"Oh? Makes me wonder what you make." He heads up stairs and plops on the bed, pulling his backpack over and opening it up. "So we have fifteen problems to do for Physics class, you probably haven't had a look at them yet because I kind of had you distracted since class got out." Pulling out his text book, note book and some pencils he sets them on the bed. "Do you want the desk or the bed? Either way is fine with me."

Yokuutsu 02-09-2015 10:06 PM

"Various things, fake throwing stars....ashtrays/cone incense burners....sometimes if I have more time I make little figurines from them." Vincent says, shrugging a bit. He snorts a bit at his words. "Well, either way, I'll probably end up looking for a distraction during it all." He says, going over to his backpack and digging out his homework.

(I can't remember where his backpack is....so if it isn't there...GOD TELEPORTED IT OR SOMETHING XD)

ml1201 02-09-2015 10:39 PM

When Vincent says something about a distraction he raises a brow, getting an idea of how to distract him but after how things went earlier he wasn't sure if Vincent was up for something like that.

"A distraction from doing work, or are you referring to how I distracted you with the piano earlier? If you want to do something besides homework just let me know."

Yokuutsu 02-10-2015 12:38 AM

"Well, it's how I work....I can very rarely sit there and get this type of thing done in one go." Vincent has seen people do it all in one go, but that would drive him insane. "I need to do it, but wanting to do it is a complete different story really." He says, chuckling a bit sheepishly.

ml1201 02-10-2015 10:43 PM

"...We could make a game of it if you want, of course there's a penalty for when you get something wrong, kind of like in a game show..." He doesn't know why he's even trying to do this, but after seeing that face Vincent made he can't completely control the urge in him to do things to Vincent. Don feels bad trying to take advantage of the situation, but the more time he spent with Vincent the more he wants him to himself.

Yokuutsu 02-10-2015 11:35 PM

Vincent tilts his head a bit, looking at Don. "What kind of penalty?" But Don does have his attention. It's better than sitting there in silence wanting to bang his head against the wall or something because his brain refuses to cooperate with him. Of course, he doesn't know how Don is thinking right now.

ml1201 02-11-2015 12:26 PM

"You just have to put something in your possession in a pile, it can be anything. Like house keys, a lighter, erasers or even something like a shoe. The winner decides what happens with the stuff, like keep it for themselves, sell it or give it to charity would be the things that could be done off the top of my head. Though if we do go the clothing route its best to have the door closed since my mom might be surprised by what she sees. I highly doubt she wants to see me or you without a shirt if we decide to throw that in the pile."

Yokuutsu 02-11-2015 08:15 PM

Vincent just tilts his head a bit, listening. He frowns a bit, not fully liking the idea. He doesn't have much money, but he does like the idea of a game though. He does snort at the mention of his mother seeing and all. He just moves to close the door. "Just in case." He says simply.

ml1201 02-12-2015 11:15 PM

"Alright, then do you want me to ask the first or do you want me to?" Moving his stuff over he makes room for Vincent if he wants to sit on the bed. "It won't just be you adding stuff to the pile, it will be me too because we'll take turns doing the questions." Opening the text book he flips to the introduction to the chapter that they are working on. Then he opens up his note book to where he's been doing his homework and turns to a blank page.

Yokuutsu 02-12-2015 11:38 PM

"Ah...either way is fine." Vincent says, moving over to join him. No matter who goes first, he's losing something for the end of it. He knows that much. He's not the best physics student ever. He's kind of slow at it, which is fine until test day. He just nods a bit, part of him thinking about what if Done lost his shirt in this or something. He shakes his head a bit, pushing that thought away.

ml1201 02-13-2015 12:30 AM

"Alright then, first question is what is the gravitational force of the Earth in standard units? That should be easier since I'm not asking for metric." Don figured that should be simple enough to answer since most people learned what it was at least in high school if not earlier. And it would also make Vincent not feel too bad about doing this game either. He just hoped that things will go as he'd like for them to, he was going nuts wanting Vincent all to himself.

Yokuutsu 02-13-2015 01:40 AM

Vincent tilts his head a bit at the question. "I think I only know the one in metric." He says, kind of chuckling a bit sheepishly. "Cause they wouldn't let us use anything else in science class anyway, but it is 9.807 m/sē." Of course, he has no idea what Don is thinking, if he did, he'd probably be a bit more wary of this game to say the least.

ml1201 02-13-2015 02:06 AM

"Ah, they taught us both ways at the school I went to but told use public schools don't normally teach in metric, seems you were lucky then." Don smiles, glad he picked an easy on for Vincent to make sure he was still okay with the idea. "Alright, you're turn to ask me a question then. It can be anything about the topics covered in class." His smiles becomes a bit cocky, having taken the class before he knew he'd get most of the answers correct, but he'd let Vincent have some fun and get some wrong on purpose.

Yokuutsu 02-13-2015 02:50 PM

"Well, we always used metric, except maybe in elementary...can't really remember what we used back then." Vincent says, frowning a bit as he tries to think of what they used. He knows he got an easy question, it's good to not start out on a wrong answer in his opinion. "Um....okay then...what's the formula for weight then?"

ml1201 02-13-2015 10:52 PM

"Hm...well what is based on the object's mass and the gravitational force applied to it, so I would have to say it's 'W=m*G'. Definitely not going to say a number for Earth's gravity because if someone wants to find the weight on Mars for example they wouldn't want to use that. Alright then, my turn." He thinks for a moment to himself for another simple one. "Got one, what's the formula for speed?"

Yokuutsu 02-16-2015 01:04 AM

Vincent has his head cocked a bit as he listening to Don answer his question and all. He just smiles a bit when Don is done, waiting for his question. He snorts a bit, unable to help it. "Distance divided by time....yay for normally using another version of that." To figure out how long it'll take to get there. "Then...next question...what's the formula for velocity?"

ml1201 02-16-2015 11:32 PM

"That's fairly simple, Velocity is the displacement divided by the time. Though depending on what you're doing also depends on what velocity you're looking for, but that's for later on in the class." Don smirks a bit, then thinks of another question.

"Alright, how about something a bit more challenging. If the force is seventeen point three and the distance is twenty-eight meters, what is the work?"

Yokuutsu 02-17-2015 01:00 AM

"Look, I go with the simple answer unless someone says otherwise." Vincent says, shrugging a bit. He does tart looking unhappy at the question though. He's one of those people who try to do math in their heads....unless it's test time. It's mostly just being stubborn. "474.4?"

ml1201 02-17-2015 12:11 PM

"Close, but wrong, it's 484.4 for the work. So it looks like you're the first one to toss a possession in the pile. Wonder what it will be." Watching Vincent he waits to see what he does. He'll have to purposely answer one wrong soon just so that Vincent doesn't start feeling awkward. "And there's nothing wrong with giving simple answers in my opinion, but you'll get points taken off if you don't show your work on assignments and tests."

Yokuutsu 02-19-2015 08:39 PM

Vincent kind of flops over, making an unhappy noise. "Noooooo." It's not a no to tossing something in, it's just a general no. He just thinks for a moment before kicking off his shoes and taking off a sock. "Here, have a sock." He kind of snorts a bit. "I don't think you should have to show your work if you can do it with a calculator or in your head, if you want to. But that isn't going to happen."

ml1201 02-20-2015 12:27 PM

Don raises a brow when Vincent vehmently says no, but then laughs when he puts the sock in the pile.

"I honestly didn't think you'd start with a sock. Sorry, can't help but laugh at that. Alright then, it's your turn now to ask me a question. Throw anything that you like at me, but just be sure you know the answer because its not fair if you don't and I gave the correct answer." He winks mischievously at Vincent, as if contradicting what he said since Don has been through the class before.

Yokuutsu 02-26-2015 06:11 PM

Vincent frowns a bit, almost pouting. "I am willing to part with my sock. It was the first thing that came to mind really." He says shrugging a bit. He ends up blushing a bit at the wink, embarrassed a bit. "Alrighty then, time is 57 seconds and speed is 12 meters per second, what's the distance?" He's pulling numbers out of his mind, figuring the answer as he goes.

ml1201 02-26-2015 06:25 PM

"That's simple, fifty-seven seconds times twelve meters per second equals six hundred eighty-four meters as the distance since the seconds cancel out and you're left with the distance traveled. So, am I right?" Don smiles, having fun himself with this game with them just going back and forth with questions. Though he might purposely get the answer wrong for the next one just so that Vincent doesn't feel so bad.

Yokuutsu 02-26-2015 08:09 PM

Vincent just kind of blows a raspberry for the hell of it. It's a moment of childishness. "Yep, you're right." He's not good with coming up with complicated problems or anything. And if a person understands the 'simple' versions, they can figure out the harder ones halfway at least. "So....next question?"

ml1201 02-26-2015 08:15 PM

Don chuckles, finding nothing wrong with Vincent being a bit annoyed by him, its bond to happen, "Alright, nest one then. If the spring constant is four N/cm and the and the extension is twenty cm, what is the load on the spring? Now don't forget your units, you can have points taken off for not labeling them."

Yokuutsu 02-26-2015 08:34 PM

Vincent wants Don to miss one at least. Just one, or maybe more. He just makes this weird face, tilting his head a bit as he tries to brain the answer. He has to brain where the numbers go in the formula. "80N?"

(Somewhere says N-joules...I thought they were newtons? Idek. My brain no retain information now)

ml1201 02-26-2015 11:41 PM

"That's correct, see, you're not too bad at this, you've only gotten one wrong so far. So now it's you're turn to ask me a question. The most common mistakes usually is with common mathematical errors, like adding something wrong or dividing by the wrong number. So I'm just as easily able to make a computational error as you are to be completely honest. Which is why is suggested a person looks over their answers before turning in their test."

Yokuutsu 02-27-2015 12:37 AM

"Well, I'm not too worried about that right now....mainly because this doesn't affect my financial aid or eligibility to keep being in college or anything." Vincent shrugs a bit. "So there's a lot less stress about it and all." He says. "What's the formula for efficiency?" He says before flopping on the bed a bit.

ml1201 02-27-2015 08:14 PM

"That would be the useful work divided by the total work, then multiplied by one hundred. It's used to determine if the system is wasting energy or if its working efficiently...Damn, forgot it was supposed to be one hundred percent, not one hundred." Don shucks his tongue, acting like he's made at himself for forgetting that part when actually he purposely left out the percent.

Yokuutsu 03-01-2015 02:44 AM

Vincent snorts a bit, shrugging as well. "Long as you remember it come test time, that's the most important part." He's not going to be too anal about things. It is wrong mind, but if it was a test and he was a teacher, he'd give most of the credit. Forgetting a percentage sign shouldn't be a complete miss. He just looks at Don, raising an eyebrow as he wonders what he's going to throw in.

ml1201 03-01-2015 06:41 PM

Sitting forward some Don reaches into his back pocket and pulls out his wallet. Quickly opening it he removes his driver's license and student identification, placing them on the stand next to his bed. Then he folds the wallet back up and places it in the pile with Vincent's sock.

"There's not much cash in there, and I can easily have new credit cards issued if need be, so its not that big of a lose to toss that in there. I think the wallet itself might be more worthwhile to be completely honest." He laughs a bit nervously since it was a wallet that his aunt on his dad's side had given him. It was supposed to be some kind of expensive name brand thing that cost her roughly one hundred dollars, though probably worth less now.

Yokuutsu 03-04-2015 01:40 PM

Vincent tilts his head a bit as he watches Don. "You have a credit card?" He barely has a bank card....which has like no money on it at the moment that's to textbooks and school supplies, but at least it was something he needed. That's the only positive he has. He shrugs a bit. "I really have no clue on wallets, long as they hold what's needed, I don't care either way." Cheap, expensive, whatever it doesn't matter to him.

ml1201 03-05-2015 08:40 AM

Don just looks a bit surprised when Vincent asks about the credit card, he thought everyone had a credit card by the time they were old enough to drink. Since most banks allow for their debit cards to be used as credit cards now days. "Well, the bank I have can let you use your debit card as a credit card, but I don't use debit when I use it because the bank charges a fee. So I usually just use credit when buying things. Anyways, my turn to ask a question. What's Newton's First Law? You can give me the less elaborate version of it. Though our professor might be an ass and want it word for word, but not going to ask that of you."

Yokuutsu 03-05-2015 09:24 PM

To Vincent, debit cards and credit cards aren't the same thing. He uses his debit as debit. "They charge you a fee?" He has t ask. "My bank doesn't, though some places will still run it as credit, but that's because on smaller purchases, it's cheaper to do credit for the business..." He shrugs a bit. "But I don't use the card much anyway." He nods a bit. "An object in motion stays in motion and an object at rest stays that way unless acted upon by an outside force....and in my opinion, you don't need to know that in the sense of knowing word for word or know that it's Newton's First Law specifically to function in this field. But knowing it exists and how it works? Definitely." Mini rant right there.

ml1201 03-07-2015 12:06 AM

"Yeah, we have a high interest bank for the savings accounts and get some interest each month on the checkings too, but because of that they charge a fee when using debit in a store. They don't have a fee for an atm or anything like that." He smiles when Vincent gives him the correct answer, "Very good, and I think that answer should satisfy the professor at least, it was a good one. And you have to know that its at least the first one because if he asks for a specific one you have to know which one it is. Now its your turn to ask a question."

Yokuutsu 03-07-2015 12:56 AM

Vincent just makes a face at that. "For that reason alone, I do not like your bank. I need my money and they can't have it." He snorts a bit. "I mean, it's good for other reasons, but if I have money I use my debit card, so that would make me cry probably." He nods a bit. "I meant like outside of class in the real world. Application matters more in the real world I hope." Otherwise, he will be screwed possibly. "What is Hooke's Law?"

ml1201 03-08-2015 05:54 PM

"A principle of physics that states that the force needed to stretch or compress a spring by a distance is proportional to the distance. Did you get to do the lab for that by the way? It was a pain using those weights because they were so worn some of them don't weigh what they are labled as. Then using the scale got annoying because there were only two since the Physics club had taken them to use and hadn't returned them yet."

Yokuutsu 03-10-2015 03:16 PM

Vincent nods a bit. "Good job." He frowns at the lab thing. "I debated about sneaking into the physics club stuff and taking them back. "The school needs to get new stuff once in awhile at least. It's not like the classes are cheap or anything." He will always complain about class prices, at least in his head. It's expensive. Very expensive unless you get enough financial aid. "But I got it done at some point."

ml1201 03-11-2015 11:44 AM

"Thanks." His smile turning into a questioning look when he sees the frown, "Ah, yeah it can get annoying. You'd think that since we are paying for the classes they could at least make sure that we have the materials needed. Though I heard that there was a student working on a thesis for his Master's in that club and was doing a demonstration for the club as part of the thesis presentation or something. I guess since they had already paid to take all these classes that's why they allowed them to do it. Anyways, my turn to ask a question." Stretching out on the bed he thinks a moment to himself. Then smiles as he comes up with a good question, "If the Kinetic energy is 120J and the mass is 16kg, what is the velocity?"

Yokuutsu 03-17-2015 01:17 PM

"Well, he's paying even more than us for his classes. There should be more scales and stuff. I mean, even if they're more we have to mess with to get it right. I would rather have more a bit off than not enough. Especially considering even at doctors' offices, each scale will say you weigh something else." Vincent stops before going into full rant mode or something. He just stares at Don for a moment just blinking, debating on just throwing something else in the pile at the moment.
