growing vegetables "Perhaps we should get some chickens." he said looking to an empty part of the garden that could be used to tend to them wondering what the other thought.

Amire looked at him, "You can't just sleep out here people would think you odd or I am mean to you have you sleep out here I mean I can pitch a tent and you can stay out here once in a while but not all the time." this was getting harder for him to work with as he looked around to see if anyone was watching or listening. "I have build a coop so it will take some time if you want something like that." he said sighing some as he needed to start working in garden, I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru looked to the carrot and shoo'd away a bird "My carrot!" he pouted not wanting anyone to touch the vegetables as it was the favourite part of his evening meal "But your not mean... you are a good big brother who loves and cares for me since mummy and daddy died." he knew hey where outside and they had a back story so he played along. "I loved camping, it's a pity we could only do it in the back yard because I got it sick." he said looking down a bit almost like he was the cause of a lot of sacrifices.
"Well if we had chickens they could lay eggs for us and then we wouldn't have to buy them from the store and it would save coins wouldn't it like the garden." he said wondering if it was right as he had no idea how much eggs cost. |
As Amire started to work on the garden he nodded some. "If that is what you want I can do that. . ." he said as he started to water the are then make sure everything was okay. Once he was done he went over to the empty part to start going to some mersuring. "Egg once in a while can be costly and I would have to see if they will even allow us to have a coop here." he said as he took notes of it. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru watched but soon stood up and chased after a butterfly wondering what it was his eyes filled with childish wonder "Look Amire, something new..." there had never been butterfly in the garden before so this was something truly exiting to him one of the neighbours heard Haru and looked over the fence to Amire "Ah the wonders of childish innocence..." he chuckled picking up his own son and nuzzled him lovingly, his son's eyes where a deep ruby.

Amire looked over his shoulder looked back at the man as he lifted his child up seeing how he had bright color eyes. "What a pretty color of eye color your son has." he said bowing his head, "My little bother was sick a lot so he never could go out side." as he walked over to where Haru was. "It's a butterfly they come by looking for a place to have a meal and rest." he said as he looked back over to the man. "So have the people from temple come to ask you about your son?" he asked. I am the manry-est of men! |
The man looked at him and nodded "Yes they are a wonderful color." he said nuzzling his son some more looking at haru "I don't believe him ill, just very sheltered." he said honestly as he moved to get a bottle sitting to feed his son "The temple's don't know about him I delivered him here, just in case he was born with divine eyes." he said the infant's nose going to his daddy's nose "My name's Mitch, and my bundle of joy I haven't named yet as I believe he needs a special name since he is a special bundle of joy"
"The temples believe he was still born, and that is the way I want to keep it." he said kissing his sin's head "I don't want the temples to take the last gift she gave to me..." his eyes closed as tears fell from his eyes "Does that make me selfish?" he asked Amire "He can worship the divine here with me..." he smiled a little opening his eyes hearing his own son crying "I forgot your empathic." he said kissing his head it was clear that he was a loving and truly devoted father. |
"No, no, it makes you a wonderful father. Far better then I had seen most parents and I say keep your son safe. . .and be happy with him." Amire couldn't help but feel so envious of the child and how it was loved and wanted by his own father. "Just never let them know or find you ever. . ." he said. "Sheltered. . . .I wouldn't even know where to start really. . ." as he lost his train of thought on everything and seeing how someone could love a child so much though knowing he could get in trouble he was happy for the man. I am the manry-est of men! |
"Thank you for your kind words, it's not easy as you can imagine." he said placing down the bottle so he could wind his son "I am, and we will be. He will be able to serve the divine just fine here, I mean I've been serving them all my life from this village so I don't see why children of the divine are taken." he said looking to his child who had just been sick all down his back he brought him down and looked to him "Oh I bet you find that funny..." he laughed as his son giggled taking the bottle so he could finish it off before he changed.
"They will not find us, I am careful when I do go out I use a type of screen that he can look out but people can't see into the pram not that anyone says anything as some children are sensitive to being around other people" he said looking to him "Please don't say anything to the temples, he's all I have..." his voice begged Amire he had no idea that Amire or Haru where like his son though that might have brought them closer. "It's going to get harder when he is older, he'd going to end up becoming a prisoner because contacts cost so much, I've heard that some well off families can't even afford them so it's going to be impossible for me." he said with a sigh. Haru looked over his shoulder for a second before moving into the house and grabbing some of the gems he cried and walked them back out to show them to the man "Will these help?" he asked a smile on his face. The man looking at him in disbelief. |
Amire looked at the man. "I can't say nor will I. . . .I can understand how you feel. . . and I know what it is like to not have anything left." he said to the man that was truth really Amire hand nothing left in his life that was family other then Louis but then again what could happen and what will happen if they ever had met. Amire looked at Haru then moved closer to the fence. "I will say this to you sir. . . .him and I are not as normal as you think we are. . . ." as he allowed Haru to give the man the gems. The man placed his son down in his playpen and walked closer to the two boys taking off his vomit covered shirt. "At least you have your little brother there even if he's a little sheltered." he said smiling a little, looking at what was offered to him his eyes going wide "T-those are star gems... they are rare and yet..." he just couldn't believe his eyes at how many there where.
Haru looked to Amire "Shh, it's a secret you said not to tell anyone." he told the other off after all they where on the run from the though he was confused at how the man was acting "Amire, what's rare?" he asked innocently trully trying to get a grasp of the situation. |
"Rare are things you hardly see in the world and trying to find them make then hard so having something like this is rare to have." he said then bowed his head to the man. "Use them and save your son. . .and live a happy life. . ." he said to him I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru listened and tilted his head a little "Can't be that rare I cry them..." he said without thinking about it to much. The man's eyes went wide watching as Haru covered his mouth "P-Please don't tell..." he gave the crystals to Amire and ran into the house a trail of gems being left in his wake thinking he was going to get into trouble.
The Man looked at Amire speechless unsure on what to say his eyes going to his son "I'll keep your secret, you keep mine..." he said eventually, he knew this would bring them closer together as there wasn't anyone he could open up to since he knew the outcome that awaited his child if anyone found out. |
"Yeah I can do that. . . .at least you get to keep your son. . . " he felt a little bitter about it. "Haru and I ran away, we where able to get out of the place and live like this. . . but it's hard. . .very hard. . . I can't keep up with it all the time. . .also. . .I am getting tired." he said to the man quietly. "I don;t know if I can really do this on my own, we have markings sooner or later someone will find us. . . " as he leaned against the fence some then looked at the gems that where left as he went over to gather them up. I am the manry-est of men! |
"It must be hard to act like a father when you are unsure how a father acts." he said in reply his eyes going to his own little boy "You are both so very different, but why would you want to run from your duties as messengers I'm sure the temples must be looking for you." he said he like everyone else believed that children taken where looked after and cared for like royalty.
"I must admit you both are the first people I have ever seen with markings, the younger seems to have them on his feet and hands too. "If you ever need some time to yourself to relax send your little brother over here to play, I don't mind and I'm sure they will get on well" he was more than happy to take on some of Amire's burden not really knowing any of the details of Haru's conditions. |
"It's not as great as everyone thinks it is. . . .its nothing but pain and test for most. Like me as he stood up pulled the sleeve up on his arm to show the markings he had gotten. "This is what I dealt with every day since I was three. . . .nothing good happens when a child is sent that way. Haru on the other hand was born and raise in side. . . he was loved and cared for. . . he was one of the few who got this. If a child fails they remove it. . . " he said looking back to the man. "If I could allow him to run freely with out worry I would, but it to much, so I deal with it as much as I can. . . it is all I can do." he said letting out a sigh. "If you wish to stop by and know more I can tell you but I need to go in side now since many of the people are now returning home. . . ." as he bowed some headed in doors to look for Haru. I am the manry-est of men! |
The man looked at him for a moment as he spoke "Tests? It doesn't seem like something the temple's would do to the messengers." he looked at The markings that Amire had and gasped a little "Oh my word what monsters done such cruel things?" he asked covering his mouth "Remove it? Fail?" he tilted his head not understanding "Give me a moment to get my son ready and I'll be over." he said watching as the other walked into the house.
Haru would be in the kitchen with two slices of bread and some ham trying to make a sandwich for the first time "Bread and filling... filling goes in the bread... put bread on the filling" he said to himself walking himself through the stages of sandwich making. |
The red head nodded some, "No one know what happens really with in the walls, this is what we deal with. . .this is how life is for us all. . ." as he walked in. Amire shut the back door then walked in taking off his shoe as he leaned in the door way of the kitchen to watch Haru make him self a sandwich it was pretty amusing to watch but said nothing allowing him to continue to make his meal. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru bit his lip for a moment as he knew he had the right number of pieces of bread to make a sandwich but wondered how many slices of ham he was allowed to use in the end he put a single piece on and put the rest away believing it best not to have to much in case he got in trouble, he had no idea he was also meant to add butter but hearing the door he ducked hiding.

"Well I see you are trying to make a meal for your self, Haru you live here you can have as much as you want, but if at another home you must mind your manners. . . " he said as he walked in to get something for him self and a drink, I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru looked over his shoulders but stayed ducked as there was another knock at the door "I'm trying to learn but it's hard." he explained looking at his sandwich his hand going to the counter but he made no effort to move to the door "Are we expecting someone?" he asked as he started to eat/

"You could say we are in away." as he walked over to the door and looked out the eye hole to make sure it was the man from next door, if not he would just leave it like he always has in the past. I am the manry-est of men! |
The man would be stood with a bram giggles heard from it as he made funny faces to keep his child entertained as they waited. his hand going to knock again. Haru looked over the counter "but I don't have my contacts in, don't open the door" he was worried that who ever it was would see and they would be in trouble.
~~ One of the pharmacy carer's moved to the head of the department with a clipboard in hand as she watched Louis under go tests. "ma'am shield's medications have now been made and his room made to your requirements, but I have noticed something odd in my records..." |
"Don't worry Haru. . . .it will be okay." as he opened the door to see the man bowed his head some. "I see you came after all. Well please come in, don't mind us since almost live like shut in's after all." as he looked around then shut the door locking it and walking back into the living room. -- "Hmm yes what is it?" she asked looking to the other as she was busy looking over the paper work he had was writing down some notes. I am the manry-est of men! |
Haru whimpered but stayed where he was watching as the door was opened and the man walked in with a few bags and the pram. "I brought over some sweets and things, it's not as satisfying when eating some things on your own." he said handing one of the bags to Amire. Haru stood up and looked at the man with amber eyes the man looked at him for a moment "You both truly are like my son." he said Haru nodded "Yes, we can't use our abilities though they have some way of finding us." he explained before taking his sandwich and sitting on the kitchen floor.
~~ "Ma'am it seems we have a large stock of Lust and Light's medicine missing and there have been requests that we continue making their medicine." he said holding out his clipboard to show her "I was unaware they had been found as normally their medicine would have to be tweaked as their abilities grew but no such reports have been given." |
Taking the bag Amire walked into the kitchen and placed the bag down rub his eye it was now to take out the contact it was starting to hurt. As he pardon him self into the bathroom he washed his hand and removed them his eyes trying to a just to them not being in any more. "I'm sorry they where starting to bother me." he said walking back into the living room. "Thank you for the sweets. . . " -- "Really now?" she asked looking over the papers as she read it. "Well then allow it continue this may work out well for us. . ." she said to the other then looked over her should to look at Louis who was smiling and enjoying his room. "Get Shield's dinner ready it almost meal time." I am the manry-est of men! |
The man smiled and brought out a travel playpen for his son allowing it to fold out he put down some blankets and toys before removing the screen and placing his son down to play "It's quite alright it's good to be able to visit people." he explained "Without worrying he will be taken." haru remained behind the counter eating his sandwich happily "Is your brother okay?" he asked wondering why Haru was hiding.
~~ "Yes ma'am I thought it would be best to bring it to your attention." he said taking back the report "As you wish" he knew over time that through this they would be able to track them "I will let the staff know." the man waved to Louis with a smile before walking of to tend to his duties. |
